Our Smart Search process consists of six stages. Each step is performed in close partnership with your search committee and executive board. We will help your school: • Lay the groundwork for a successful search by establishing a timeline for the search, optimizing the search committee, and preparing a communications strategy. • Collaboratively define the opportunity and develop an ideal candidate profile which will be used to strategically market your school and the chance to lead it. • Implement strategic recruitment practices to attract the best candidates for the position. • Design and support a thorough and robust interview and smart selection process to identify the best candidate. • Create a fair and competitive compensation package to be offered to the finalist. • Design on-boarding structures that will ensure the new leader’s success in the first year and beyond.

PROGR AM STR U C TU R E : YUSP Leadership Coaching provides school leaders with weekly, hour-long coaching session with Jane Taubenfeld Cohen. The coaching process begins with establishing goals and identifying specific areas that you want or need to work on. Sessions are designed to help you problem solve and build your leadership capacity at the day-to-day level and through a “big picture” lens.

COMP R E H E N S I VE • WHAT IT IS PLCs reduce teachers’ feelings of isolation and strengthen their commitment by connecting them to meaningful resources and to each other. Through in-school training and remote coaching, YUSP will empower and train selected teachers to serve as PLC leaders. YUSP will meet with your school’s leadership team to set and revisit goals. We will serve as partners to plan communication to the full faculty and broader school community about implementation and progress. Mid- and end-of-year workshops will deepen the learning through cross-PLC sharing. • COST $4,900

TEACHER INDUCTION INVESTMENT PROGRAM (TIIP) SUPPORT ALL EDUCATORS THROUGH THE LENS OF NEW TEACHERS

TEACHERS LOVE IT because it brings opportunities to grow—no matter where they are in their careers. WE LOVE IT because it involves school faculty at every level—leaders, veteran teachers, and new teachers— to improve teaching and learning across the board.

• WHAT IT IS Our premier TIIP product offers a year-long investment to develop your new and veteran teachers through mentorship and cohort learning. YUSP engages with educators at every level to develop systems and practices that support new teachers and enhance all teachers’ ability to succeed. An intensive two-day workshop at the beginning of the year, weekly coaching calls with a school leader, and monthly teacher study groups provide the support and guidance needed to build a winning teacher culture. An additional two-day workshop at the end of the year enables educators to build on the first year’s success and plan effectively for the future. • COST $14,250

• WHAT IT IS At this level, schools will build the capacity of new and veteran teachers through mentorship and cohort learning. YUSP will provide an intensive two-day workshop at the beginning of the year, weekly coaching calls with a school leader, and monthly teacher study groups. End-of-year reflection and planning will be conducted by school leaders. • COST $10,250

• WHAT IT IS Get started with a plan for new teacher support. A one-day workshop for a small group of teachers will provide introductory mentor training.
