BODYCOMBAT Les Mills BodyCombat is a program that is a martial arts- inspired full- body workout that fuels cardio fitness and leaves you feeling empowered. It's totally non- contact and there are no complex moves to master.

RPM Les Mills RPM is a program that incorporates cycling, choreography and motivational coaching techniques to give you a completely safe aerobic adrenaline experience. It's the ultimate indoor ride! Get in the zone for your 50- minute session and find out why this class is addictive. Please note, no entry is allowed once class has begun.

BODYSTEP Les Mills BodyStep is a program is the ultimate way to give your body a high- energy cardio blast that tones the hips and thighs by utilizing a height- adjustment step. With over 6,000 steps during each one- hour session, you'll see results in record time. Cardio Dance Cardio Dance is a party workout that provides dynamic movements and a great cardio workout to today's hottest hits for any level dancer. You'll never be bored as you burn calories during this workout that explores numerous dance styles.

SPRINT Les Mills Sprint is a 30- minute High- Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results. It's a short, intense style of training where the thrill and motivation comes from pushing your physical and mental limits. This one- hour workout strengthens your entire body by challenging all of your major muscle groups with the best weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weights will inspire you to get the results you came for - and fast! Please note no entry is permitted once class begins.

BodyBalance BodyBalance combines Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates to build flexibility and strength while leaving you feeling centered and calm. Using controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music. This workout brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

BodyPump Express BodyPump Express is a 30- minute barbell class that will hit all the major muscle groups for a quick but effective workout. GRIT SERIES GRIT is a 30- minute high=intensity interval training (HIIT) workout. This program features three unique team training focuses that will push you to your max and beyond. With your coach right down on the floor with you, you won't believe how hard you can workout. 30 minutes of intense challenge established by your motivation and certified coach will be set to explosive music to send your energy levels through the roof.

Gent le Yoga Gentle Yoga is a 60- minute, slow- moving, restorative class that offers participants a chance to explore and refine the basic postures, breathing techniques and mind- body connections of yoga. This class is perfect for beginners, physical therapy patients and regular SilverSneakers Yoga practitioners who wish to grow their practice Yoga Strengthen and open tight areas of the body like the shoulders and muscles of the upper body. This can help you keep good posture. Develop body awareness. Yoga requires you to contract or relax specific muscles as you stretch into each pose.

Les Mills Core Les Mills Core is a scientific core workout for incredible core tone and sports performance. You build strength, stability and endurance in the muscles that support your core, improve balance, assist injury prevention, and become better at everything you do. instructors will guide you through correct technique as you work with resistance tubes and weight plates as well as body- weight exercise like crunches, and hovers. Les Mills Tone Les Mills Tone combines blocks of strength, cardio and core training into one complete and convent workout. This workout includes a mix of exercises to work the whole body and elevate the heart rate. Full Body Circuit Full Body Circuit is for anyone who is looking for a great total body workout combined with fitness education. During your one- hour class, you will alternate stations of weights and cardio while utilizing equipment to burn calories and build lean muscle. You'll also learn about what other things you should be doing throughout the week to reach your fitness goals.

Training Programs Equipment Orient at ion The Y offers a wide variety of fitness equipment in order to cater to your every exercise need. From cardiovascular to strength training, you will find what you need to live a healthy lifestyle. With a wide range of equipment at your disposal, we offer this free orientation to help familiarize you with our entire fitness facility to make your workouts more efficient and effective. Fit ness Assessment s The Y offers Fitness Assessments based on a standardized method in the following areas: postural, flexibility and overall movement. We can also check your resting heart rate, blood pressure and body fat. This is a 50- minute session with a personal trainer who will review the results with you and suggest a path to help you meet your goals. Not e: Addit ional Fees Apply. Personal Training These individual training sessions are for anyone interested in learning how to make the most of their workouts. Whether you need to lose weight, tone up, train for a specific event, or change your current exercise routine, these sessions will allow you to benefit one- on- one with your trainer at an affordable price. Small Group Training **Ext ra Fees Apply** Barre Barre classes mix elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training. and the moves are choreographed to motivating music. In each energizing and targeted workout you'll use the barre and exercise equipment. Rockin' Boot y Strong glutes can prevent many injuries and help avoid back pain, as well as create a balanced physique. To build a well- rounded booty, you need to target all areas of the glutes. We will preform a variety of movements to "wake up" and activate the glutes and engage your core. Pilat es Gain a better understanding of how Pilates works to strengthen the center of the body, lengthen the spine, increase the body's awareness through mental focus, build muscle tone, and gain flexibility. Pilates is safe and rehabilitative for people with back pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, scoliosis, and limited flexibility. TRX TRX Suspension Training is a total- body fitness program that uses gravity against your own body weight. TRX training develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability. Moves can be modified to suit any fitness level. TRX Yoga Uses the TRX trainer to support and enhance certain poses. TRX suspension trainer can help your yoga practice by building stregnth and confidence for some poses that tend to be difficult or induce fear. Using the TRX trainer allows us to modify and then master advanced postures such as one leg tree pose, dancers pose, and headstands.

ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS

Group Exercise Classes SilverSneakers Classic Silver Sneakers Classic concentrates on improving strength and flexibility so daily living activities become easier. It's a fun way to stay in shape and increase social interaction. Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand- held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. SilverSneakers EnerChi Silver Sneakers EnerChi introduces modified tai chi forms. Linking forms together in a guided flow increases strength and vitality. In EnerChi you will teach participants the foundations of weight transfer and rhythmic movement along with awareness and focused breathing. SilverSneakers Yoga Silver Sneakers Yoga will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Senior Splash Senior Splash is a total body aqua- conditioning class that is held in our family pool. It focuses on increasing agility, range of movement and cardiovascular conditioning. No swimming ability is necessary. Water shoes required, water bottle recommended. Space is limited, must sign up for class. Zumba Gold Zumba Gold is a modified Zumba class that recreates the original Zumba moves at a lower intensity. Easy- to- follow choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. This class helps with cardiovascular health, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance!

Small Group Training **Ext ra Fees Apply** Senior Circuit Class Senior Circuit Class is a specialty class designed specifically for our active older adults, both male and female. This 45- minute workout will consist of alternating stations of weights and cardio including a warm- up, abs, specialty work on gait, agility and flexibility followed by cool down and stretching. Any fitness level is welcome.

Craf t ing around t he Christ mas Tree: Dec. 18- 22nd Ages 5- 8 & 9- 12 yrs Campers will have the opportunity to learn new arts and craft skills while creating amazing holiday gifts and treats! Each day will feature holiday themed arts & crafts and activities as campers count down to the holidays.

2024 Rockin' Count down: Dec. 26- 29t h Ages 5- 8 & 9- 12 yrs Campers will count down to the New Year with themed treats, games, crafts, and ring in the New Year with fun, friends, and lots of laughs at our end of the week fun filled Noon Years Eve Party.

eSport s: Dec. 18- 22nd - Ages 7- 14 yrs Join us for our eSports camp. eSports is a great way to improve your child's communication skills and increase group collaboration. Playing games in a competitive environment requires strategy from all players, and preparing counter strategies will help develop the thought process behind problem solving.

Soccer: Dec. 18- 22nd - Ages 5- 12 yrs Over the course of the week, your athlete will get instructional support on the fundamentals of soccer. Players will be divided based on age and ability to ensure your player is getting the most.

Basket ball: Dec. 26- 29t h - Ages 5- 12 yrs Over the course of the week, your top shot will get instructional support on the fundamentals of ball handling, offense, defense and shooting. Players will be divided based on age and ability to ensure your player is getting the most.

