About Me I am eager to learn design. I love design. When I was in high school, I hoped to study graphics design; the reason for this is because from a young age I’ve always had a very high interest in art, advertising and graphics design. Everything that is around us has been designed and this has always fascinated me, I’ve wanted to be involved and a part of this. Luckily, I went in the department of creative design in NTUST to study in commercial design. Now, I work hard on lessons and try my best to learn how to design. Skills My strongest software experience is Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. However, because I have big enthusiasm on visual jockey, I also have some video making and editing skills. The video software experience is Aftereffect, Arena and Premiere. I also have some basic knowledge of HTML and CSS after I built some websites.

About Design A designer is also a translator. I love English. So I decided to double major in applied foreign languages. Then, I have a crush on translation. After I learned the English translation, I found that design is also a kind of translation. Design is a process translates feeling or text into visual. Graphic and color is the language of visual. If I really want to be a good visual translator, I know I have to have a lot of practice, experience and more observation of design. Why I want to apply for Pentagram internship? Leaning and curiosity are the main reasons. Pentagram is an amazing design studio. I know I can learn a lot which is especially not taught in school during the internship. The curiosity about how a big design studio work makes me really want to get this internship. Because we mostly do personal projects in school, I want understand the division of a big design case.

01 Menzo Featured on Packaging Served 01/03/2014 Featured on Student Show 18/02/2015 It is a man soap packaging which brand name is Menzo. The pronunciation of soap in Chinese is similar to "zo", so the brand name is Menzo. This brand only provides natural and organic soap for only man. In order to magnify the masculine, the shape of packaging is sharp, and the material is concrete. In addition, the wooden cover which is made of Taiwan cypress is to emphasize the brand origin country.

Mikl is milk brand has four different favors for four different targets. It provides high quality milk and sales in upscale supermarket, so I try my best to design them with the style of high grade and elegance.

03 Fomosazza Brand's name combines Formosa and Sazza.( Sazza is Taiwanese barbeque sauce. )It says that this brand provides the delicacy from Taiwan. To let western can quickly accept the products, the favor of these sauce are lighter than the traditional favor, so the design concept of this brand and package is Chinese and Western mixing.

I played trumpet in our school band when I was in high school. This is our Alumni Concert in summer vacation. It’s really special because its venue was at the highest farm in Taiwan, so I want poster can let audience have cool feeling.

It’s a special map manual for backpacker in Taipei. The biggest problem for western traveler is the complex spelling for each station, so I design the index. I also reduced the size of manual to let traveler can read it more conveniently.
