BRUSSELS Historic yet hip, bureaucratic yet bizarre, self-confident yet unshowy, Brussels is multicultural to its roots! The cityscape swings from majestic to quirky to rundown and back again. Art deco facades face off against 1960s concrete developments, and regal 19th-century mansions contrast with the shimmering glass of the EU building. Sweet Daphne and Pascale from John Ooms Agency in Belgium has ageed to let us in on their go to places in Brussels - I must admit, I can’t wait to go!
Where would you spend an evening out? ”Le FUSE is one of the city’s techno temples, and the biggest names in the field (without exception) play DJ sets there: le Fuse is a must for any decent, self-respecting clubber. The unique atmosphere attracts those in the know, and they come from far and wide. The end-of-the-night crescendos, as things approach hysteria, are legendary. Due to Covid19 restrictions le Fuse is doing Plein Air (open air) by Fuse. DJ scored liveliness and a relaxing kick-back-with-cocktails atmosphere in the lovely surroundings of Tour & Taxis. Sip some drinks and have a bubble dance!”
