Zarah, a monthly published magazine, is available online and in print. It was established to be the voice of the Arab-American community. The word Zarah is derived from the Arabic word “Zahra,” or red rose. It is primarily, historically, and universally a symbol of a true love, growth, and beauty. A red rose has been represented in many great human works: paintings, photography, music and poetry, making us believe that Zarah would be the most appropriate name for our magazine. Zarah is our way to say to the community we serve, “we strongly love you.” Meanwhile, the name depicts our ambitious and precise mission, which is ideally to inspire our community to engage fully and positively within their new environment, while maintaining attachment to the culture left behind.

Zarah aims at being an intellectual hub where our community can express its needs, opinions, and thoughts not only for their new country but also their country of origin.

In addition, they can mutually interact, know each other, exchange ideas and share experiences.

Because of its unique nature as a bilingual magazine using both standard Arabic and English as a means of communication, Zarah can easily reach numerous diverse readers in Boston and beyond. Zarah’s content is promising, diverse and inspiring. The reader will have a chance to meet members of our community through their inspiring stories in the host country. Articles about business, society, politics, health, arts, literature and more are provided in order to make us learn, think, engage and share.

Zarah definitely is a result of the efforts made by committed, diverse, hard-working, caring and friendly members of our community. Your feedback, which is welcomed, would make it more typical and distinguished. So, please feel free to be a part of the mission through your engagement and support. We welcome any clarifications, proposals and constructive criticism.

News & Events The Community at Large Stands against Hate On Friday, February 27th, 2015 Al-Huda Society hosted a community forum in Chelsea, MA with local law enforcement and faith leaders to condemn the threatening anti-Muslim notes that were found in Revere last week. The meeting was an opportunity to assess, identify and address the concerns of different members of the community.

A Brief Report on “Malden Reads”

Malden Reads asks the question, what if everyone in Malden read the same book? It is a yearly community reading event put on by the Malden Public Library in association with city hall and several cultural organizations, with the goal of bringing together Malden’s diverse groups of people. This year, the event took place in the Malden Public Library on Thursday, February 19th, 2015 for the fourth time. The American Association for Arab Women has been participating since the event’s inception. Last year, for example, the AAAW promoted three women leaders from the Arab world: Aicha Ech-Chenna from Morocco, Nawal El Saadawi from Egypt, and Ahlam Mostaghanemi from Algeria.

This year’s subject was the diversity of languages, spoken and written.

Various groups of people presented their languages, such as Chinese calligraphy. The AAAW presented Arabic calligraphy, including a demonstration by a Saudi student. Their table was particularly popular as it was for many people their first time interacting with written Arabic.

The event was attended by Malden mayor Gary Christenson and Malden state representative Steve Ultrino, as well as many other city officials.

On February 24th. officers from the Revere Police Department and members of the community came together for an informal coffee and chat at McDonald’s restaurant at 339 Squire Road. The purpose of the meeting was to provide the people of Revere with a unique opportunity to ask questions and also to get to know, on an informal level, the members of Revere Police Department.

The “Coffee with a Cop” was a great success. The founder of Zarah Magazine, Rachid Moukhabir, had an opportunity to speak with Chief Cafarelli about the recent anti-Muslim signs calling for the murder of Muslims. Chief Cafarelli strongly condemned these despicable signs saying they “will not be tolerated. Not on my watch.” He further stated that the investigation is ongoing and those responsible will be prosecuted to “the fullest extent of the law.”

Mr. Moukhabir asked Chief Cafarelli if he would make a video which he quickly agreed on. In this video, he reiterated all of the above comments. Chief Cafarelli’s statment has been shared via Zarah Magazine’ s social media platform. At the end, Mr. Moukhabir expressed the gratitude of the entire Arab American community for the quick and thorough response of Revere Police Department, Chief Cafarelli, and Mayor Rizzo.

Politics Mayor Walsh Hosts the Ethnic Media Roundtable of the magazine and has developed a close relationship with us. There were also representatives from the following ethnic media groups: El Planeta (Hispanic),The Irish Immigrant, The China Press, The Polish Biweekly Newspaper, Info Haiti, Sampan Bilingual Chinese and English Newspaper, Boston Korea, Univision Spanish Television, El Mundo Spanish Newspaper, and Zarah Magazine, The Voice of the Arab American community.

On February 4th, 2015, the Mayor of Boston, Martin J. Walsh, held a Mayor Walsh surprised everyone by meeting entitled “An Ethnic Media telling the group that he was proud Roundtable.” The word media in the title of this meeting is the key to understanding who the people who were invited to the roundtable.

Many of these ethnic groups have newspapers, radio and TV stations, as well as magazines. The most important function of these media outlets, according to Mayor Walsh, is to act as a conduit to give information to all the diverse groups in the city.

We at Zarah Magazine were proud that we were the only Arabic media organization invited to attend. Mayor Walsh was featured in our first edition

to be a first-generation immigrant from Ireland. His parents came to America in the mid-fifties. It is clear that this fact has given the mayor sensitivity for all immigrants. He said, “We have a place in city hall for people who are immigrants whatever their issues may be.” It may be this attitude which explains why Mayor Walsh is such a strong supporter of President O’Bama’s Deferred Action for Children Arrivals. In fact, a clinic was conducted at City Hall on February 26th to discuss this initiative. All the criteria were explained in order to apply for DACA, a term used to shorten the deferred action plan. There is also a

DAPA program involving parents for which there may be another clinic in the future. It is important to keep in mind that these are federal programs and not limited to only the state and city.

We look forward to the next meeting and hope to get more information on the Immigrant Integration and Empowerment Project. Remember what Mayor Walsh said: “What makes Boston so unique is there are so many pockets of diversity.” It is comforting to hear these words from our mayor.

Jabrane & Fenaoui: A Designer Perfume Brand Established by a Moroccan Entrepreneur products with a Moroccan label. I humbly tried to simply highlight some special moments in the Moroccan daily life. Sharing a cup of tea with family and being grateful about life is just one example.

My name is Abdelghafour Fenaoui, founder of Jabrane & Fenaoui fragrances. I came from a humble Moroccan family and I lived in France and the United States, before settling in Canada. I was in the science and biochemistry programs in university. I have also worked in the service and health/beauty sectors for many years. In 2010, I gambled my savings to start a fragrance company with the Persian/Arabic art in North America.

Many people advised me against my initiative. They say that I could have invested my savings in some safer projects like real estate. Their reaction in the context of the current reality of Arabs and Muslims is very understandable.

My fragrances are unique because they have been designed to tell the story of our lives in Morocco from our perspective. The brand that carries my name is a testament that no one is able to speak about our Moroccan experience better than our selves. My personal story is very similar to the journey of many Moroccan immigrants. I do also love design and art, particularly Persian/Arabic calligraphy. I always wanted to have my own company but I did not know what type of business I would invest in. I finally found my calling in the fragrance business because it fulfilled all the things I am passionate about; moreover, it integrates all the knowledge that I have accumulated.

I also surround myself with many talented professionals to compensate for the skills that I lack.

I even got the attention of some prestigious magazines and we are listed on Fragrantica among powerful brands.

People who have discovered my products are repeatedly buying our fragrances. I am also very happy to tell many younger people of Moroccan heritage that they can also start their own company in any field they are passionate about and they can put their names on it as well.

Law Landlord Tenant Common Law: Definitions, Rights and Responsibilities (Part 2)

Picking up where we left off in our February issue, in this second part I will touch on the nature of the landlord-tenant relationship, leases or property rentals, as well as the different types of tenancies.

Said relationship is a binding and contractual one between the service provider, i.e the landlord, and the consumer, the renter. It typically starts with the signing of the lease or the actual occupancy of the property, which ever takes place first. A normal rental is either annual, semi-annual or month-tomonth, and the amount of rent may be different for long-term renters.

Leaving or “breaking” a long-term lease before its expiration could result in stiff penalties, sometimes the cost of the entire agreed period.

A typical lease agreement will specifically state a beginning and an ending date for the lease. This is why there’s normally no need for the renter to give a “notice to vacate” to the landlord, unless a new mutual agreement has been reached.

Depending on the state, leases can run for months or years, some even for very long periods of time (several decades).

Tenancies may be classified under four basic categories: Estate for Years, Periodic Tenancy, Tenancy at 8 | Zarah Magazine | March 2015

Will and Tenancy at Sufferance.

Estate for years: An estate is any real estate possession or any piece of land or property, typically a large house or building on a tract of land. In real estate jargon, the estate for years, or estate for term has to do with a lease that may last for years with no maximum duration, although it may, at times, be for less than a year.

It cannot be terminated before its expiration unless both landlord and tenant agree. That’s why no notice is required to terminate in this type of tenancy.

Periodic Tenancy may go from week-to-week or month-to-month or year-to-year, with the length of the tenancy period normally determining the term of the payment and cost of rent. It is a tenancy that automatically renews from one period to the next, unless a valid termination notice by either party is presented. Typically, most state housing laws require no more than thirty days’ notice for this kind of tenancy.

Tenancy at will is a tenancy in which either party, i.e the landlord or the tenant, may terminate at any time for any reason, usually after giving a notice, without being penalized.

A typical arrangement for tenancy at will is “first and last month’s rent” plus a security deposit. Depending on the tenant’s credit standing, some landlords may require an additional monetary collateral or deposit.

Tenancy at sufferance: As the name insinuates, it is a tenancy that occurs when a tenant still retains a property even after the lease has expired, and often times, until the landlord acts to eject him or her forcefully from the property. Landlords usually

call this type of tenancy a holdover tenancy and consider the tenant a trespasser on their property, thus rendering the tenancy insubstantial.

It is noteworthy that it is not simple to evict anyone. In many places it is illegal to even change locks on doors or remove personal belongings without a court order. The process can be lengthy and exhausting but landlords will normally have the legal prerogative to demand that the damages be doubled or even tripled and all court fees be paid to the last cent.

Opinion When Will We All Learn to Get Along?

By Bill Jackson There are those who say that the despicable signs posted on Shirley Avenue about the Muslim faith are a disgrace to the people of Revere. This is absolutely not true. This act was no way representative of the people of our city.

Rather, this hateful act was committed by aNouh very small number, perhaps one, By: Anajjar who fail to understand what our country stands for. They don’t know or don’t care what the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution say, and therefore are not familiar with the words “all men are created equal” nor do they accept a basic foundation of our country that we all have the freedom to practice which religion we choose.

