Implementation of Sustainable Mobility in Education
Sustainable mobility is an approach to designing sustainable neighbourhoods, and therefore plays an important role in every society. Hence, this monograph is an important tool for all people with the power to introduce sustainability into the design of transport networks, since education is the starting point for everything. But, merely learning about sustainable mobility is not enough, what is needed is action on the ground. Slovenia, the green destination deserves it! ddr. Ana Vovk KorĹže Sustainable mobility is a paradigm of modern times, which first and foremost calls for experts who plan for future development, people in positions of power who adopt and implement decisions, as well as residents with their daily routines, bad habits and actions to all change or embrace entirely new modes of thinking and behaving. When it comes to making sustainable mobility a reality, education plays an extremely important role. Its importance is increasingly emphasised for raising the overall quality of life for individuals and society, as well as for developing responsible attitudes towards the living environment.
