Y JUNIOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMME 2018 Our students participated several weeks in our Y Junior Entrepreneurship Programme 2018. They were taught about having an entrepreneurial mindset and skills to give back to society. On 24th March 2018, at the Sengkang South Little Entrepreneurs 2018, they had to sell, promote their items and raise funds for their school needy students. The entire project from planning, developing and marketing was done with minimal guidance from the mentors. 

CHORAL BEATS & Y SPORT STACKING

. Choral Beats brought out the musical talents in the students. Students were taught how to use cups and recycle materials to make music and instruments.

Students were totally engrossed our Signature Programme, Y Sport Stacking demonstration and were eager to practice with their hands.

Bollywood Veggies We went to Bollywood Veggies as part of our holiday programmes. We wanted our students to have an extra-ordinary outdoor fun time with experimental learning. Statistics have shown that experiential learning retention rate is 90% compared to traditional learning. The students get to touch, feel and even create their own pot of plant!

SANDWICH & SOAP MAKING WORKSHOPS The Sandwich Making Workshop was conducted to get students to be confident by doing it themselves. They took pride in their accomplishments. This will increase their self -esteem and allow them to be more comfortable in trying new things!

The Soap Making Workshop was to educate the students about personal hygiene. Most of the students enjoyed making their own soap because they get to bring it back with them to use!

SEED KINDNESS FUND JUNIOR 9 Kindness Ambassadors were nominated to do a project which can create an impact within the community. They have chosen to reach out to Pioneer Polyclinic healthcare personnel. Appreciation cards and board were given to express gratitude and appreciation to the daily heroes who never stop caring for fellow people of Singapore! Happy Nurses’ Day in Advance!
