Making a Universal Credit claim a
Universal Credit can only be claimed online. To make a claim online you’ll need to have some information to hand. This includes: Your personal information
National Insurance number
Your email address
If you don’t have a National Insurance number you won’t be able to claim Universal Credit
Your phone number
Your housing information Your address
Your landlord’s address How much rent you are paying Your financial information Your bank Details of or building any savings society you have account details
Any salary or other income
