Friday: Canyoning
When and where is the programme taking place? From the 27th of June until the 2nd of September 2016 at the times and meeting points specified in the programme.
Who can participate? All youngsters between 12 and 16 years holidaying the Achensee region are welcome to join. For our children from 4 to 11 years we have organized the children’s programme. For more information please refer to the children’s programme folder.
Where can I register? You must register by 5.00 p.m. at the latest on the previous day at the local Information office or by telephone +43 (5246) 5300-0. Note: the number of participants is limited! Plenty of action today - abseiling, climbing, jumping, sliding, swimming and diving into the “Weißenbach” Gorge. Then after a short ascent we will vertically drop 15 m from a bridge and as highlight of the day followed by an abseil of 30 m straight into the waterfall. Where do I pay? A contribution towards costs must be paid at the local Information office. You will receive a confirmation, and you are requested to hand this over to the supervisor/guide. You can only join the programme if you have a valid confirmation of payment confirming confirming your participation.
What should I bring with me? A packed lunch and sturdy suitable shoes. Please bring swimming gear on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. For canyoning, shoes should be water resistant. Please notice the information indicated in the programme.
What else is important? If the weather is extremely bad or there are not enough participants (min. 2 persons), we reserve the right to cancel the programme at short notice. The organizer accepts no liability for accidents of any kind!

Longing for parent-free, sheer action-packed fun? Then come and take part in our youth programme. There’s an abundance of activities in the Achensee region. We look forward to sharing some exciting days with you.
Monday: Segway Tour Today we are off into the countryside on so-called “Segways”. These two-wheeled vehicles are at the same time trendy, ingenious and environmentally-friendly, and can be steered in any direction simply by transferring your weight. Tuesday: Learn 2 Kite - trial session SUP Off into the water with board and paddle and we will start our first exercises! Starting, heading off, paddling techniques, and very quickly we will have covered the first few metres. Stand up paddle boarding is calming and a full-body workout at the same time. Thursday: Adventure is calling! We will explore the nature around the “Tirolean sea” with our kayaks. We will manoeuvre quickly in the direction “Gaisalm” mountain hut. But stop - we almost forgot to solve the tasks in order to reach the goal! Wednesday: Climbing adventure Safety harness on, and off you go! Warm up with some tree climbing with safety equipment, then it’s on to the climbing course and abseiling into the dizzy depths. Who will dare to go first? This is followed by a thrilling traverse of the gorge on the flying fox zip-line.
