Deepak grew up in Hong Kong and Switzerland and has worked in Chile, Poland, Czech Republic, Dubai and China. He specializes in mentoring and investing in Startups and Early stage Entrepreneurs. Deepak spent a significant amount of his early career in manufacturing and product design, and owns companies in design and supply of high quality furniture to globally recognised retail brands.

Deepak is driven to address the big questions of environmental impact and the disparity of economic development and innovation in societies.

Deepak graduated from Georgetown University, Washington D.C where he obtained a degree in Finance and International Business. Deepak speaks Spanish and conversational Mandarin. Deepak is married and is a father of 3 young boys.

Deepak has been recognised as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, as a Global Visionary by UBS Bank and is a Juror for the Global Teacher Prize.
