Our annual maintenance programme provides a range of services throughout the year. Customers who sign up for the programme will get the following services:

Pruning

Border maintenance

At Your Homes Newcastle (YHN), we are passionate about creating amazing places where people are proud to live. We recognise that your outdoor living space contributes a lot to this – it can be a place of tranquillity or a safe haven for your family to relax and play in - so it’s important that it’s well maintained. YHN’s Garden Care service offers a maintenance programme to enable to help you to enjoy your garden all year round. The cost is £8.82 per week, but this could be covered by some benefits. There are full details of what is covered by the annual maintenance programme on the next page.

Important information Garden access If you have a secure garden (e.g. with a locked gate) then please let us know so that we can contact you to arrange access on the date of our visit.

Adverse weather In the event of adverse weather conditions, we may need to reschedule your visit until conditions improve and work can be carried out.

Garden care service – what you need to know: • Fully qualified gardeners • Low-cost solution to improving and maintaining your outdoor space • 11 visits in 12 months • Visits take place every 4-6 weeks (weather dependent)

Changes to your contact information Please inform us of any changes in your contact details throughout the year by contacting our enquiry centre.

Re-enrolment & opting out If you wish to continue your subscription to our Garden Care service then you do not need to act, we will automatically re-enrol you onto the programme each year. You can cancel the service at any time subject to a 4 week notice period.

Pets For health & safety reasons, we politely request that pet dogs are kept inside for the duration of our visits.

Waste removal Animal foul, household waste and garden waste not created by the Garden Care team will not be removed and may jeopardise the visit.

• Seven visits March to October, four visits November to February • Cost may be covered under some benefits.