Speaking of religion, those of us who are Christians are familiar with the teaching to “love thy neighbor.” It does not say “love thy neighbor unless your neighbor is Hindu or Buddhist or Jewish or Muslim.” I wonder how many who are reading this have ever been the victims of prejudice? If they have how could they inflict prejudice on others? When my parents moved to Needham in 1942 one of the neighbors told my father that if he had known that Irish Catholics with seven children were moving in he would have bought the house to keep us out.

Not long ago the parent of a student in the Revere public schools accused the school of teaching the Muslim religion to his child. He did not wait to speak to school authorities. Instead, he called Boston T.V. channel 7 and this lie spread all over the country. Representing Zarah Magazine, the Voice of the Arab American community, I interviewed Dr. Dakin, Superintendent of Revere Public 10 | Zarah Magazine | March 2015

Schools, about this matter. He made it perfectly clear that this was false. He sent letters to the parents explaining that religions were taught only in the context of world history. Dr. Dakin spent hours on the phone answering questions from all over the country about this issue. His response to the absurd charge stopped the problem cold. I also interviewed Mayor Rizzo about the complaint and he fully supported Dr. Dakin’s actions.

Furthermore, I am unhappy with President Obama for doing nothing to stop ISIS. ISIS had a great victory right here in Revere. However, the racist who put out those signs gave ISIS a great victory.

They wanted to see us turning against each other here in America. The truth is that there was no such victory in Revere.

The people of Revere were outraged against those signs and were united not separated in condemning them.

I would like to close this editorial by quoting President John F. Kennedy’s Commencement Address at American University in Washington on Monday, June 10th, 1963 shortly before he was killed. He had just signed the first nuclear test ban treaty with the Soviet Union, now called Russia. This is what he said “In the final analysis our most common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breath the same air. We all cherish our children’s futures. And we are all mortal.”

Ethnomusicologist.

Your educational background, a B.A. from Tufts and a Phd. from the University of Chicago, would leave one wondering how you became interested in ethnomusicology and in fact are an Associate Professor in this field. Please define what ethnomusicology is and how you initially became interested in it.

Ethnomusicologists have spent a great deal of energy trying to define just what ethnomusicology is, and no single definition is able to capture fully the diversity of approaches, methodologies, subject matter, and institutional activities of ethnomusicology. Broadly speaking, however, we can say that ethnomusicology is an academic field of study devoted to the study of music in its cultural context, with a particular emphasis on fieldworkbased research methods. The most important premise of the field is that we study musical cultures on their own terms, seeking to understand musical and cultural aesthetics, concepts, and practices that may be very different from the music cultures of our own society. It is often associated with the study of non-Western music, and, indeed, when the field was first established in the 1950s one of the main reasons was the lack of such musics in universities where Western art music dominated the curriculum. However, ethnomusicologists see all the world’s music as viable subjects of study, and many of us define our activities not in terms of subject matter, but in terms of methodology: we emphasize

Saharans in North Africa were forcibly taken and sold as slaves. Once in North Africa, they formed a network of communal houses where they were able to find others who spoke their language and were able to maintain their musical traditions, which, by the way, were also in high demand by Arab North Africans, who believed that sub-Saharans had particular efficacy in healing through music. This music, which is known as gnawa in Morocco, diwan in Algeria, sambani in Libya, and stambeli in Tunisia, differs from other North African traditions in several ways. The main instrument is a threestringed lute, called gimbri or gumbri, that has clear sub-Saharan origins. This instrument is accompanied by a number of musicians who sing and play large handheld metal clappers called shqashiq or qraqib. The origins of this instrument are less clear, but we know that they are the product of long-term transSaharan cultural exchange. The words to the songs are also unique in that they combine local dialectical Arabic with phrases in sub-Saharan languages such as Hausa, Songhay, and Bambara.

You authored a book entitled “Stambeli: Music, Trance, and Alterity in Tunisia.”

Obviously the word trance in the title is very intriguing. Please describe in detail the connection between the music of Tunisia and “trance”.

There is a variety of musically conditioned trance states in North Africa. The idea is that music, accompanied by physical movements such as dance, and often the intervention of unseen entities such as spirits or saints, produces an altered state of consciousness. These altered states may have tremendous therapeutic value to people suffering from a variety of psychological or physiological ailments understood to be the result of spirit possession. They may also enable trancers to that test the limits of the human body, enabling them to perform acts (such as dancing with fire, rolling on cacti, or ingesting glass or nails) that they would otherwise be unable to do in a normal state of consciousness. Not everyone can attain such deep trance states; trancers are understood to have been chosen by a higher power and

are viewed with awe by many. Not all trance states are this dramatic or this exclusive, however. Some Sufi orders use chanting and song to reach higher states of consciousness without dancing, and there is a widespread phenomenon across the Arab world called tarab, which is a kind of heightened state of consciousness, associated with nonreligious contexts, that can be produced by highly focused listening to traditional Arab music.

Having travelled throughout many Arab countries have you found that although the people have the Muslim faith in common there are enormous differences in customs, traditions, music, and male female relations? If so, what are they?

The Arab world is sometimes characterized as having many “topdown” cultural commonalities that complement a “bottom-up” cultural diversity. The “top-down” commonalities shared by many Arab countries result from the widespread adoption of the Islamic faith, as well as shared histories as part of the Islamic Empire and later the Ottoman Empire, and the experience of European colonialism. So there are many cultural referents, such as the Qur’an and other religious sources, forms of Arabic poetry such as the qasida or muwashshah, and musical practices and instruments that are common to most Arab countries.

Yet there are differences among different parts of the Arab world owing to geographic location and sociopolitical histories. So while the Arabic language of the Qur’an is standard throughout the region, the everyday Arabic that is spoken differs from country to country, and even within a country. For example, the Arabic of a Moroccan and a Lebanese speaker, while sharing some similarities, are different enough that the speakers may resort to a formalized and typically non-spoken register of Arabic, or even third language, such as French, to converse. Traditional Arab music is similar: while many of the elements are mutually intelligible across national borders, the performance practices and styles may be very different. While the rise of the Internet and other technologies have improved musicians’ access to neighboring musical styles,

it also sharpens their awareness of the unique or peculiar characteristics of their own traditions. So, the traditions may have many family resemblances, but each is unique to some degree.

Since Zarah is a magazine for the Arab American community, I thought I’d ask: what is the state of relations between ethnomusicology and the Arab American community?

Arab music is a growing area of specialization in the field of ethnomusicology. In the United States, we have college professors who specialize in the music cultures of countries such as Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia, as well as Arab American music. Many colleges have Arab music ensembles that not only teach Arab music to students, but also involve local Arab Americans who bring their expertise to the ensembles and create important links between universities and the Arab American community.

We have one such group at Tufts, which gives free concerts twice a year. It is led by Kareem Roustom, a highly accomplished Syrian American musician and composer. One of the most influential figures in the field is Professor Ali Jihad Racy at the University of California at Los Angeles.

As an ethnomusicologist, he has written many influential pieces of scholarship and has led a very influential ensemble at UCLA that has served as a model for many of his former students—who are now professors—to start Arab music ensembles and integrate Arab music into programs at the colleges where they teach. This is the case for Professor Anne Rasmussen at the College of William and Mary in Virginia, who is now President-Elect of the Society for Ethnomusicology. The Society for Ethnomusicology also has a special interest group called the Society for Arab Music Research, which brings together faculty and students interested in Arab music. So there is a strong and growing presence of Arab music in American ethnomusicology.

Boston Confronted the Worst Blizzards on Record park their cars? Cars were actually buried in snow and could not be seen. Fire hydrants were buried leaving the firemen unable to see them.

For 18 days Bostonians experienced what is popularly labelled as the “Great Blizzard of 2015”. Officially, this historically incomparable epic storm has set a new record for the amount of snow which fell on Boston. Close to 8 feet of snow fell on the city in only three weeks.

The ability of the people of Boston to travel on all means of public transportation stopped. Governor Baker and Mayor Walsh issued parking and travel bans in order to give the Department of Public Works the ability to plow the streets.

Schools were shut down for over a week. A “State of Emergency” was declared for the entire Commonwealth. Only essential emergency and medical personnel were allowed on the streets in order to aid and assist those who needed help.

The snow kept falling. The high winds caused the snow to drift into very high piles, in some cases over 10 feet high. Due to the storms Boston’s transit system, the first and oldest in the country came to 14 | Zarah Magazine | March 2015

a complete stop. Even the railroad systems going out to the suburbs were not operating. Beverly A. Scott resigned as general manager of the MBTA having been incapable of dealing with the overwhelming problems and extreme conditions and mounting consequences of the catastrophe chief among them the ability to get to work or go shopping for food. She could not handle the stress of being asked every day “what are you going to do about this?” In fairness to her it is doubtful that any one person could possibly handle the mounting complaints of the people of Boston.

Residents came to the point that they could not take it anymore.

Part of that was due to “cabin fever,” being trapped in their homes. The city was doing the best it could.

City streets could barely handle one lane of traffic. Plowing trucks and other sophisticated equipment went everywhere, large streets and small streets. It was the small streets that were left unplowed that upset the people the most. Where could they

Stores, restaurants, and other businesses lost untold thousands of dollars. The heavy snow on rooftops caused roofs to collapse. In one case, the roof over a horse barn collapsed killing several horses. “It has been a nightmare” one Southie resident told Zarah Magazine reporters. This was after he had a fight with a neighbor over whose parking place was whose. This kind of thing is famous in South Boston but nothing close to these storms ever happened. The biggest problem was where to put the snow.

In a press conference held about the storms, Governor Charlie Baker told reporters that people should have been allowed to go out on the Saturday night of Valentine’s Day. This is a day when guys want to take their girlfriends out as well as husbands and their wives. The only stipulation was that everyone should be home by midnight.

Eventually the subways, buses and trains came back on line. Stores opened. Businesses finally had employees back at work. Schools reopened. The City of Boston had at least a thirty million dollar debt and possibly much more. There was one thing that everyone had. A tale to tell future generations about THE BLIZZARDS OF 2015.

Sports Why Hasn’t Soccer Taken Off in America? (Part 2)

In last month’s issue, in discussing why soccer hasn’t been successful in the U.S., as it has in most of the world, I cited five major reasons that stymie any efforts aimed at developing it in the United States: 1. Soccer not being an American sport 2. The existence of several other popular and wellestablished sports 3. The paucity of action, i.e. there’s a lot of movement but hardly any action or goals in any given soccer match 4. The scanty media exposure 5. The stigma that hangs over the sport: Soccer continues to be regarded as a kids’ sport. As if these motives are not enough, there actually are several other reasons for the sluggish progress of soccer in the U.S. First of all, soccer in the US could have been served better had we seen a few American soccer players reach world-level stardom or acclaim. While we have had a few really good players such as Mia Ham (women’s US soccer team) and Landon Donovan, they just aren’t a match to the likes 16 | Zarah Magazine | March 2015 | Zarah Magazine | March 2015

of Cristiano Ronaldo, Zidane, Messi or even Frank Ribery. In fact, most Americans couldn’t name a single player in US soccer history if you asked them!

