EditorsLetter Hello and welcome to the May edition, May is the month that we celebrate all Mum’s and the great job we all do. In Kid’s Corner, page 27 this month there is a questionnaire for kids to fill in and give to mum. I myself, really enjoy looking back at some of the funny things that my boys have written about me over the years. We have a great selection of articles this month, that I hope you will enjoy reading. Parents of older children might find ‘When to check your kids’ on-line trail’, on page 18 useful. This month on page 20, we feature the first part of an article series, ‘Time to Create a Better Life’. On page 6, especially for the mum’s is ‘Mother’s Day Self Care Tips’. With the nice weather back, Hannah was out and about this month trying out another local park, this time in Lalor. Hannah and I love playing at the park together and I enjoy watching her grow and try new things - no matter how difficult! As always I hope you enjoy reading this edition as much as I have enjoyed putting it together for you. To keep up to date with what is happening in our fantastic community please like us on Facebook. h a n n a H h t i w Hanging Lalor Reserve Sydney Crescent, Lalor Over the Easter break, with the nice weather about Hannah ventured out to a local Lalor park - Lalor Reserve. Hannah had lots of fun playing on the various equipment - with 2 slides, 2 swings and a monkey bar to hang around on. She was kept very busy and entertained. New things that she was really interested in where the spy glass - looking for treasure and the tunnel - great for Peak-a-Boo! The park has a couple of tables and chairs great for a picnic, a BBQ (which is not under cover), there is a rotunda and a small bin. There are no public toilets, (except when footy games are on). For older kids there is a basket ball ring and a huge football oval to run around on and of course kick a footy. Hannah’s special p for this month is - don’t forget to pack a football so you can kick lots of goals!
