DESIGN CONCEPT

The main concept of my building design is connection and interlace between each building. In this project, circle is my main shape. The isotropic nature of the circles makes it possible to contact and arrange the circles in an unoriented and compact way. In my design, every different building function are achieved between the interlacing of circles and circles, and every single building with a different function is connected by main circular corridor. In this way, the design of connection and interlace can makes the circulation and communication efficient.

For ground design, connection alos is main concept of this ground design is connection. I use floating form to create semi-open space for central gallery area, and also can separate private space and public space. I combined the stairs and landscape. In this way, the semi-open big step area make interior space to have better connection with exterior landscape. The design of the landscape is also designed according to the exterior pattern of building. This way makes the building and landscape connected.
