Dear Family, We thank you for your enquiry and give you in the following a brief description of our hotel. Club Hotel Ancora is an elegant and comfortable 3-star hotel, located amidst a wonderful vegetation, just 700m from "La Pelosa", the famous Stintino sandy beach. An easy walk through the park and a pedestrian underground passage will lead you to the hotel's private beach, only 300 m away. Free parking lot at the hotel All rooms are located in 2-story-buildings in typical Sardinian style and are equipped with private facilities, telephone, sat tv, safe, balcony, air conditioning. Family rooms are also available and consist of one double, one twin- or three-bedded room and one bathroom. Our superior rooms are completely refurbished, with bathrobe and slippers, fruit bowl and more (see our price list) The semi-Olympic seawater swimming pool is located by the beach, surrounded by a sun terrace with umbrellas and deck chairs. The hotel is located at 2 Km outside Stintino, 40 Km from Alghero airport and 140 Km from Olbia. Transfers from airports or Porto Torres harbour (30 Km) are available on request. Cuisine Our staff will be happy to serve you the best recipes from the Mediterranean cuisine. A rich breakfast buffet is served in the air conditioned dining room facing the garden, or in the open air. All lunch and dinner buffets include an ample choice of vegetables, entrées, pasta and fish or meat. Dessert is homemade on a daily basis. In high season (mid June – mid September) a big barbecue is available in the garden, with daily fresh meat and fish from our region. At our bar you will be offered a choice of cocktails, while enjoying our piano bar evenings. Typical dinner evenings with regional Sardinian menus are organized weekly. Special dietary needs? Give us a call and we’ll be happy to accommodate them! Animation (Mid June – Mid September) Our animation staff provides entertainment at the beach: sports tournaments, excursions, group dances, water gym. Join our evening activities with shows, dances and much more! Children 4-12 years have the opportunity to spend time at our miniclub, under the supervision of a baby-sitter that will entertain them with several activities. In high season a special children's menu is available at our restaurant. Sports Free at your disposal: beach volley, water gym, step, canoeing. Free tennis and five-a-side football courts, to be booked at the hotel. At the Asinara diving center, by the beach, you will be able to rent snorkelling and diving equipment or small boats for your excursions to the Asinara island, now a National Park. In the period 2/6 – 20/9 our shuttle service provides transportation to the Pelosa beach. Rooms are available from 1.00 pm on arrival day till 10.00 on departure day. The full board arrangement starts from lunch on arrival day, unless otherwise requested upon reservation. The half board arrangement can be taken at lunch or dinner, your choice.
