Topographic Wetness Index (TWI) calculated based on 2 feet digital elevation model, consider flower direction and flow accumulation. Darker blue indicates the area with high possibility of accumulating storm water when raining.
CIRCULATION ANALYSIS
Drive way is essential for car wash business. Drive way maintain the function. Therefore, all drive way should be the priority part for consideration before design. Ideally, do not move existing drive way and gate way to enter buildings.

DESIGNED FLOW & INFILTRATION Rainwater from roof will be carried to the nearby rain garden or rain barrels. Rain gardens are connected, when one over flow, the storm water will go to the next rain garden. Near the main parking lot are two infiltration basins, which can treat storm water from drive way and parking lot. Near the building water storage tank with 3000 gallon capacity in total. Retained or detained area Stormwater flow direction

Perspective-2 This perspective shows the front side of the carwash. Pedestrain pathway through rain garden provides an opportunity for people to enjoy the street landscape. Rain garden can deal the stormwater from the roof, and Warren Ave. Plants selected with suitable hight, attract view, and do not block the building advertisement.
Perspective-3 Street parking lot also provided, for legibility and convenience. Rain garden in front of building can deal the roof run-off. Depaved area planted with trees can increase the canopy cover for the whole site.

DESIGNED CIRCULATION Enter & Exit Exit only
Enter & Exit Parking lot Drive way
This design largely reduce the number of parking lot, just maintain the parking spot enough specific for car wash and detailing business. Parking lot is close to the customer main entrance. Wall near the parking lot is removed to provide legibility for people. We add one more two way entrance/exit close to the customer entrance at south west corner, and one more one way exit on the east side of car wash area. Working space and drive way are maintained.
DESIGNED FLOW & INFILTRATION
Retained or detained area Stormwater flow direction
Rainwater from roof will be carried to the nearby rain garden; near street planting infiltration area can retain storm water from street. Because we remove a large portion of parking lot, we change it to large infiltration basin, which can treat storm water from drive way and rain garden when over flow. orage tank with 3000 gallon capacity in total.
