A NEW HOME FOR BLUEBERRY POP UP SHOP Blueberry Pop Up Shop has a new home on Rougier Street. Previously Society Bar, the shop sells upcycled furniture, gifts, jewellery, artwork and more. Blueberry Pop Up Shop is part of the Blueberry Academy, an organisation that supports people with learning disabilities and differences with employment and independent skills. The shop provides retail training for

people, enabling them to develop customer service and money handling skills. Many of the products on sale have also been made by Blueberry learners and team members. There’s also stock from York Disabled Workers Co-operative and Brunswick Organic Nursery. Blueberry Pop Up Shop, 1 Rougier Street, is open 10am-3pm, Monday to Saturday.
4th March, 6pm at Spark Join York Creatives for a drink, some street food and a chat on the first Friday of every month. The race is now on to find the new home for Great British Railways, with towns and cities across England, Wales and Scotland invited to apply before 16 March. Cities across the country with strong historical links to the railway are encouraged to explain why they should be the new home of GBR. And York is looking like a strong contender. City of York Council leader, Keith Aspden, said: “Our existing
