Using the logo online

When using the logo online, the proper file fomat is either png or jpeg, RGB colour mode. The resolution of the logo is very important and the file should be sized to the maximum pixel resolution possible.

The logo should appear in its two-colour format on a white background whenever possible. The same rules regarding space around the logo appy online as they do in print (see page 9).

Futura can be used as a display font, but will need to be created and treated as a graphic. For the body copy you will need to use a generic html/web font. There are specific web fonts available, but the result depends on the fonts installed on the user end. The actual appearance will depend on the browser and the fonts installed on the system. Of the commonly used html/web fonts, Arial is closest to Futura and available on most browsers and operating systems.