CHILDCARE

ChildWat ch ChildWatch is offered as a free service for members with family memberships. ChildWatch is more than just a safe place to look after your children while at the Y. This program offers children and infants the chance to get the most out of their own visit to the Y through playing, learning, and staying physically active. Age requirements, time limits and hours vary by branch. Y Af t erschool Locat ions Grades K- 5 The goal of our afterschool program is to ensure safety for children (K- 5th grade) while promoting healthy physical and emotional growth, assisting working families, and inspiring children to learn. We strive to help each child reach their full potential by offering a positive and enriching environment that encourages the development of character, leadership and cooperative spirit. We offer afterschool care until 6:30pm and all- day care on most school holidays, including summer , at convenient school sites throughout Central Texas. For more information, please contact the Y Licensed Child Care Services Desk at 512- 615- 5563. Preschool at t he Y Ages 8 wks- 5 yrs Located in Round Rock at 1812 N. Mays St. Licensed by the department of Family and Protective Services, we strive to provide each child with positive and stimulating activities within a nurturing Christian atmosphere. Through a well- balanced curriculum, our program promotes positive self- concepts, creative development, intellectual challenge, cooperation and respect for one another. Children are provided with a nourishing breakfast, a hot lunch and an afternoon snack as part of our program. Free Family Friday Ages 6 wks- 12 yrs One Friday each month from 4- 8pm, parents who are Y Members can drop off their children for a free evening of fun while they enjoy an early dinner. For an additional $5 per child you can extend your time to 9pm. Additionally, for $4 per child you can purchase the Family Friday Meal which includes pizza, juice and a snack. Please note, parents must sign up in advance for the evening that they plan to have their children attend. Space is limited and only one of these programs is allotted per month to each family. Mot her's Day Out Ages 4- 5 yrs Mondays & Wednesdays 9am- 1pm Providing a fun learning environment for your child with curriculum that includes art, storytime, socialization and special activities, is what you can expect in Mother's Day Out at the Y. Registration required and fees apply. All About Me Ages 2- 3 yrs Tuesdays & Thursdays 9am- 1pm Providing a fun learning environment for your child with curriculum that includes art, storytime, socialization and special activities, is what makes All About Me so fun! Registration required and fees apply. Kid's Night Out Ages 6 wks- 12 yrs It's 9pm on a Saturday night, do you know where your kids are? Of course you do! They're eating pizza, playing games and making friends at the Y during this evening event. Event time is 5- 10pm. Children in attendance should wear comfortable clothing (including socks), bring their own blankets, pillow and/or wear pajamas. Children 5 and up will swim on designated dates. Mart ial Art s Fire Dragon Karat e Ages 4+ A Korean martial art that teaches empty hand- and- foot fighting, fighting forms, self- defense and weapons. The true goal of this martial art is to use the lessons you learn in the studio to enrich every part of your life.

Yout h Fit ness Teens N Training (TNT) Ages 9- 13 yrs Held in the fitness center, this weight training and cardio program for teens will provide participants with a complete equipment orientation and a personalized workout while teaching them about cardio- weight room etiquette, appropriate exercise attire and proper exercise form/technique. Upon completion, each participant will receive a certificate allowing full use of the fitness center with a supervising adult. Not e: Addit ional Fees Apply.

Rookie League Ages 3- 5 yrs Leagues are structured to allow for both practice and game experiences in the same day. Participants will learn new skills for 25 minutes and put those skills in action for a short 25- 30 minute game after the practice session. All players will receive a YMCA reversible- style jersey and will be assigned a different color each week. All players will receive a participation medal. Rookie Plus League Grades 1st- 2nd (ages 6- 7) Rookie Plus players will receive a uniform package different for each sport. The season will practice 1 hour per week, with a game on Friday or Saturday (based on the sport). This league will consist of 6 games. Scores and standings will be kept. Our rules have been adjusted to ensure better parity and limit the ability of a team to "run up the score." All players will receive a participation medal.

Plus League Grades 3rd- 8th (ages 8- 14) Rookie Plus players will receive a uniform package different for each sport. The season will consist of 7 to 8 practices, 6 games, and a guaranteed 1- game end of season tournament for each age group. Scores and standings will be kept. Our rules have been adjusted to ensure better parity and limit the ability of a team to "run up the score." Players will be ensured to play half of each game. All players will receive a participation medal. Preschool Gymnast ics Ages 18 mos- 4 yrs This six- week tumbling class for preschoolers is dedicated to working on a variety of age- appropriate movements that are great for developing basic motor skills and enhancing body motion and overall coordination. Gymnast ics Ages 5+ Our gymnastics program is designed to teach gymnastics to kids. This confidence- building sport improves self- esteem, strength, flexibility, agility, and coordination. Our athletes use these skills to advance to our higher level class or as the foundation for all other sports. Participants go through a progression of learning and qualifying skills before an advanced technique is performed.

