Developing Global Leaders — Billi Dray, Development Director

Page 1

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE AN IMPACT ... JOIN ME My job as Development Director is to take the burden of fundraising off of DGL students, so they can focus on ministry they are leading, their studies, leadership training and mentoring experience. We do not ask DGL’s to raise a penny to participate in the program. I am committed to finding their funding while they are committed to discipleship of new volunteer leaders and literally hundreds of teens. It is a true gift to serve DGL’s by connecting generous hearts to their mission. Will you Join me in making that possible? I am looking for 25 people to join my team as $50-$100 per month givers and a few more to give various amounts above that. Each gift is significant. The best part is anything committed above $30,000 will go to sponsor DGL students currently enrolled in the program. I need your help to make this huge kingdom impact.

BILLI’S STORY When a child is overlooked, my heart breaks. When a teenager with huge potential is forgotten, I can’t keep quiet. When a kid meets Jesus, I am overjoyed. When a group of adults catch a vision for helping these young people become all God made them to be, the Kingdom of God gets bigger and the world gets brighter. That is why after 10 years of starting Young Life/ YoungLives club in the U.S., I jumped into Young Life international. Developing Global Leaders is committed to helping young Christian leaders grow into their full God-given potential and in turn change their world! I am so thrilled to be a part of DGL!

DGL IS NOT A RESCUE MISSION FOR THE NEEDY. IT IS A KINGDOM IMPACT OPPORTUNITY! WHEN WE GET TO COME ALONGSIDE THE NEXT GENERATION OF HIGH-POTENTIAL, JESUSCENTERED LEADERS, FAMILIES, COMMUNITIES AND COUNTRIES ARE TRANSFORMED.

My role as development director for the DGL program is a key part in advocating for these future world changers by securing funding for current and future DGL students. My time is dedicated to creating relationships between generous people and students who they sponsor as well as creating new ways to get more students through the program. Will you join me on this journey? Will you invest a monthly gift? Your contribution will help send 150 DGL students through the program this year alone! I will keep you informed, connected and even take you along on trips to meet these incredible young leaders. God is doing something eternal and life-changing through this program. The timing could not be more critical in a world that has so many dark dangers threatening our youth. I believe my purpose in this role will be a small part of spreading the light of Christ to the world. Until Every Kid Hears, Billi Dray DGL Development Director
