WHERE ADVENTURE HAPPENS The Y offers a fun, educational Day Camp program for all kids. Each day is full of excitement, from crafts and STEM activities to swimming and outdoor adventures; there’s always fun to be had at the Y’s Day Camp!

TRADITIONAL CAMPS? Traditional camps are ultra-spirited, fun-filled camps with weekly themes that guide activities and visits from special guests that bring an extra dose of fun to the Y! From animal experiences or talking to astronauts and magicians, there is always an adventure at the Y’s Day Camp!

SPECIALTY ADD-ON CAMPS? Does your child have a specific interest or hobby? Looking for a camp that specializes in sports or STEM? Browse through the specialty camps section for camps that combine the traditional fun of YMCA day camps with the more specialized skills by providers or YMCA experts. All staff must participate in our training program that includes but not limited to:

TRADITIONAL CAMPS TRADITIONAL CAMPS Take camper adventures to the next level this summer! Build self-confidence, meet new friends, and have a blast. Get a thrill from activities at the camp facility such as sports clinics, science experiments, or arts and crafts while exploring exciting weekly themes. From animal experiences to talking to astronauts and magicians, special guests bring excitement. Day campers will be divided into small groups by age, and will participate in activities appropriate to the interests and needs of their group.
Mystery, Maps, & Riddles June 7 – June 11 August 2 – August 6 That’s pretty sus. Get ready for a week of suspicion, suspense, and problem solving as we bring games to life with Among Us, escape rooms, and scavenger hunts.
Sharks & Minnows June 14 – June 18 Let’s dive in and explore! Campers will enjoy a week full of activities and water games in this ocean themed week. Groups will learn about ocean animals big and small, ocean conservation, and more.
Year In A Week July 5 – July 9 Trick or Treat, Happy Birthday! Waiting for your favorite holidays can take forever. So we decide to celebrate them all this week. Get your favorite costume and put on your birthday hat because this week will be awesome!
Critters & Crawlers July 12 – July 16 Calling all animal lovers! Get ready for a week full of fun activities revolving around animals and insects. Groups will get to have a week full of fun and have an exciting animal experience.
Frontier July 19 – July 23 There is gold in them hills! Come explore the history of the California frontier and the state’s unique geography. Our week of pioneer adventures will have gold rush themed fun and games!
Beyond The Stars July 26 – July 30 3-2-1 Blast off! We will shoot for the stars as we explore outer space. Groups will build rockets, learn about planets and stars with a NASA curriculum and through space-themed crafts and activities.
Under The Big Top June 21 – June 25 Come one, come all! The circus has come to town. Step right up and enjoy the fun with face painting, carnival games, popcorn and more this week will be full of circus magic!
Feel The Rhythm June 28 – July 2 I like to move it, move it! This week will focus on music and movement. Campers will explore dance through different classes, create instruments, and end the week with a dance party!

Browse this spectacularly amazing specialty section for camps with unique themes and activities offered through specialized providers or YMCA experts. Sports Camp Ages 5 – 14 • $40 Get your game face on! Campers experience a variety of sports throughout the week such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, or softball. Our camp staff will provide a fun and engaging camp environment to let your camper explore new sports and learn new skills.
Outdoor Survival Ages 8 – 14 • $50 Learn to survive and thrive in the outdoors! This outdoor survival camp will teach essential skills to keep campers self-reliant and safe in the wilderness. Our camp staff will spend the week teaching wilderness living skills and fun nature awareness activities.
Pokémon Camp Ages 7 – 14 • $40 Gotta catch ‘em all! Calling all Pokémon trainers. Campers can bring in all of their Pokémon Cards and will have the opportunity to battle their friends! Groups will enjoy Pokémon crafts and activities and are welcome to bring a device and play POGO.
Force Camp Ages 5 – 14 • $40 Awaken the force within. Our campers will have an out of the world experience as they learn how to become a Jedi Master! They will attend Jedi Training, where they will use the force to sharpen their agility, strength, and wisdom. Come find out if you have what it takes to be a Jedi!

Calling all mini foodies. Grab an apron and get in the kitchen! Join us as we turn your camper into a culinary expert. It’s an unforgettable week full of cooking, learning, baking, and fun!
Build a robot with a mechanical coding wheel at its heart. Campers will explore realworld concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture while building cool robots. Campers will also get to use their imagination to create their own LEGO structures and masterpieces.
Circus Camp Ages 5 – 14 • $60 You don’t have to run away to join our circus. Spend the week learning circus basics such as tumbling, unicycling, juggling, and balloon art. Campers can learn tricks and skills from trainers of the Great Y Circus®.
Y’s Got Talent Ages 8 – 14 • $50 Take to the stage in this theatre camp! Campers will experience the various aspects of theatre, and go through the many steps that go into creating a successful performance at any level of theatre.
Located in Angelus Oaks, Camp Edwards Family Camp offers traditional camp activities in a picturesque setting. Enjoy some quality bonding with your family during activities such as zip lining, rock climbing, & canoeing.

YOUTH PROGRAMS & SPORTS YOUTH PROGRAMS & SPORTS Let’s get active and have fun! Our programs empower young people, improve health and well-being, as well as provide support and inspire action in our communities today and every day. Explore our offerings below to discover new ways to connect to your purpose, potential, and each other. * Following the current social distancing guidelines set by the County Health Department, all Youth Sports will take place outside and with further safety precautions. Swim lessons are allowed to continue indoors.
Performing Arts The YMCA offers opportunities for creative expression through youth performing arts. Soar through the air, dance to your favorite tune, or learn a new talent like unicycling or juggling. Children will learn and grow with supportive coaches and teammates. Let your creativity shine at the YMCA! Performing Arts include: Kinder Gymnastics, Gymnastics I, Dance, Dance Acro, & Circus
Youth Sports YMCA of the East Valley offers a variety of youth sports for young athletes ages 3-17. Our youth sports programs use friendly competition as a way to unite young people around a shared goal and help them thrive as part of a team. Youth Sports include: Soccer, Volleyball, Flag Football, Youth Combo, Basketball, Street Hockey, & Martial Arts
Swim Lessons Learning to swim is a valuable life skill that offers the freedom to participate in aquatic activities while preventing the risk of drowning. YMCA-certified swim instructors teach water safety while encouraging youth to learn a variety of swim techniques. Give your child the opportunity to thrive both socially and physically with Y swim lessons. SAFETY AROUND
WATER For Ages 3–Adult
Safety Around Water teaches children of all ages and from all backgrounds that water should be fun, not feared, as long as you know how to stay safe in and around water.
Children learn fundamental water safety skills that include what to look for in a safe place to swim and how to swim a short distance on their front, roll over onto their back to rest, and then roll on their front to continue swimming to safety.