For the US to have some of the most loyal soccer fans in the world is one thing; however, to keep these fans excited for a sport the world competition of which occurs only once every four years, is quite another thing. To add the proverbial insult to injury, the participation in the world cup is not even automatic.

Another discouraging element is the shortage in franchises around the country, which may be the reason behind the lack of success of the MLS (Major League Soccer). The American public doesn’t seem to want to warm up to a game that is not backed up by a lot of advertisement or soccer players who are dedicated to promoting their sport.

In soccer, strong national soccer championships tend to produce first-

rate national teams. Although the US soccer team has had a couple of decent showings in the last World Cup competitions, MLS has not been able to provide the national team with world players who could actually win a world title. It’s simply hard for Americans who are obsessed with winning, to get into a sport where they are usually seen as the underdog in world competitions.

Finally, soccer is hardly noticeable in the US, and apart from certain urban areas in the country, it is as though it were non-existent. Although the game has been around for hundreds of years in America, it is still kind of new to Americans. Unless Americans start to live and breathe this game as they do football and baseball and so long as we still see lush soccer fields standing empty everywhere, soccer will essentially remain what it is now, a childhood memory.

‫عىل الرغم من أن فن «كناوة» مل يحقق بعد لنفسه‬ ‫االكتفاء املعريف الالزم‪ ،‬لدى املتلقي والباحث‪ ،‬ومل يتحقق‬ ‫بعد ذلك الرتاكم العلمي الكايف واملؤسس‪ ،‬فلعل يف التقائها‬ ‫ما يكون دافعا للتقدم بنظرة نقدية تزيل اعتبارات‬ ‫الدونية يف التعامل مع املوروث الفني املغريب‪ .‬بحيث‬ ‫ثم التعامل إىل حد اآلن مع موضوع «فن كناوة»‪ ،‬خاصة‬ ‫النسايئ منه‪ ،‬بكثري من االغرتاب عن طبيعة وتاريخ ومسار‬ ‫هذا الفن‪ ،‬واكتفت عدد من القراءات مبحاكاة بعض‬ ‫الكتابات واألبحاث األجنبية التي مل يكن يهمها يف «كناوة»‬ ‫سوى شحنته‪ ،‬التي تثري فضول سائحي الثقافة‪ ،‬ولبس هذا‬ ‫الفن بذلك الطابع امليثولوجي الذي غطى عىل عدد من‬ ‫األسئلة املؤسسة للفهم والتحليل والدراسة‪.‬‬ ‫ويأيت هذا الفن الفريد‪ ،‬بإنشغال نسائه بطقوسية شادة‬ ‫يف الشكل واملعنى‪ ،‬تتقاطع فيه عوامل من مرجعيات‬ ‫انرثبولوجية مختلفة يف حضور األلوان واألباخري‪ ،‬ووسائل‬ ‫تزيني الشكل واآلالت‪ ،‬وما يرافق كل هذا يف ما يسمونه‬ ‫«بالليلة الكناوية»‪ ،‬وهي األم يف مكونات هذا الفن وأيضا‬ ‫لحظة الفرجة الطقوسية املغناة واملمرسحة‪ ،‬بكل امتياز‬ ‫لدى نساء املنطقة‪ ،‬حيث تنقسم إىل عدة عتبات طقوسية‪،‬‬ ‫بدءا مبا يسمى ب»العادة»‪،‬وهو استعراض احتفايل‬ ‫وإعالين لبداية الليلة‪ ،‬ويقترص أداؤه موسيقيا بآلة الطبول‬ ‫والقراقب الحديدية‪ ،‬حتى تبقى هذه الليلة ركنا جامليا‬ ‫تنتهي فيه كل متظهرات فن «كناوة» النسايئ‪ ،‬واملؤسس‬ ‫دون تأثريات املحيط‪ ،‬ونعني بذلك الهوية والخصوصية‬ ‫املغربية التي اندمجن فيها هؤالء النساء ولعبوا فيها أدوارا‬ ‫مهمة بإغنائها واالعرتاف منها‪.‬‬

‫تعترب القالدات الكبرية رائجة جداً خاصة يف موسم فصل‬ ‫الربيع‪ ،‬هي سهلة التنسيق مع الثياب وتضفي تلقائياً رونقاً‬ ‫وجامالً عىل إطاللة السيدات‪.‬‬

‫ال بد للعناية بصحة األظافر من العناية بالتغذية الجيدة‬ ‫ألنه ‪ ،‬كام سبق التوضيح ‪ ،‬يؤدى سوء أو نقص التغذية‬ ‫إىل ضعف الصحة العامة مبا يف ذلك صحة األظافر‪ .‬كام‬ ‫يجب عالج هذا الضعف أو األنيميا بالفيتامينات واملعادن‬ ‫الالزمة‪ ..‬واإلقبال عىل تناول املأكوالت الغنية بالحديد مثل‬ ‫السبانخ والكبدة والبيض والبطاطس والخرضاوات واللحوم‪.‬‬

‫ولكن كيف تختارين القالدة املناسبة؟‬

‫كام يجب مراعاة اآليت ‪:‬‬

‫‪ -1‬اختاري القالدات عىل شكل أطواق‪ ،‬أي تلك التي تأيت‬ ‫ض ّيقة عىل الرقبة واختاريها بسالسل حديديّة مل ّونة‪،‬‬ ‫وضعيها مع الفساتني العارية الكتفني أو إلضفاء ملسة من‬ ‫أسلوب الروك حيث ترتدين رسواالً من الجينز وقميصاً‬ ‫فضفاضاً وحذاء يصل حدّ الكاحل‪.‬‬

‫ عدم استعامل املانيكري بكرثة ألن كرثة ‪ .‬تجنبي تنظيف‬‫أو تقليم األظافر وهي مبلة ألن ذلك يعرضها للتقصف‪.‬‬

‫قمة البيت األبيض‪ :‬دعوة لتبني أجندة شاملة‬ ‫لمحاربة اإلرهاب حول العالم‬

‫شهدت العاصمة اإلماراتية أبوظبي األسبوع املايض‬ ‫تحليق أول طائرة يف العامل تعمل بالطاقة الشمسية‪.‬‬ ‫وانطلقت الطائرة (سوالر إمبلس ‪ )2‬يف رحلتني‬ ‫تجريبيتني ضمن سلسة رحالت جوية ستقوم‬ ‫بها الطائرة يف سامء العاصمة أبوظبي قبيل بدء‬ ‫رحلتها التاريخية املرتقبة حول العامل الشهر املقبل‪،‬‬ ‫باالعتامد عىل الطاقة الشمسية دون استخدام قطرة‬ ‫وقود واحدة‪ .‬وحلقت الطائرة املبتكرة ملدة ثالث‬ ‫ساعات يف رحلتها التجريبية األوىل‪ ،‬الختبار أداءها‬ ‫يف الجو‪“ ،‬لتأيت النتائج وفقا للتوقعات واالختبارات‬ ‫االفرتاضية”‪.‬‬ ‫مجلة زهرة ‪ -‬واشنطن‬ ‫اجتمع رؤساء وممثلون من ستني دولة نهاية األسبوع‬ ‫املايض‪ ،‬يف قمة دعا لها البيت األبيض لتشكيل « تحالف‬ ‫دويل ملواجهة التطرف العنيف»‪ ،‬يف فرتة طالت فيها‬ ‫الهجامت اإلرهابية العديد من الدول‪.‬‬ ‫ومتحورت هذه القمة‪ ،‬حول بحث طرق مكافحة من‬ ‫يلهمون األفراد أو الجامعات ويحولونهم إىل متطرفني‬ ‫وميولونهم الرتكاب أعامل متطرفة عنيفة‪.‬‬ ‫وقال نائب الرئيس األمرييك جو بايدن مفتتحا جلسات‬ ‫القمة يف مبنى ملحق بالبيت األبيض «نحتاج إىل ردود‬ ‫تتجاوز املستوى العسكري‪ ،‬تتجاوز القوة»‪.‬‬ ‫واعترب بايدن أن تقليد الواليات املتحدة باستيعاب‬ ‫املهاجرين قد يكون أحد أسباب تجنيب البالد هجامت‬ ‫مثل تلك التي رضبت الدمنارك وفرنسا وبلجيكا وكذلك‬ ‫كندا وأسرتاليا‪.‬‬ ‫وتستند هذه القمة عىل االسرتاتيجية التي أعلن عنها‬ ‫البيت األبيض يف غشت ‪ 2011‬املسامة «متكني الرشكاء‬ ‫املحليني ملنع التطرف العنيف»‪ ،‬والتي تعترب أول‬ ‫اسرتاتيجية وطنية ملنع التطرف العنيف يف الواليات‬ ‫املتحدة‪.‬‬ ‫ونظم عدد من مجموعات التفكري األمريكية ومراكز‬ ‫األبحاث‪ ،‬عىل هامش القمة‪ ،‬لقاءات موازية مرتبطة‬ ‫باملوضوع الرئييس‪ ،‬خاصة دور املرأة والشباب يف منع‬ ‫ومكافحة التطرف العنيف‪ ،‬والتسامح بني الطوائف عرب‬ ‫الرتبية الدينية‪ ،‬ومساهمة البحوث والدروس املستخلصة‬ ‫من الجهود املبذولة ملكافحة التطرف العنيف‪ ،‬وإعادة‬ ‫تأهيل وإدماج املقاتلني اإلرهابيني األجانب‪.‬‬ ‫ويف اليوم األخري لقمة البيت األبيض‪ ,‬ألقى الرئيس‬ ‫األمرييك» باراك أوباما»‪ ,‬كلمة أثناء اختتام القمة ليذكر‬ ‫قادة العامل أن الجميع األن يعاين من خطر اإلرهاب‪.‬‬ ‫وأضاف أوباما أن اإلرهاب يتغذى عىل انعدام حقوق‬ ‫اإلنسان‪ ,‬ومن جهته نفى زير الداخلية الفرنيس «برنار‬

