Whilst your young person is studying at College they will be assigned a Progress Coach.
Progress Coaches work with our young people to:
-Have good attendance
-Meet college expectations
-Plan their progression aims
-Support their personal development
-Develop their own personal behaviours and attitudes, as well as understanding other people’s
-Be a part of the College and wider communities.
PROGRESS COACHES
Once per week, students meet their Progress Coach for group and one-to-one tutorials.
GROUP TUTORIALS:
Sessions cover current affairs, social responsibility and wider themes extending outside of the classroom.
ONE TO ONE SESSIONS:
Coaches will meet students to discuss attendance, expectations, personal development and progression. Coaches can signpost students to the wider Your Experience team in areas such as Learning Support, Wellbeing and Funding.
