Professional Experience:

Jonnet is the Centre-in-Charge at Christian Action’s Centre for Refugees. She is responsible for strategic programme development and implementation, annual business planning,operational budgeting,as well as managing various programmes and volunteer coordination.

Jonnet has worked both on the frontline of the provision of direct services and also in management roles.

Jonnet has spent over twelve years working in various social and humanitarian welfare organisations in Hong Kong. She has served a number of beneficiary groups in Hong Kong including youth, refugees, victims of human trafficking and migrant domestic workers.

Jonnet also personally helps in the local Hong Kong Filipino community by educating domestic helpers and permanent residents on their rights and methods of accessing available resources. She has also raised funds for some distressed migrant workers to return home to the Philippines safely and for the survivors of one of the biggest calamities to ever hit the country - Typhoon Yolanda.

Jonnet is a graduate of De La Salle University, Philippines where she obtained a degree in International Studies major in Consular & Diplomatic Affairs. Jonnet has lived in Hong Kong for 13 years and is a mother of two boys. One of them is currently studying at the University of Hong Kong.

Voluntary Contributions to Hong Kong:

Volunteer, Represented Hong Kong in Dragon-Boat-International Races around Malaysia, Macau, and Hong Kong, 2008, 2010, 2012.