‫كازنوف» أن الغرب يف حرب ضد اإلسالم واملسلمني‪ ,‬كام‬ ‫نفى وزير الداخلية الفرنيس أن يكون الغرب يف حرب‬ ‫ضد اإلسالم واملسلمني‪.‬‬ ‫ويف نفس السياق أكد وزير الخارجية األردين «نارص‬ ‫جودة» عىل رضورة اتخاذ إجراءات ملحارصة التشدد‪،‬‬ ‫أهمها مراقبة اإلنرتنت‪.‬‬ ‫وذكر البيت األبيض يف بيان أصدره يف ختام القمة‪ ،‬أن‬ ‫التطرف العنيف مثل اإلرهاب ال ينبغي أن يرتبط باي‬ ‫دين او جنسية او جامعة عرقية‪ ،‬وشدد عىل أن القوة‬ ‫العسكرية والعمليات االستخبارية وتطبيق القانون لن‬ ‫يحلوا وحدهم مشكلة التطرف العنيف‪ ،‬ورضورة تبني‬ ‫اسرتاتيجيات مجتمعية كجزء حيوي للجهود الدولية‬ ‫ملكافحة التطرف العنيف‪.‬‬ ‫واكد املشاركون يف القمة التزامهم بإحراز تقدم ملموس‬ ‫إزاء تنفيذ األجندة الشاملة ملحاربة اإلرهاب يتم تتويجها‬ ‫خالل قمة قادة الدول التي ستعقد عىل هامش أعامل‬ ‫الجمعية العامة لألمم املتحدة يف سبتمرب القادم‪.‬‬

‫أما الرحلة الثانية‪ ،‬للطائرة التي قادها أندريه‬ ‫بورشبريج املؤسس الرشيك ملرشوع “سوالر‬ ‫إمبلس» فقد استغرقت نحو ‪ 10‬ساعات وجاءت‬ ‫بهدف مترين قائد الطائرة عىل التحليق املستمر‬ ‫واالستعداد للرحلة املرتقبة حول العامل‪ ،‬وقامت‬ ‫الطائرة يف رحلتها التجريبية بالتحليق فوق معامل‬ ‫مهمة بالعاصمة أبوظبي مثل جامع الشيخ زايد‬ ‫الكبري والكورنيش وجزر القرم الرشقي‪ .‬وتستأنف‬ ‫الطائرة رحالتها التجريبية يف سامء أبوظبي األسبوع‬ ‫املقبل متهيدا لجولتها املنتظرة حول العامل انطالقا‬ ‫من أبوظبي للتحليق فوق بحر العرب والهند‬ ‫وميامنار والصني واملحيط الهادئ والواليات املتحدة‬ ‫واملحيط األطليس وأوروبا و شامل أفريقيا‪ ،‬قبل‬ ‫العودة اىل وجهتها النهائية أبوظبي يف شهر متوز‪/‬‬ ‫يوليو املقبل‪.‬‬

‫ال تزال قضية مقتلِ املسلمني الثالثة يف الواليات املتحدة‪،‬‬ ‫تتفاعل عىل املستوى الدَّويل ألنها تندرج كام يُعتقد‬ ‫ضمن جرائم الكراهية للمسلمني‪.‬‬ ‫وبعد أن انتقد الرئيس الرتيك رجب طيب أردوغان‬ ‫الردود الرخوة عىل الحادث من جانب املسؤولني‬ ‫األمريكيني‪ ،‬وصف الرئيس األمرييك باراك أوباما مقتل‬ ‫الشبان املسلمني الثالثة يف نورث كاروالينا بأنه «قتل‬ ‫وحيش شائن» وقال إنه يجب أال يكون أحد يف الواليات‬ ‫املتحدة مستهدفا بسبب ديانته‪ ،‬وذلك يف أعقاب‬ ‫انتقادات ألوباما لعدم إصداره بيان يدين فيه الحادث‪.‬‬ ‫جاء بيان الرئيس يف الوقت الذي قالت فيه وزارة العدل‬ ‫األمريكية إنها تنتظر نتائج تحقيق مكتب التحقيقات‬ ‫االتحادي لتحديد ما إذا كان املتهم بالقتل خرق أي‬ ‫قوانني اتحادية مبا يف ذلك قوانني جرائم الكراهية‪ .‬ونالت‬ ‫القضية اهتامما عامليا وانتقد الرئيس الرتيك رجب طيب‬ ‫أردوغان الرئيس األمرييك باراك أوباما ونائبه جو بايدن‬ ‫ووزير الخارجية األمرييك جون كريي‪ ،‬لعدم إدالئهم بأي‬ ‫ترصيحات عن الحادث‪ .‬وأردوغان يقول «علينا إظهار‬

‫موقفنا باحرتام إزاء ما حدث‪ .‬عندما يصوت لنا الناس‪،‬‬ ‫فإنهم يصوتون من أجل أمنهم وحياتهم‪ .‬وهذا ما أصبح‬ ‫عىل املحك يف صناديق االقرتاع‪ .‬وإذا بقيتم صامتني‬ ‫يف مواجهة مثل تلك الحوادث‪ ،‬ومل تصدروا بيانا‪ ،‬فإن‬ ‫العامل سيلتزم الصمت تجاهكم»‪ .‬أما األمني العام لألمم‬ ‫املتحدة بان يك مون أشاد باملسلمني الثالثة وقال إنهم‬ ‫ميثلون أفضل قيم املواطنة العاملية وإنه تأثر بشدة‬ ‫مبشاهد آالف الناس الذين شاركوا يف تشييع جثامنهم‪.‬‬ ‫وكان أقارب الضحايا دعوا أوباما إىل اإلرصار عىل أن‬ ‫تحقق السلطات االتحادية فيام إذا كان دافع املتهم‬ ‫كريج ستيفن هيكس كراهية الضحايا ألنهم مسلمون‪.‬‬ ‫واتهم بعض املسلمني يف الدول العربية وسائل اإلعالم‬ ‫والحكومات الغربية بعدم االكرتاث لحادث نورث‬ ‫كاروالينا مقارنة بالصخب الذي صاحب الهجوم عىل‬ ‫صحيفة شاريل ابدو الفرنسية التي تشتهر برسومها‬ ‫الساخرة املسيئة لإلسالم يف باريس الشهر املايض‪.‬‬

‫هكذا تحدث والد ضياء عن‬ ‫حادثة تشابل هل‬ ‫نامي بركات والد ضياء املقتول غدرا رفقة زوجته و‬ ‫أختها يتحرك عىل كل املستويات إلثبات أن ما حدث‬ ‫مؤخرا ً «بتشابل هل»والية كاروالينا الشاملية له‬ ‫تأويل مختلف باملطلق عام يحاول اإلعالم الرتويج له‪.‬‬ ‫يف حديث بثته جريدة الرشوق‪ ،‬يتأسف والد ضياء‬ ‫عن موقف الحكومات العربية التي سبق ملعظمها‬ ‫أن تضامنت مع ضحايا شاريل بباريس بينام التزمت‬ ‫الصمت إزاء الجرمية املرتكبة يف حق أفراد أرسته و‬ ‫سمى الحالة بالعار الكبري‪ .‬نامي بركات أعرب أيضا‬ ‫عن حزنه العميق و عدم تصديقه ملا وقع بحيث أن‬ ‫الجرمية فاقت قدرته عىل االستيعاب‪ .‬نامي ضياء قال‬ ‫بخصوص الطريقة التي تعامل بها االعالم االمرييك‬ ‫خالل األيام األوىل للجرمية أن الرتكيز كله كان منصبا‬ ‫حول جعل الجرمية تتعلق بخالف شخصني بشأن‬ ‫موقف للسيارات بيد أن األمر بعيد كل البعد عن‬ ‫الواقع املر‪ .‬الجرمية حسب والد الضحية وقعت يف‬ ‫الخامسة مساءا حيث قام الجاين بطرق الباب و دخل‬ ‫ثم أطلق الرصاص عىل الضحايا الثالثة بينام هم يف‬ ‫البيت علام أن السيارات الثالث ألفراد أرسته مركونة يف‬ ‫موقفهن املعتاد مل يكن عليه خالف يف السابق‪ .‬نامي‬ ‫ضياء أكد عىل أن القضية مرتبطة باإلسالموفوبيا أي‬ ‫كراهية االسالم و املسلمني و أنه يشتغل بكل قواه مع‬ ‫الحكومة من أجل أن تكون ترصيحاتها متطابقة مع‬ ‫الحدث كام وقع و أن تفند كل االدعاءات التي تقول‬ ‫أن الجرمية سببها موقف للسيارات مصمام عىل عدم‬ ‫التنازل عن حقه‪ .‬و عن تسائل حول تفاعل الجاليات‬ ‫العربية و االسالمية يف هذا املصاب‪ ،‬كان جواب األب‬ ‫«ما شاء الله» عىل تضامنهم الكبري و توافدهم من كل‬ ‫الواليات األمريكية‪ .‬أما بخصوص تعاطي اإلعالم العريب‬ ‫مع الجرمية‪ ،‬استثنى األب قناة الجزيرة كإعالم ساند‬ ‫الضحايا و أن باقي القنوات مل تقم بدورها الكايف مقارنة‬ ‫مع التغطية اإلعالمية الضخمة التي نالها حدث «شاريل‬ ‫إيبدو» الفرنسية‪ .‬و بخصوص حياة ضياء قبل مقتله‬ ‫يقول األب أنه ‪-‬رحمة الله عليه‪ -‬إنسان نشيط يف جمع‬ ‫املساعدات لالجئني يف كل من سوريا و فلسطني‪ .‬كان‬ ‫ضياء إبنا مطيعا و محبا و محبوبا رحمة الله عليه‪.‬‬ ‫هذه الجرمية حسب قول األب من املفروض أن توحد‬ ‫املسلمني و تعيد إحياء معاين التضامن و التعاون آخذا‬ ‫وعدا عىل نفسه بأن تبقى رسالة ضياء مستمرة معلنا‬ ‫عزمه مواصلة أنشطة إبنه الخريية‪.‬‬

