PERSONAL STATEMENT
WORK EXPERIENCE
Identity, function, and geometric designs can participate to achieve an ideal image of a nation that has deep roots in history. Saudi Arabian architecture has not integrated its identity fully in its buildings, rather it had followed the international language of architecture. Bear in mind that the designs and methods used to implement such style were not achieved correctly. However, to create an abstract form of identity for the Saudi culture under the vision 2030 we should combine in a high order the function and geometric designs to permits its international image to flourish. Creating an identity with kind correspond to the contemporary architectural atmosphere of the country with the traditional values of the Saudis to meet these standards is not an easy task to accomplish, and yet it can be accomplished successfully according to the international language followed before. I am an architecture student expected to graduate in mid 2021 with a bachelor degree in architecture. I am interested in Architecture since it has the ability to form a culture and deliver a Message, and I believe that Rationalism, functionalism, and minimalism are the way to do this. Like wise I am interested in Arts as they can convey the same message in a simpler way. In addition Graphic design has been a tool that I enjoy using in the past several ears to represent my work for others.

Riyadh Google Campus A graduation project that was completed during the year 2021, the project is located in Riyadh city with a spectacular view toward King Abdullah Financial District and as a driving force for the concept of this project. Farther information can be provided if requested.

STATEMENT The Nature of the surrounding area encourages the structure intended to be placed int this location to be visually communicative wit it. King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) is a fascinating view that needs to be framed from far, and the Northern ring road has the potential to hold the tallest skyscrapers in Riyadh. Therefore, creating a frame overlooking these architectural locations would be extremely satisfying and calming for the employees and visitors. In addition, The liner structure in which would respond to so many other views has the potential to view on 5 different directions in one spot. However, by doing so, a spiritual feeling will be experienced by all users in which will definitely increase moral.

Form Google campus was originally created to occupy the employees and the Entrepreneurs inside the complex. The form approach was created through the offset of the site and the alignment of the building with King Abdullah financial district. KAFD is a major drive in thve concept and it has allowed a great experience to be Observed by the user of google campus through the functions placed in the observatory.

Facade Mechanism The mechanism in which the facade operates is allowing it to be sustainable and interactive with the perceived nature and light.. There are 3 variations in which the facade might adapt to the light::
Variation #1 The panels can move outward and inward creating a treatment on the facade that would be aesthetic and adaptive to light.
Variation #2 There are multiple variations of the plates within the plate holder, allowing for longer plates and more variations of the pattern controlled.
Variation #3 The mechanism in which the whole plate can function is allowing it to rotate in place to block undesired sunlight from the south elevation.

CASCADE This project is a result of the cooperation of EnerG group, 3 students of KFUPM to intraduce the most sustainable future-like project. This project lasted 4 months and was created during the COVID-19 Pendemic. The students cooperated in this project are (Ziyad Alroqi, Turki Abdullah, Elyas Almadani).

PROBLEM STATEMENT The size of the project is craving for social hierarchy and needs to be treated in a connected manner. The project functions are vastly separated in regard to social behavior and needs to be logically merged or integrated. The Saudi culture is an important feature to be demonstrated in the project, so it is important to consider cultural references. Affordability is an important issue to take in mined for nowadays designs, because the Saudi community is becoming more independent in early ages, so it is essential to create that social hub for them to live in with affordable living expenses.
PROJECT STATEMENT This project will create affordable units that are laid out in a central approach from all functions to allow equal transition for all community members. This connection will increase social encounter that will develop relationships between residents and visitors. However, sustainability will play an important role in such community for it to operate properly. The hierarchal system followed will be engaging and private in some respects if the need required.
CONCEPT Cascade: An overlapping plates that create the complex connection “to be a mini city”. To provide energy saving methods and to create a social connection between the people of the complex

ORIGINAL APPROACH
FINAL APPROACH
Starting the project from the plate system which created a non realistic sculpture and a hard to build structure. Using the plates first as the main system and niglecting the functions hels in the buildings
Starting with the Buildings and creating the functions as the main activity. This approach has allowed many systems to be integerated within the project in a rational mannar.