ChildWat ch Enrichment s Babysit t ing Cert if icat ion Ages 9- 15 yrs Our two- part course takes teens through all elements of becoming a well- trained babysitter in order to handle situations that may arise when taking care of children. The course starts out by teaching the basics of handling children, changing diapers, feedings, rescue breathing and general safety rules. The second part of the course takes students through the Red Cross First Aid/CPR training for babies and young children. Once both parts of the course are completed, students will be tested in order to obtain a certification. Spanish Immersion Play Ages 3- 5 yrs In this 6- week session your children will learn Spanish while interacting with friends, creating arts and crafts, working on learning centers, and sing- a- longs. Comic Book Creat ion Ages 8- 15 yrs In this class, students will explore the history and lore of traditional comic books. Students will create their own heroes and their unique stories. This class is a combination of writing and drawing, and will challenge students to share their vision thru both words and images. Amazing Brushes Ages 5- 8 yrs Join the fun while making art, socializing and making new friends. Students will enjoy learning about basic elements of art such as color, lines, shapes, and texture using watercolor paints.

eSports is a very exciting program with so many possibilities! Our aim is to teach youth how to play Rocket League, Minecraft, and Super Smash Bros in a team sports environment. They will learn to improve their teamwork, communication, problem solving skills, and sportsmanship. Int ro t o eSport s Ages 7- 14 yrs Join us for our all new Intro to eSports Class. eSports is a great way to improve your child's communication skills and increase group collaboration. Playing games in a competitive environment requires strategy from all players, and preparing counter strategies will help develop the thought process behind problem solving. Now offering Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, Minecraft and Rocket League Classes. eSport s Teams The eSports teams will focus on teaching skills such as communication, teamwork and strategy and applying these skills through all games! The league will meet twice a week and focus on practicing with their teammates and coaches, and playing against other YMCA teams. Rocket League Team Ages 7- 14 Rocket League is a game where players control a rocket powered car and play soccer, or as the game calls it Soccar. We will meet players where they are at skill- wise, and teach fundamentals such as: ball control, car control, defense, aerial maneuvers, and rotations. We will also provide film review, which is a detailed look at previous matches played where we will find constructive ways to improve mistakes. Super Smash Bros Team Ages 11- 16 Super Smash Brothers is a classic fighting game beloved by many with a long history in eSports. Whether you are new to the game or experienced, we will teach you what you need to continue improving: Character match ups, spacing, edge guarding, neutral game, and following up on combos. League of Legends Team Ages 16 and up League of Legends is a tactical, top down, MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game, and it is one of the most popular games in the world! League requires elite teamwork, communication, and strategy to play the game effectively.

Lego Movie Maker Ages 6- 12 yrs Students work in pairs to create a short story, draw it out, and build it with LEGO Bricks, and then they will bring it to life on film. Students will create their very own movie, complete with sound effects and music.

Group & Privat e Swim Lessons More people learn to swim at the Y than any other place in America. We'll make your family members better swimmers and better people by encouraging healthy spirit, mind and body for all. We offer both group and private lessons for all ages. Junior Waves Ages 5- 13 yrs This class is designed for those youth looking to join an aquatics club or swim team but require additional training. Weekly evaluations are held and upon registration you will meet twice weekly. Classes include age- appropriate swim training, stroke mechanics, endurance training, and goal setting.

Cert if icat ions Swim Inst ruct or Training Gain the knowledge and apply the skills necessary to become a certified instructor during our Swim Instructor Training classes. Participants must be 16 years of age by the last day of class, have their certifications in CPR Pro, First Aid, AED & Oxygen Administration current. Additionally, be proficient in four strokes, tread water for two minutes, perform six synchronized swimming skills and a standing dive off the pool deck.

Lif eguard Cert if icat ion Ages 16 yrs+ Become a lifeguard at the Y and learn the necessary skills to save a life. Our four- day life guarding classes will teach you rescue skills, CPR/AED for adult, child and infant, and basic first aid skills. Applicants must be a minimum 16 years old by the last day of the attended class. Upon successful completion, participants will be certified in: - YMCA Lifeguard - CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer - Basic First Aid

Swim Programs Warm Wat er Therapy Open Swim Utilizing the Y's warm water therapy pool, this program has great benefits for people with arthritis, joint issues, or other ailments that sometimes prevent regular exercise. If you are unable to attend other water fitness classes, this open swim provides you with a new option for your fitness. Limited equipment will be provided and a lifeguard will be on duty during your time in the water. Mast er Swim Ages 18 yrs+ Designed for those just starting to swim for fitness or those competing at the highest levels in swimming events or triathlons. This year- round programs will provide expertly designed training programs and stroke mechanics instruction while helping individuals set goals to meet their personal training needs. Each workout will be modified for ability level.