‫تربية‬ ‫تقرير موجز حول ملتقى مولدن‬ ‫ريدز أو‬ ‫‪Malden Reads‬‬

‫التوقعات االيجابية تصنع الناجحين‬

‫ليك يكون ابنك ناجحا يجب أن تبني له باستمرار أنك تتوقع‬ ‫منه النجاح والتفوق الدرايس‪ .‬وأن لديه كل القدرات ليفعل‬ ‫ذلك‪ ،‬فقط عليك أن تشجعه‪ ،‬وتلهم وتبني له أنه كانسان‬ ‫منحه الله تعاىل قدرات مميزة‪ .‬حقيقة علمية‪ ،‬توصلت لها‬ ‫الدراسات يف الخمس عرشة سنة املاضية‪ :‬االستغراق‪ ،‬ومشاركة‬ ‫الوالدين اإليجابية البنهام لها أكرب تأثري عليه‪ ،‬بخاصة عىل‬ ‫نجاحه املدريس‪ ،‬ويسبقان يف األهمية املدرسني ومستوى‬ ‫املدرسة‪ .‬فالرسالة إذًا واضحة؛ إن كنت ترغب يف أن مييض ابنك‬ ‫بطريقة جيدة يف املدرسة فعليك باالستغراق واملشاركة‪ ،‬مبعنى‬ ‫أن متنحه الوقت الكايف كل يوم‪ ،‬وعليك العناية واالهتامم‬ ‫بواجباته الدراسية‪.‬‬ ‫من بني تلك الدراسات‪ ،‬دراسة عن عرش عائالت أمريكية‬ ‫سوداء بشيكاغو‪ ،‬من سكان األحياء الفقرية متشابهة يف معظم‬ ‫خمسا من هذه العائالت‬ ‫النواحي اجتامع ًّيا واقتصاديًّا‪ ،‬إال أن ً‬ ‫كان لديها أطفال ضمن أفضل ‪ %20‬يف فصلهم الدرايس‪ ،‬بينام‬ ‫كان أطفال العائالت الخمس األخرى ضمن أسوأ ‪ %20‬يف‬ ‫الفصل‪ .‬لقد كان الفرق بني املتفوقني وغري املتفوقني هو ما‬ ‫أداه الوالدان مع أطفالهم‪ ،‬وهو ما لخصه الوالدان يف النقاط‬ ‫التالية‪:‬‬ ‫‪ -1‬التحدث باستمرار مع أطفالهم‪.‬‬ ‫‪ -2‬التشجيع القوي ملتابعة األداء الدرايس‪.‬‬ ‫‪ -3‬إقامة حدود واضحة داخل البيت‪.‬‬ ‫‪ -4‬خلق بيئة محفزة ومساعدة داخل البيت‪.‬‬ ‫‪ -5‬متابعة طريق قضاء األطفال ألوقاتهم وتوجيههم‪.‬‬ ‫وبالتايل‪ ،‬جاءت النتائج؛ لتؤكد أن كافة العائالت مهام كان‬ ‫مستواها التعليمي واملادي واالجتامعي تستطيع أن تتخذ‬ ‫خطوات محددة وواضحة من شأنها أن تساعد األطفال عىل‬ ‫التعلم بصورة متميزة‪.‬‬ ‫فتوقع النجاح (والذي يسميه علامء الرتبية اإلميان بالطفل)‬ ‫من قبل الوالدين‪ ،‬واملعتقدات اإليجابية‪ ،‬والتوقعات واألماين‬ ‫لها أهميتها يف مساعدة الطفل عىل تعلم العمل الجاد‪ ،‬وهذا‬ ‫أحد أهم األشياء التي عىل الوالدين التمسك بها؛ فالتوقعات‬ ‫اإليجابية بخصوص األطفال تقوم بتشكيل األداء بطريقة قوية‬ ‫وفعالة‪.‬‬ ‫نعم نعيدها‪ :‬التوقعات اإليجابية املعلنة تجاه أطفالنا تقويهم‬ ‫وتنمي عفويا قدراتهم وبناء أفضل طرق األداء الفعالة‬ ‫والناجعة‪.‬‬ ‫ويقول الباحث «ألربت مرصبيان» إن ‪ %93‬مام نوصله إىل‬ ‫اآلخرين‪ ،‬عام نحب أو نكره‪ ،‬ال ي ْك ُمن يف الكلامت التي ننطق‬ ‫بها‪ ،‬ولكن يف نغمة الصوت وتعبريات الوجه‪ ،‬فمشاعرنا رسعان‬ ‫ما تصل إىل الطفل حتى دون أن نرتجمها إىل كلامت منطوقة‪.‬‬ ‫‪Zarah Magazine‬‬ ‫‪Magazine || March‬‬ ‫‪Zarah‬‬ ‫‪March 2014‬‬ ‫‪2015 || 10‬‬

‫ولكن كيف ميكن تغيري مشاعرنا وصورتنا السلبية إىل مشاعر‬ ‫وتوقعات إيجابية؟‬ ‫األمر سهل‪ :‬الرتكيز دامئًا ودو ًما بصورة علنية يف أثناء حديث‬ ‫الذات؛ عىل مواطن القوة يف الطفل وخصاله اإليجابية‪ .‬ال‬ ‫بد من أن يتم ذلك عن طريق مترين جاد للتغيري (حديث‬ ‫النفس أو الذات) بأن يؤكد الوالدان ألنفسهام أن ابنهم طيب‪،‬‬ ‫عاطفي‪ ،‬يحبهم ‪ ،‬إيجايب يف تعامله مع اآلخرين‪ ،‬وأن يُقدِّروا‬ ‫محاوالته السرتضائهم‪.‬‬ ‫وليك يكون لهذه األمور أثرها وفعاليتها؛ ستحتاج إىل ترديدها‬ ‫مرات عديدة؛ ولذا ـ كام ينصحنا علامء الرتبية ـ عليك بكتابتها‬ ‫وتسجيلها‪ ،‬حتى ميكن لك تذكرها‪ ،‬وعليك باالحتفاظ بها معك‬ ‫يف داخل (جيبيك) أينام ذهبت‪ ،‬وعليك بوضعها يف أماكن‬ ‫ميكن لك فيها أن تشاهدها أو تلمحها‪ .‬قم بقراءتها‪ ،‬ورددها‬ ‫لنفسك‪ .‬كررها بصوت مرتفع ويف صمت أيضً ا‪ ،‬وعندما تردد‬ ‫هذه التوكيدات‪ ،‬رددها مصاحبة للمشاعر بإحساس صادق‬ ‫وكأنك تعنيها فعالً‪ ،‬عليك ترديدها بأكرث قدر من اإلحساس‬ ‫واالقتناع‪.‬‬ ‫إننا جمي ًعا‪ ،‬كآباء وأمهات‪ ،‬نحتاج إىل توقعات إيجابية وحنان‬ ‫وحب صادق؛ يك ننجح يف املشاركة اإليجابية واالستغراق مع‬ ‫أبنائنا‪.‬‬ ‫إنه جوهر العالقة بني اآلباء واألبناء‪.‬‬ ‫بقلم خالد بوتنورة‬

‫يف إطار أنشطتها الثقافية و التواصلية‪ ،‬نظمت‬ ‫املكتبة العمومية مبولدن‪ -‬والية املاساتشوست‪-‬يومه‬ ‫الخميس ‪ 19‬فرباير‪ 2015‬النسخة الرابعة من الربنامج‬ ‫السنوي“‪ “Malden Reads‬أو ”مولدن تقرأ“ و هو‬ ‫برنامج يهدف إىل جعل القراءة عنرصا من عنارص‬ ‫اإلستمتاع بالكتاب و تنمية الرثوة اللغوية و تطوير‬ ‫مستوى الفرد يف التعامل مع اللغة و أساليبها و من‬ ‫جهة أخرى خلق ميول إيجايب نحو القراءة و اإلقبال‬ ‫عليها و حب الكتابة و مالزمة الكتاب و إقتنائه‪ .‬كام‬ ‫يهدف هذا امللتقى إىل ترسيخ ثقافة اإلنفتاح عىل الغري‬ ‫و إستيعاب قيم و ضوابط التعايش كاإلختالف و الحوار‬ ‫من خالل تقبل اآلخر و إحرتامه و حسن مخاطبته و‬ ‫إنصافه‪ .‬الربنامج الذي يستقطب عادة‪ ،‬عددا هائال‬ ‫من الزوار من جميع أنحاء الوالية‪ ،‬ينظم برشاكة مع‬ ‫فعاليات جمعوية و تربوية تنتمي للمدينة و ذلك‬ ‫برعاية رشفية ملحافظة مولدن يف شخص عمدتها السيد‬ ‫غاري كريستنسون الذي يحرص دامئا عىل أن يكون‬ ‫حارضا يف مثل هذه اللقاءات رفقة ثلة من أعضاء‬ ‫مجلسه اإلداري‪.‬إىل جانب ذلك يشارك يف هذا الربنامج‬ ‫ممثلون عن مختلف الجاليات و الجامعات املتواجدة‬ ‫باملدينة و نواحيها‪ ،‬كالجالية الصينية و الجالية اليهودية‬ ‫و ممثلون عن جهات أخرى‪ .‬الرابطة األمريكية للمرأة‬ ‫العربية و التي ترتأسها السيدة سعاد عاكب‪ ،‬كانت‬ ‫حارضة بدورها كام يف السنوات املاضية‪ .‬و يف كل سنة‬ ‫تشمل مساهمتها موضوعا ذو صلة بأهدافها و بالثقافة‬ ‫العربية التي هي ميدان إشتغالها‪ ،‬فمثال يف السنة‬ ‫املاضية متثلت مشاركتها يف ثالث وجوه نسائية عربية‬ ‫تألقت يف مجاالت مختلفة‪ :‬عائشة الشنا من املغرب يف‬ ‫امليدان اإلجتامعي‪ .‬نوال السعداوي من مرص يف املجال‬ ‫الفكري و الحقوقي ثم أحالم موستغامني من الجزائر يف‬ ‫الجانب األديب و الروايئ عىل وجه خاص‪ .‬هذه السنة‪،‬‬ ‫إختارت الرابطة‪.‬أ‪.‬م‪.‬ع موضوع ”اللغة العربية“ تاريخها‪،‬‬ ‫تطورها طريقة كتابتها و ذلك من خالل نقاشات و‬ ‫حوارات مع الزوار‪ ،‬و وضع مجموعة من الكتب و‬ ‫املؤلفات و املعاجم لإلطالع عليها و أخذ فكرة عن‬ ‫اللغة العربية و التعامل مع حروف أبجديتها‪ .‬و إلعطاء‬ ‫الزوار فرصة للتفاعل مع هذه اللغة‪ ،‬و التعرف عىل‬ ‫جامليتها‪ ،‬إرتأت الرابطة أن تستغل جانبا من رواقها‬ ‫من أجل إمتاعهم بفن التخطيط العريب األصيل و ذلك‬ ‫بكتابة أسامء الزائرين باللغة العربية عىل ورق مقوى‪،‬‬ ‫الشيئ الذي خلق نوعا من التفاعل اإليجايب و جعلهم‬ ‫يظهرون إعجابا بجاملية هذه اللغة التي تظل لحد اآلن‬ ‫مجاال ال يعرفون عنه أي شيئ‪.‬‬ ‫يف كل سنة يعرف هذا امللتقى حضورا إعالميا البأس به‬ ‫سواء من طرف املحليني أو الوافدين من جهات أخرى‪.‬‬ ‫و يف هذا الباب نذكر التغطية اإلعالمية التي قامت بها‬ ‫مجلة زهرة يف شخص رئيسها السيد رشيد مخرب رفقة‬ ‫بعض من طاقمه التقني و الذين حرضوا اللقاء منذ‬ ‫بدايته إيل آخر فقرة من برامجه حيث خصصوا حيزا‬ ‫مهام من مساهمتهم يف أخذ الصور و إجراء حوارات‬ ‫خاصة مع بعض الشخصيات و الفعاليات التي كانت‬ ‫متواجدة بالقاعة‪.‬‬

