The Caine Halter Family YMCA is the YMCA of Greenville’s downtown location. It features an indoor and outdoor pool, a state-of-the-art wellness facility, group exercise rooms, a functional training wing, dedicated cycle class space, and child watch space. The Caine Halter Family Y has youth and adult sports, after school and summer day camp child care programs as well as classes and programs for seniors.

The GHS Family Y serves families in the Golden Strip area of Simpsonville, Mauldin, Fountain Inn, and Southeast Greenville County. Members of this branch enjoy three locations.

The George I. Theisen Family Y serves Travelers Rest and northern Greenville County. It features a state-of-the-art wellness facility, group exercise, an outdoor walking trail, Mom’s Morning Out program, youth sports, after school and summer day camp programs.

The GHS Family Y, our 83,000 square foot flagship facility, is home to group exercise classes such as Zumba® and Body Combat, free weights and resistance training equipment, an indoor track, two regulation basketball courts, the Cardio Theater, a 25-meter outdoor pool, and the Nutrition Solutions cafe. Just down Highway 14 is the YMCA Program Center - GHS (formerly the Adams Mill Program Center). That location is home to our BeastModeTM program, after school and summer day camp, as well as youth and adult sports, aquatics, the Adventure Guide program, and the home office of the South Carolina Youth in Government program. And the GHS Y also oversees the Hollingsworth Outdoor Center, a unique outdoor space that sits on the historic Austin Plantation. VERDAE YMCA The Verdae Y focuses solely on the Y’s Healthy Living mission. The Verdae Y is dedicated space for working out with stateof-the-art cardio equipment, free weights, and other resistance training equipment. Children 6-15, plus families—all ages Offered: Hollingsworth Outdoor Center Juneteenth celebrates the Emancipation of the slaves in 1865. This holiday - recognized in 33 states, including South Carolina – will celebrate its 150th year. Participants can make a brick, craft a candle, make homemade ice cream, tour historic Oakland Plantation, listen to portrayals of historic figures from the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, and enjoy an “old timey” lunch of chicken, sweet potatoes, butter beans, okra, and watermelon. HERITAGE HELPERS AGES 13 - 21 Offered: Hollingsworth Outdoor Center Heritage helpers volunteer at the YMCA Hollingsworth Outdoor Center to complete meaningful outdoor projects—landscaping, painting, light construction, and cleaning—learning the importance of service to others and teamwork in the process. Wellness Works Let’s make it happen.

Wellness Works is a measurable, personalized wellness program available free to all YMCA members 13 and up. This transformative program includes a private fitness assessment with a Wellness Works coach, a custom fitness plan tailored to your goals, nutritional advisement and ongoing coaching as you track your progress. Want to trim your waistline? Train for a half-marathon? Get in shape for your grandkids? Wellness Works gives you the tools to set—and achieve—your fitness goals, no matter how big or small.

Motivation for every milestone.

Designed for members of all fitness levels, Wellness Works starts with an appointment to analyze your body composition, strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. Based on your results, the Wellness Works coach will recommend personalized exercise routines to strengthen your body and improve your overall health. We’ll help you track your progress along the way. Every 12 weeks, the program can be renewed as many times as you like: Just set some new goals and keep progressing!

New Impact is a partnership between GHS Children’s Hospital and the YMCA of Greenville for families of overweight and obese children. New Impact is a program that helps develop healthier eating habits and exercise behavior.

The one-year program is supervised by Greenville Health System pediatricians and includes a eight weeks of individualized sessions with a dietician and an exercise specialist. Psychological support is also provided to address emotional issues.

Two-day sessions Member rate: $56 Non-member rate: $96
