Professional Experience:

Jagmeet is experienced in both commercial and technical shipping. In commercial shipping, Jagmeet is experienced in ship chartering, sale and purchase, ship finance and operating leases. On the technical side of shipping, Jagmeet has been responsible for ship management, ship building, and ship conversions.

Jagmeet is a regular contributor to various publications and frequently speaks at international conferences. Jagmeet is dedicated to promoting education in his trade, through conducting seminars, workshops and lectures for shipping professionals and students. His new firm SkillsPlus is a testimony to this dedication.

Jagmeet attended the CASS Business School, UK in his fifties along with his young son where he earned a Master’s Degree in Energy Trade & Finance. Jagmeet ranked first in a class of over one hundred and fifty university students.

Jagmeet speaks fluent Hindi, Punjabi and conversational Japanese, Bengali and Marathi.

Jagmeet is married with 2 grown up children.