‫حوار‬ ‫حوار مع عبده‪ ,‬مجموعة نور للموسيقى الروحية‬ ‫حاورت مجلة زهرة الصوت املغريب و املغاريب و العريب عضوا من مجموعة النور عىل هامش الحفل السنوي الذي‬ ‫أقيم بجامعة «تافتس» بسامرفيل‪/‬ميدفرد بضواحي بوسطن والية ماساتشوسيت‪ ،‬الواليات املتحدة األمريكية مبناسبة‬ ‫ذكرى مولد الرسول الكريم‪ .‬و هذا ملخص الحوار كام جاء عىل لسان مؤسس املجموعة‪.‬‬ ‫ب ِْسم الله الرحامن الرحيم‪ ،‬أوال أود أن أوجه جزيل الشكر لطاقم مجلة زهرة عىل الجهود التي يقوم بها من أجل‬ ‫إعالء صوت الجالية بالديار األمريكية؛ و من هذا املنرب أيضا أريد أن أهنىء الطاقم املرشف عليها عىل التفوق‬ ‫امللحوظ و كذا أمتنى لهم مزيدا من التألق يف مصارهم اإلعالمي‪.‬‬ ‫بخصوص السؤال حول النشأة و البداية فكانتا سنة ‪ ١٩٩١‬حينام كنت تلميذا باإلعدادية باملغرب و كنت آنذاك‬ ‫قد تعرفت عىل صديق متيز بصوت عذب وظفه يف فن السامع و املديح و لن أخفي عليكم مدى انبهاري بهكذا‬ ‫فن‪ ،‬فكانت بداية املشوار تلتها مسرية مليئة بالعديد من السهرات و املهرجانات عىل الصعيد الوطني و العاملي و‬ ‫كان أبرزها مهرجان الرباط لعام ‪ ٢٠٠٠‬إىل أن شاءت األقدار أن أهاجر إىل أمريكا سنة ‪ ٢٠٠٣‬ألجد نفيس مضطرا‬ ‫ملواصلة املشوار السيام أن الجالية املغربية و العربية املسلمة يف حاجة إىل مثل هذه الفنون التي تربطها بدينها‬ ‫الحنيف و ثقافتها املتنوعة و هويتها‪ .‬ومن هنا أتت فكرة إنشاء و تأسيس مجموعة «نور» للموسيقى الروحية‬ ‫كام تعرفونها يف حلتها الحالية‪.‬‬ ‫و بشكل تدريجي بدأ التنقيب عىل املوسيقيني من مختلف الجنسيات و الثقافات بحيث تعرفت عىل أول عازف‬ ‫متخصص يف آلة الناي و هو الفنان املقتدر السيد بوجمعة رزيك و كان ذلك عام ‪ ٢٠٠٣‬بينام كنت مشاركا إىل‬ ‫جانب عبد الرحيم الصويري الذي كان يحيي سهرة هنا ببوسطن‪ .‬تعرفت أيضا عىل عازفني من تونس الشقيقة و‬ ‫بالد النيل مرص و لبنان بسبب مشاركتنا يف حفالت تقام داخل األسوار الجامعية بأمريكا و التي كانت وال زالت‬ ‫رصاحة جرسا نتواصل من خالله مع مهتمني بالفن من مختلف األقطار‪.‬‬ ‫فيام يتعلق بالرسالة التي نحملها من خالل تعاطينا لفن املديح هي أوال و قبل كل يشء تخصنا نحن بحيث أنها‬ ‫تغنينا بشامئل الرسول الكريم و جامله صىل الله عليه و سلم و نطمح أن نكون من املحبوبني عنده ثم نشارك‬ ‫الناس هذه الرسالة و نتقاسم معهم إحساسنا إن وفقنا طبعا و كذلك نعطي مثاال لآلخرين خارج درب اإلسالم بأن‬ ‫هذا األخري هو بالفعل دين فن و جامل و تسامح‪.‬‬

‫أما تقييمي للحفل الذي أحييناه مؤخرا ً بجامعة «تافتس» ضواحي بوسطن العتيقة لن أخفي عنكم مدى فرحتي و سعاديت و فخري‬ ‫و أنا أحتفل و أساهم يف إحياء ذكرى عيد املولد النبوي الرشيف بالديار األمريكية‪ .‬و هذا رشف ما بعده رشف و خاصة و نحن منر‬ ‫بوقت صعب جدا نرى فيه تجرأ البعض ‪-‬هداهم الله سبحانه و تعاىل‪ -‬عىل املس بشخصية الرسول الكريم‪ ،‬رسول الرحمة سيدنا‬ ‫محمد عليه الصالة و السالم ( و هنا أشري إىل الرسوم الكاريكاتورية املسيئة للنبي الكريم)‪ .‬رسرت كثريا و أنا أقرأ الفرح عىل محيا‬ ‫الجمهور الذي حج بكرثة ملشاركتنا هذا الحفل الديني و هذا دليل عىل حب الناس الغري محدود للرسول (ص) و شغفهم لهذا الفن‬ ‫الجميل‪ .‬نشكر الله و نحمده لترشفنا بالقيام بالعديد من الحفالت مبختلف املدن و الواليات األمريكية و الحظنا و المسنا نفس‬ ‫التجاوب و اإلنسجام من لدن جمهورنا العزيز علينا مع كل مقطع نقدمه و هذا أكيد فضل من الله سبحانه‪.‬‬ ‫بالفعل لدينا العديد من املشاريع املستقبلية و منها املزيد من املشاركات يف بعض الجامعات و املراكز الثقافية بأمريكا و نحن‬ ‫باملناسبة بصدد إنشاء نادي ثقايف عاملي من أجل إغناء فن املديح و جعله جرس حب و فن و سالم بني الشعوب‪.‬‬ ‫و أخريا عندي كلمة أوجهها للجالية املغربية و العربية و هي أنهم األمل و مبساندتهم لنا و دعمهم املستمر حتام و مبشيئة الله‬ ‫سبحانه و تعاىل ستكون اإلستمرارية و مزيدا من اإلبداع هي ميزة مجموعة «نور» للموسيقى الروحية و ها أنا من هنا و من منرب‬ ‫مجلة زهرة أحيي الجالية بكل أطيافها و لهم حب خالص و احرتام خاص و مجموعة «نور» ترضب لهم موعدا آخر يف مناسبات‬ ‫قادمة إن شاء الله تعاىل‪.‬‬ ‫و شك ًرا جزيال ملجلة زهرة و للجالية و الحضور بغض النظر عن اإلنتامء ألن الفن الروحي يقصد الروح اإلنسانية و ليست له حدود‬ ‫جغرافية‪.‬‬ ‫و السالم عليكم و رحمة الله‪.‬‬ ‫حاوره رشيد مخرب‬

‫املال الكثري و تريض أيضا األطراف املحافظة و‬ ‫املعادية لكل ما هو أجنبي يف عامل صارا «مهجنا»‬ ‫عىل كل االصعدة‪ -‬ثقافيا و عرقيا و لغويا!!! هذا‬ ‫كام هو معلوم سبب ضجة دولية تزعمتها أبواق‬ ‫غالبا ما تنتظر و بشغف أن تكون املأساة االنسانية‬ ‫من إخراج إنسان يتدين أو ينتسب إىل شجرة‬ ‫الدين االسالمي بطريقة أو بأخرى‪ .‬لكن املتتبع‬ ‫لتفاصيل حادثة «شابل هيل» األمريكية حيث قتل‬ ‫ثالث أفراد يتدينون االسالم سيجد حتام أن التعتيم‬ ‫اإلعالمي و اإلحتشام السيايس كان سيدا املوقف‬ ‫بالرغم من ظهور مرتدد و غري مقنع لبعض القنوات‬ ‫و وسائل إعالمية أخرى ليك نكون منصفني‪ .‬يقول‬ ‫أحد الناشطني بصفحة الفييس بوك من خالل تعليق‬ ‫اعتربته «يف الصميم»‪ ،‬أن االعالم الغريب بشكل عام‪،‬‬ ‫مع وجود بعض اإلستثناءات علام أن االستثناء ال‬ ‫يشكّل القاعدة‪ ،‬هو إعالم توجهه األطراف املسيطرة‬ ‫بناءا عىل أهداف ممكن أن تكون سياسية داخلية‬ ‫أو خارجية تخدم املصالح العليا لهاته االطراف‪».‬‬ ‫حادثة «شابل هيل» حسب األغلبية الساحقة مل‬

‫تكن عملية إجرامية فحسب بل كانت و بامللموس‬ ‫عملية إرهابية و عنرصية و «إسالموفوبية» بامتياز‪.‬‬ ‫مل نرى أو نسمع ردود فعل رسمية أو قانونية‬ ‫للساسة املحليني و لساسة العامل االسالمي بالتحديد‬ ‫الذي كان من املفروض أن يضغطوا لسن قوانني‬ ‫دولية تحرم بحزم و شدة اإلسالموفوبيا يف بلدان‬ ‫غربية تحتضن املاليني من مسلمي العامل‪ .‬و لألسف‬ ‫الشديد‪ ،‬بهذا الحدث املأساوي تأكد للعامة أن‬ ‫اإلعالم الغريب و الساسة بشكل عام يتعاملون‬ ‫بازدواجية يف املعايري و مل يعطوا ملقتل الثالثة‬ ‫املتدينني إسالميا حقه الكايف من اإلنكار و الشجب‬ ‫لسبب أن الدماء كانت مسلمة علام أنها أمريكية‪...‬‬ ‫فلندق إذا ً ناقوس خطر تنامي السلوك العدواين‬ ‫اتجاه كل ما هو مسلم و عىل املجتمع املدين أيضا‬ ‫أن يتحرك أكرث و أن يأخذ األمور بجدية ملواجهة‬ ‫كل من يغذي اإلسالم وفوبيا من ساسة و إعالم و‬ ‫أفراد ملا لهذا السلوك من عواقب لن تكون يف صالح‬ ‫املجتمع!!‬

