Iyashi no Sato Japanese Village stands on the site of a former farming village on the western shores of Lake Saiko. The village was reconstructed and reopened as an open air museum and traditional craft village where visitors can immerse themselves in the culture. The area consists of over twenty houses that have been converted into shops, restaurants, museums and
galleries. The Fuji Kachoen Garden Park introduces you to over 30 varieties of feathered friends. The owl enclosure holds more than 100 owls, most of which are quite friendly to people! The park is also home to an extensive selection of over 10,000 begonias, fuchsias and hydrangeas. You can enjoy these blooming flowers all year around.
