PREVENT & PROTECT LIFEGUARD | CPR TRAINING

The YMCA Lifeguard course prepares participants with the knowledge and skills needed to be a lifeguard.

This comprehensive course offers upto-date information on how to guard, anticipate and prevent potential hazards before they occur, and take action to help those in danger when necessary.

Age Requirement:

Those interested must be 16 years old to participate in the training.

This course also includes American Safety and Health Institute:

• CPR

• First Aid

• AED certifications

• ASHI Oxygen Administration when necessary.

We offer CPR/First Aid/Oxygen/AED classes for members and non-members through the American Safety and Health Institute.

We use a blended format, with a portion of the training on-line and a two-hour in-person session, which allows you to study at your own pace.