‫طريان اإلمارات تدعو واشنطن لتجاهل مطالب رشكات امريكية‬

‫دعا رئيس رشكة طريان اإلمارات تيم كالرك الحكومة‬ ‫األمريكية إىل تجاهل مطالبات كربيات رشكات‬ ‫الطريان األمريكية بإعادة التفاوض حول اتفاقيات‬ ‫تحرير األجواء‪ ،‬وذلك ألن رشكات الطريان الخليجية‬ ‫تستفيد من دعم غري عادل من الحكومات‪.‬‬ ‫وحث كالرك ‪-‬يف مقابلة مع وكالة رويرتز‪ -‬اإلدارة‬ ‫األمريكية عىل التفكري يف تأثري مطالبات الرشكات‬ ‫األمريكية عىل قطاع الطريان‪ ،‬والذي انتعش يف‬ ‫السنوات األخرية بفضل ضخامة طلبيات رشاء‬ ‫الطائرات التي تقدمت بها أكرب الناقالت الخليجية‪،‬‬ ‫وهي طريان اإلمارات واالتحاد للطريان والخطوط‬ ‫القطرية‪.‬‬ ‫وجاء ترصيح مسؤول أكرب رشكة طريان يف العامل ردا‬ ‫عىل ادعاءات كل من دلتا إيرالينز وأمريكان إيرالينز‬ ‫ويونايتد إيرالينز‪ ،‬بأن رشكات طريان خليجية تتلقى‬ ‫دعام من حكوماتها‪ .‬وطالبت الرشكات الثالث يف‬ ‫تقرير مكون من ‪ 55‬صفحة قدمته لسلطات الطريان‬ ‫األمريكية‪ ،‬بإعادة التفاوض أو تجميد اتفاقيات‬ ‫تحرير األجواء مع اإلمارات وقطر‪.‬‬ ‫وقالت الرشكات املذكورة إن نظام تحرير األجواء‬ ‫مينح الرشكات األخرى ميزة أكرب ألن السوق األمريكية‬ ‫أكرب بكثري من أسواقها املحلية‪ ،‬وأضافت أن الدول‬

‫الخليجية انتهكت اتفاقات تجارية عرب تقديم دعم‬ ‫مايل مزعوم بقيمة أربعني مليار دوالر لناقالتها‪ ،‬وهو‬ ‫ما نفته مرارا دول الخليج ورشكاتها‪.‬‬ ‫وتشكو الرشكات األمريكية من أن رشكات الطريان‬ ‫الخليجية غريت اسرتاتيجيتها بعدما تم التفاوض عىل‬ ‫االتفاقات‪ ،‬لتصبح مراكز عاملية تهدد بقية الصناعة‬ ‫بدال من كونها ناقالت وطنية عادية‪.‬‬ ‫ونفى كالرك اتهامات الرشكات األمريكية‪ ،‬وقال إن‬ ‫طريان اإلمارات ناقشت اسرتاتيجيتها بشكل علني‬ ‫يف املحادثات التجارية التي أسفرت عن إقرار‬ ‫اتفاقية تحرير األجواء يف عام ‪ .1999‬و أملح رئيس‬ ‫طريان اإلمارات إىل إمكانية اتخاذ إجراء قانوين تجاه‬ ‫االنتقادات املذكورة سابقا‪ ،‬وخاصة التي أطلقتها‬ ‫رشكة دلتا‪ ،‬وطالب بنرش التقرير الذي قدمته‬ ‫الرشكات األمريكية إضافة إىل حق الرد عليه‪.‬‬ ‫كام فند املتحدث أيضا االدعاءات بأن الناقالت‬ ‫الخليجية استحوذت عىل جزء من نصيب رشكات‬ ‫الطريان األمريكية يف السوق‪ ،‬وقال إن السبب يرجع‬ ‫إىل فشل األخرية يف مجاراة العوملة‪.‬‬ ‫املصدر ‪ :‬رويرتز‬

‫مجتمع‬ ‫دور العمل التطوعي يف املجال الصحي‬ ‫هو من أعظم مجاالت العمل التطوعي‪ ،‬كإنشاء املعاهد‬ ‫الطبية الرتبوية ومراكز التأهيل و جمعيات آباء و أصدقاء‬ ‫املرىض وغريها‪...‬‬ ‫مراكز مكافحة اإلدمان ‪:‬‬

‫يشمل التطوع يف املجال الصحي العديد من األنشطة‬ ‫التي تساهم يف نرش الوعي الصحي و اساليب الوقاية من‬ ‫االمراض وتربية صحية كفيلة مبساعدة الفرد عىل املحافضة‬ ‫عىل صحة جيدة و القضاء عىل األمراض واألوبئة و يعترب‬ ‫الرافد الثالث للخدمة الصحية بعد الرافدين االساسني ‪،‬‬ ‫القطاع العام و الخاص ‪.‬‬

‫يعترب العمل التطوعي رافد مهم يف تقديم املعالجة‬ ‫النفسية والصحية و الوقائية والسلوكية لبعض املتعاطني‬ ‫للمخدرات واملدمنني أو حتى املنحرفني اجتامعياً‪ ،‬فاملجتمع‬ ‫املدين يعترب اللبنة األساسية ملكافحة تعاطي الشباب‬ ‫للمخدرات و العادات االدمانية بشتى أنواعها‪ ،‬و مساعدة‬ ‫الشباب املتعاطني و املدمنني عىل الخروج من دائرة اإلدمان‬ ‫و ذلك عن طريق إحداث وحدات عالجية و توفري أدوية‬ ‫املساعدة و عالج اإلدمان و خلق فضاءات لإلبداع والتعلم و‬ ‫اكتساب املهارات ‪.‬‬

‫ينقسم التطوع يف املجال الطبي اىل عدة اقسام او مجاالت‪:‬‬

‫محاربة داء الرسطان ‪:‬‬

‫و التطوع يف املجال الصحي قد ياخد ابعاد مختلفة مثل‬ ‫بناء املستشفيات واملراكز الصحية والعيادات والصيدليات و‬ ‫مختربات ومراكز العالج الطبيعي وإقامة الدورات التدريبية‬ ‫يف اساليب الوقاية الصحية و نرش الوعي الصحي ودعم‬ ‫انشطة أصدقاء املرىض وتأمني السكن الصحي للمرىض‬ ‫وعمل أسبوع للنظافة من وقت آلخر ومن أهم هذه‬ ‫األنشطة ‪:‬‬

‫يشكل العمل الجمعوي التطوعي السالح الذي يساهم يف‬ ‫تعميم الوعي للوقاية من مرض الرسطان وتثقيف املجتمع‬ ‫ومساعدة املرىض معنويا عن طريق تسهيل الولوج للعالج‬ ‫ودعم أي حملة أو أبحاث علمية كفيلة بتخفيف أالم و‬ ‫معاناة هذه الرشيحة من املرىض املصابني بالرسطان‪...‬‬

‫أنشطة أصدقاء املرىض ‪:‬‬ ‫تشكل عينة من عينات التشكالت الجمعوية‪ ،‬هدفها االسمى‬ ‫هو اسعاد املرىض و السهر عىل اراحتهم نفسيا و مامرسة‬ ‫نشاطهم يف املجتمع كاعضاء فاعليني‪ ،‬و خلق فضاءات‬ ‫للنقاش و التحاور ‪.‬‬ ‫القوافل الطبية التضامنية ‪:‬‬ ‫القوافل الطبية التضامنية لها دور مهم يف تقريب الخدمة‬ ‫الصحية من املواطنني و كذلك يف نرش الوعي الصحي يف‬ ‫املجتمع و تقديم اإلسعافات األولية للمواطنني يف املناطق‬ ‫البعيدة والقيام بالتوعية اإلعالمية و تسهيل الولوج إىل‬ ‫العالجات ‪.‬‬ ‫دعم ومساندة ورعاية األطفال ذوي االحتياجات الخاصة ‪:‬‬ ‫التطوع يف مجاالت اإلعاقة ورعاية وتأهيل ذوي االحتياجات‬ ‫الخاصة سواء عن طريق بذل مايل أو معنوي‪ ،‬أو بدين أو‬ ‫فكري يقدمه املتطوع عن رضا وقناعة له دور كبري يف‬ ‫ترسيخ قيم التكافل‪ ،‬بل هو باألحرى رضورة مجتمعية‪،‬‬ ‫مساندة هذه الفئة والتخفيف من آالمهم ومعاناتهم من‬ ‫خالل برنامج تأهيل تكاميل شامل و تقديم مساعدات و‬ ‫أدوات طبية من اجل تخفيف معاناتهم‪ ،‬ورعاية األطفال‬ ‫ذوي االحتياجات الخاصة و مساعدتهم عىل اكتساب‬ ‫مهارات ‪ ،‬وأيضاً املجال الصحي و التكوين و اإلدماج الذي‬ ‫‪4‬‬

‫سابقا كان الرسطان يعني مرض املوت ولكن تدريجيا مع‬ ‫ظهور و تعميم بعض العالجات ولله الحمد بدأ يتالىش هذا‬ ‫املفهوم كام أصبح الولوج إىل العالج ميرسا و الولوج إىل‬ ‫الوقاية أمر مقبول فكريا و مجتمعيا ‪.‬‬ ‫دعم و رعاية املرىض النفسيني ‪:‬‬ ‫أن طبيعة املرض النفيس وما ينتج عنه من تأثريات سلبية‬ ‫عىل طاقات املريض املعرفية والعقلية‪ ،‬باإلضافة إىل ما‬ ‫يعانيه من نظرة املجتمع السلبية له و لطبيعة مرضه ‪،‬كل‬ ‫ذلك يدفعه إىل العزلة عن مخالطة الناس ‪ ،‬بل حتى عن‬ ‫املطالبة بحقوقه والقيام مبصالح أرسته‪ ،‬وبالتايل فان دور‬ ‫املجتمع املدين يف االهتامم بهذه الفئة املجتمعية يضل‬ ‫ملحا و يجعل املريض النفيس يشعر بوجود من يحتويه يف‬ ‫أزمته ‪ ،‬ويرعى مصالحة بعد أن أصبح أسري نظرة مجتمعه‬ ‫السلبية ‪ ،‬بل حتى من محيطه األرسي يف بعض األحيان ‪،‬‬ ‫وهذا الشعور له تأثري إيجايب عىل املريض ‪ ،‬والذي اجتمعت‬ ‫عليه مشكالت صحية ومادية وغريها‪ ،‬خاصة أن هناك بعض‬ ‫اإلمراض النفسية التي يجعل املريض أكرث عرضة للسقوط‬ ‫يف فخ اإلدمان بحثا عن حل ملشاكله النفسية‪ ،‬وال سيام مع‬ ‫تدهور الجوانب املادية واألرسية‪.‬‬ ‫الرعاية الصحية لالشخاص املسنني‪:‬‬ ‫إن الشيخوخة تعترب مرحلة من أهم املراحل العمرية للفرد‬ ‫تتطلب نوعا خاصا من الرعاية الصحية و الدعم النفيس‪ ،‬إن‬ ‫التتبع الصحي لدى فئة املسنني ترتكز أوال عىل الوقاية من‬

