Vestibular Rehabilitation Balance Training What is vestibular rehabilitation? It is a specialized exercise program which is targeted at reducing problems related to giddiness, gaze instability, imbalance and falls in patients with inner ear imbalance
Why is balance training important in vestibular rehabilitation? The inner ear is one of the organs responsible for maintaining balance. As such, patients who have experienced inner ear imbalance may have residual balance deficits which need retraining in order to prevent future falls.
