Design Statement

Superb Fairy-wern is good species for urban environment and rewilding. This species can be introduced form the nearby royal botanical garden. This site design mianly aim at to create a firendly environment for poeple and this species. The main design concept is a continue green habitat corridor, because of females super fairy-wern need to find new families in the first year.

Considering the surrounding resident, this deisgn alos include human’s activities place. Various dense vegetations, like shrubs, are planted along the street, those dense plants are important elements for greening, protection measure, birds’s habitat and urban heat island. Considering the hatching temperature environment, water facilities, such as pond and irrigation system, are also key to adjust the surrounding temperature, and reduce the impact of urban heat isalnd. Besides, there are many detail design for this species, like artifical nesting and protection wire fence.