‫مضاعفات األمراض املزمنة التي تصيب األشخاص املسنني‬ ‫لها أنواعا من الرعاية الصحية يجب أن تحظى بها‪ ،‬فإذا مل‬ ‫تتوافر تلك الرعاية فرسعان ما يتعرض الشخص للمرض‪،‬‬ ‫والواقع أن الرعاية الصحية يف فرتة الشيخوخة ترتكز عىل‬ ‫مفهومني ‪ :‬الوقاية و العالج ‪ .‬فمن حيث البعد العالجي‬ ‫البد أوال من العمل عىل تخليص املسن من املشاكل‬ ‫الصحية التي لحقت به‪ ،‬وأما البعد الوقايئ فيتمثل يف رفع‬ ‫الوعي الوقايئ و تفادي مجموعة من السلوكات الضارة‬ ‫بحالة املسن وحثه عىل مامرسة األنشطة الرياضية املتناسبة‬ ‫مع حالته الصحية كامليش مثال‪ ،‬وذلك حتى ال يكون عرضة‬ ‫لإلصابة مبضاعفات معينة‪.‬‬ ‫ورعاية الشيخوخة لها محوران أساسيان‪،‬‬ ‫برنامج دور الرعاية االجتامعية ‪:‬‬ ‫هي منشات اجتامعية كفيلة باستقبال األشخاص املسنني‬ ‫الذين أعجزتهم الشيخوخة عن العمل أو الذين يعجزون‬ ‫عن القيام بشؤون أنفسهم أو املرىض املصابني بعجز بدين‬ ‫أو عقيل أفقدهم القدرة عىل العمل أو رعاية أنفسهم‬ ‫برشط خلوهم من األمراض املعدية أو األمراض العقلية‪،‬‬ ‫إذ توفر هذه املرافق االجتامعية ظروف عيش قريبة إىل‬ ‫حياة األرسة الطبيعية يتمتع فيها املسن بنوع من االستقالل‬ ‫ويشعر فيها بالراحة واألمن والسكينة‪ ،‬وكذلك يستفيد من‬ ‫الرعاية االجتامعية والصحية والنفسية وخدمات العالج‬ ‫الطبيعي وبرامج العناية الشخصية‪ ،‬كام تتيح للمسنني‬ ‫مزاولة بعض األعامل اليدوية واألعامل الفنية بغرض شغل‬ ‫أوقات الفراغ‪.‬‬ ‫برنامج الرعاية املنزلية ‪:‬‬ ‫تهدف هذه الربامج إىل رعاية املسن داخل أرسته وتقدم‬ ‫له الرعاية الطبية حسب الحاجة حيث يزوره فريق طبي‬ ‫حسب جدول مسطر أو كلام دعت الرضورة لذلك وحسب‬ ‫حالة السن‪ ،‬وهذا الفريق مكون من طبيب وممرض أو‬ ‫ممرضة وطبيب نفيس أو أخصايئ نفيس وأخصايئ اجتامعي‬ ‫وأخصايئ عالج طبيعي‬ ‫أما الربامج التي تقدم لهؤالء خارج الدور فتتمثل يف‬ ‫الزيارات والرحالت األسبوعية والنزهات التي تتم بانتظام‬ ‫للقادرين منهم بغية ربطهم باملجتمع الخارجي والقضاء‬ ‫عىل إحساسهم بالعزلة‪.‬‬ ‫ومن خالل تفعيل دور العمل التطوعي يصبح باإلمكان‬ ‫تقديم أفضل الخدمات الصحية لكبار السن إذ ميكن توفري‬ ‫الرعاية الطبية التي يحتاجونها‪ ،‬وتأهيلهم وتأمني منط غذايئ‬ ‫وسلويك واجتامعي مقبول‪ ،‬إضافة إىل توفريالبيئة واملناخ‬ ‫املالمئني والعالج النفيس وتعزيز دور الخدمات العالجية‬ ‫الوقائية من أجل املحافظة عىل حياتهم بعيدا ً عن األمراض‬ ‫ومضاعفاتها العديدة‪.‬‬

‫أعلنت جامعة ماساتشوسيت العمومية األمريكية عن تراجعها بخصوص قرار حظرت به التحاق‬ ‫الطلبة اإليرانيني بأسوارها من أجل استكامل دراستهم العليا بكليتي العلوم و الهندسة باألخص‪ .‬هذا‬ ‫و كانت الجامعة املذكورة سلفا قد قررت فيام سبق عدم قبول الطلبة اإليرانيني يف حرمها الجامعي‬ ‫بأمهرست‪ ،‬رشق بوسطن متاشيا مع تطبيق عقوبات فرضتها الدولة الفيدرالية األمريكية عىل نظام‬ ‫إيران‪ ،‬إال أن إدارة الجامعة وضحت األسبوع املايض أنها و بعد التشاور مع وزارة الخارجية األمريكية‬ ‫و الحقوقيني و املختصني قد توصلت إىل نتيجة مفادها عدم تطبيق اإلجراء املذكور سلفا أي (قرار‬ ‫املنع) يف حق الطلبة القادمني من دولة إيران‪.‬‬ ‫و يف هذا الشأن‪ ،‬قال نائب الجامعة السيد «مايكل مالون» أنه و الجامعة ككل عىل إميان بأن منع‬ ‫دخول الطلبة يتعارض و قيم و مبادىء املؤسسة و زاد يف نفس السياق بأن نتيجة املباحثات و‬ ‫املفاوضات أدت إىل قرار الجامعة باتباع سياسة أقل تقييدا حسب قول املتحدث‪ .‬من جانبها قالت‬ ‫املتحدثة باسم وزارة الخارجية األمريكية السيدة «جني بيسايك»‪« :‬إن الوزارة أجرت مباحثات مع الجامعة بشأن قرارها األخري و أن الخارجية أبلغتها بأن القوانني‬ ‫األمريكية ال تحظر قدوم اإليرانيني إىل البالد لتلقي الدراسة يف مجاالت العلوم و الهندسة»‪ .‬و كان مجلس الشيوخ األمرييك سن قوانني قانونا يف أغسطس ‪٢٠١٢‬‬ ‫يحظر مبوجبه منح تأشريات دخول اإليرانيني بنية تلقي التعليم يف مجاالت الطاقة و الذرة بأمريكا و العمل الحقا يف إيران‪ .‬يوجد بكلية أمهرست ‪ ٦٠‬طالبا إيرانيا‬ ‫حيث القى قرار عدم قبولهم بالتخصصات املذكورة معارضة واسعة من قبل الطالب أنفسهم و حتى بعض األكادمييني‪.‬‬

‫سكان بوسطن ممنوعون من القفز عرب النوافذ‬ ‫شهدت مدينة الصقيع و الربد و الثلوج‪ ،‬بوسطن بوالية ماساتشوسيت حالة طقس نادرة هذه السنة‬ ‫يف فصل الشتاء و حسب تاريخ املدينة مل يسبق لها أن عرفت طقس مشابه يف ماضيها املعارص‪ .‬و‬ ‫قد بلغ ارتفاع كثبان الثلوج يف املدينة ثالث أمتار عىل األقل مام أدى إىل تعطيل «امليرتو» و حركة‬ ‫املرور و الدراسة و العمل الخ‪ .‬و يف هذا السياق‪ ،‬ناشد مارتن وولش‪ ،‬عمدة املدينة‪ ،‬الساكنة إىل‬ ‫توخي الحيطة و الحذر من أجل سالمتهم و ركز باألخص عىل ظاهرة القفز عرب النوافذ التي اتخذها‬ ‫البعض طريقة لإلستمتاع بكثافة الثلوج‪ .‬يرى املسؤول األول باملدينة أن الظاهرة ليست مسلية‬ ‫عىل اإلطالق بل تعرض الساكنة إىل خطر اإلصابة باألذى‪ .‬ردة فعل العمدة هاته جاءت مبارشة‬ ‫بعد تلقيه ببالغات عاجلة من شهود عيان و أجهزة الطوارىء ما جعله يتوجه إىل عني مكان وقوع‬ ‫الحوادث بسبب الظاهرة‪ .‬دعوته للكف عن هكذا نشاط جاءت أيضا بعد انتشار واسع لتسجيالت‬ ‫فيديوهات عىل أثري النت تجسد مواطنني ميرحون بتلك الطريقة بعد تكدس الثلوج يف األزقة‪ .‬قال وولش‪« :‬إن اللعب بهذه الطريقة يشمل خطرا عىل مامرسيه‬ ‫و قد يؤدي إىل الوفاة» مؤكدا أن بوسطن ليست منتجعا شتويا و إمنا هي مدينة تحاول البلدية العمل عىل تخليصها من الثلوج املرتاكمة‪.‬‬

‫بوسطن يف رصاع مع البياض‬ ‫شهر فرباير كان شهر العواصف الثلجية ببوسطن‪ .‬أكرث من عاصفة رضبت املدينة و نواحيها بشكل‬ ‫متتايل و بدون انقطاع ملدة تجاوزت االسبوعني و بكثافة جعل الساكنة تعيش حالة رصاع مع‬ ‫الطبيعة‪ .‬و من بوسطن‪ ،‬أعلن حاكم الوالية‪ ،‬السيد شاريل بييكر عن حالة طوارئ منعت خاللها‬ ‫السياقة والتجوال و عطلت املؤسسات و غلقت املدارس باستثناء بعض املرافق الرضورية كاألمن و‬ ‫اإلسعاف و املستشفيات‪ .‬حاكم الوالية و ألول مرة اضطر ملطالبة النجدة و املساعدة من الواليات‬ ‫املجاورة قصد حصوله عىل جرافات إضافية و حامالت للثلوج بهدف التصدي بشكل أقوى للكميات‬ ‫الهائلة من البياض الذي ساد الشوارع و األزقة بشكل مل يسبق للمدينة أن عرفته يف تاريخها‬ ‫الحديث‪ .‬و حسب مختصني بالظاهرة فإ َّن طول تراكم الثلوج إىل حد االن وصل سبعة أقدام أو أكرث‪.‬‬ ‫أيضا‪ ،‬مباليغ مالية ضخمة رصفت إلزالت الثلوج املرتاكمة فاقت الثالثني مليون دوالر أمرييك‪.‬‬ ‫‪3 | Zarah Magazine | March 2015‬‬
