Junior Masterchef Programme In this programme, students were educated on the importance of food hygiene. They were given space to exercise their own creativity through the making of their personalised food, such as the fruit satay. In this particular session, they were introduced to a wide variety of fruits and its nutritional values. This was an enjoyable and insightful activity for them as they broadened their understanding in the area of Food and Nutrition. The students making fruit satays, delicious and healthy!

Children’s Day Celebration To celebrate Children’s day, a mini party was hosted for the YCSCC students. The students were exposed to games enjoyed by children in the olden days and they actively took part in these games and quizzes. It was a new and memorable experience for the students.

Junior Robotics In October, the students took part in a hands-on activity, Junior Robotics, allowing them to transform into little engineers for the day. As they ventured into the world of science and robotics, they were able to build mini robots and various gadgets, which executed movements with the use of electricity. It was definitely a day filled with wonder and it certainly sparked interest among the students as they gained greater knowledge about this field of science. 2


Workshops by the PinkSchoolBus Junior BMT In light of SG50 and SAF50, the students took part in the Junior BMT camp, which exposed them to the lifestyle of soldiers defending Singapore. This included the experience of food rationing and even making of an artificial grenade. The outdoor activity allowed the students to be actively participating and learning about patriotism and military life.

Forensic Science- Crime Scene Investigation The students had the opportunity to undertake the investigation of a crime scene, giving them a realistic and thrilling encounter. They were introduced to various methods of retrieving evidence such as the use of chromatography and collecting delicate finger prints from the crime scene. Apart from gaining greater knowledge and insights about forensic science, they also learnt the importance of teamwork and 3 justice.

With the use of ipads, students are engaged in interactive yet informative games

The students had the opportunity to embark on the world’s very first MILO Discovery Tour. Through this exciting and educational journey, they witnessed the process of how MILO- their favourite beverage - is made. They also understood the importance of breakfast and sports through engaging and interactive digital activities. At the end of the tour, they were treated to a delicious milo drink.
