Who are we? Workington Local Food is a local food growing project which aims to get those living in Moss Bay, Moorclose and Westfield involved in activities around the themes of food growing, horticulture, wildlife and healthy eating. Workington Local Food has a community garden which offers local people the opportunity to be involved in food growing, horticulture and cooking activities. We have 10 food growing plots, 4 group plots, 25 raised beds, an outdoor classroom and many more fantastic facilities to enable the local community to get the most out of using the site. Workington Local Food also hosts many events in community rooms around Moss Bay, Moorclose and Westfield as well as events on site.
