2016 SECOND HALF ROUND-UP The much-anticipated picnic at Gardens by the Bay was a grand finale to the second half of the year’s activities and events for 2016. The expressions on the students’ faces above speak better than a thousand words. Whilst some activities were scheduled, some were not, but the Centre rose up to the occasion, in designing a condolence poster containing condolence messages on the passing of President Nathan, organising a parallel mini Centre Olympic to coincide with the Olympic Games held in Rio De Janeiro, designing a panel farewell message to outgoing Principal Ms Christina Teo. The Centre also raised about $143.20 donated to the school for financially needy school children through the Young Entrepreneurship Programme. Leaf Skeleton Bookmarks and Stress Balls were made to raise funds to inculcate values of responsibility, generosity and care. We would like to take this opportunity to thank parents for their gifts for Teachers’ Day and contributions to the Christmas pot-luck celebration. We look forward to working with parents and the school to make the Centre a better and more conducive environment for students to grow and learn in the coming 2017 year.
