The speech of the General Manager..& CEO. Engineer

PRESIDENT & CHAIRMAN

Qusay al-Saadi

CEO AND GENERAL MANAGER

The “MSk “ Since its inception, has played a prominent role in contributing to the implementation of the strategy of economic diversification. The strategy is represented in the effective management of the company’s investment projects, the creation of partnerships between the public and private sector, and the direct investment of the group. The success of “MSk” is demonstrated in its management of the subsidiaries of the group; the “ msk’’, which is working in the oil and gas sector also embodies a perfect example of partnership between the public and private sectors. In addition, the portfolio of the direct investments of MSK includes the development and expansion of the oil sector, which represents one of the most prominent and largest integrated companies in the oil industry in Iraq. The “MSk” future plans are centered on achieving further excellence and prosperity and also seek to expand the current projects and target more of the new strategic investments that enhance the economic capacity of the company and contribute to boost the national economy. Perhaps what distinguishes the “MSK” from the other oil companies in Iraq, is the multiplicity of the investment methods, which ranged between direct investment, as is the case in the Gulf region, and through the distinctive and successful partnership investments with the private sector. Today as we are on the threshold of a new phase with our high spirit and an ambitious vision, we promise that we will continue to work and redouble our efforts to remain at the forefront of the working on the development of the private sector and on the fertile source, which is inexhaustible, to create economic entities, with value-added, to contribute to the creation of investment opportunities, the rehabilitation of the national staff and employing them, and strengthen the nation’s march towards sustainable development.

7 Risk Assessment Policy The idea of not increasing lifetime risk by more than one in a million has become commonplace in public health discourse and policy. It is a heuristic measure. It provides a numerical basis for establishing a negligible increase in risk. Environmental decision-making allows some discretion for deeming individual risks potentially "acceptable" if less than one in ten thousand chance of increased lifetime risk. Low risk criteria such as these provide some protection for a case where individuals may be exposed to multiple chemicals e.g. pollutants, food additives or other chemicals. In practice, a true zero-risk is possible only with the suppression of the risk-causing activity.

Stringent requirements of 1 in a million may not be technologically feasible or may be so prohibitively expensive as to render the riskcausing activity unsustainable, resulting in the optimal degree of intervention being a balance between risks vs. benefit. For example, emissions from hospital incinerators result in a certain number of deaths per year. However, this risk must be balanced against the alternatives. There are public health risks, as well as economic costs, associated with all options. The risk associated with no incineration is potential spread of infectious diseases, or even no hospitals. Further investigation identifies options such as separating noninfectious from infectious wastes, or air pollution controls on a medical incinerator. Intelligent thought about a reasonably full set of options is essential. Thus, it is not unusual for there to be an iterative process between analyses, consideration of options, and follow up analysis.

10Procurement Policy Statement It is MSK Groups’ ambition to work on lasting relationships with a selected number of construction partners, in which entrepreneurship and specific knowledge in the field of product, market and process are leading. The making and implementing of the right choices in this are the success factors of the procurement policy. Within decentralisedorganisational structure, the procurement column is organisedin accordance with the coordination principle. No choice has been made for either centralised procurement or decentralised procurement. The level at which to pursue strategic procurement processes is determined for each sub-segment. The MSK Procurement model can therefore be best qualified as a 'coordinated' approach. The benefits of scales of economy are derived by pursuing procurement activities in such a manner

MSK Group 26

that, on the one hand, local management retains the flexibility and control of its processes and, on the other hand, the entire MSK Group organization enjoys the quantitative and qualitative economies of scale. Due to the nature of the sector in which MSK Group is active, primary processes focus on obtaining and completing projects in as efficient and effective a manner as possible. Accordingly, procurement activities should share this focus. As many projects pursued within and outside a specific region or by an operating company, respectively, have shared procurement segments and processes, combining them can generate substantial and structural procurement economies of scale. This applies to supply/equipment supplies, subcontractors, suppliers involved in the supporting facility management process and intra-organisational sup

Cementing and acid treatments job design, Cement slurry design, developing and testing, Cementing jobs, Acid treatments jobs, Cementing and acid treatments operation parameters monitoring and recording Cement plugs, All types of pumping works.

Mud logging In the framework of our Logging-Service, we perform the classical Formation-Logging Service for the continuous geological maintenance, documentation and storage of the drilled geological formations. The recording of the drilled geological formations is essentially based on cuttings and on recovered cores. A drilling fluid gas monitoring service and a drilling progress measurement device (ROP) are deployed if required. If a further on-site processing is required, our Drilling-Monitoring-System with extensive software is available. Formation-Logging Service Depth corrected or lagged sample recovery, sample preparation and processing, the litho logical analysis and the stratigraphic field definition of the samples are the basis of the documentation of the results. The samples are prepared, labeled, either unwashed (in plastic sample bags) or processed (dry samples in glass sample tubes or paper envelopes) and stored.

Further possible tests: • for shows of oil by the use of UV light • automated electronically analysis of the calcite/dolomite ratio (see GeoCalcit • Electronically determination of the cutting/shale density • potassium monitor • Core handling: description, photographic documentation (reflected and transmitted light e.g. salt cores), core sample preparation (e.g. waxing), logistics • Continuous graphical documentation in the form of a mud-log (SamplerLog/LithoLog) • Creation and transmission of reports by E-Mail or other means to the client and the clients’ offices. • Immediate reporting of geological and drilling technical irregularities and their documentation. • Separation, preparation and storage of sample material for further laboratory analysis according to the instructions of the client. • Competent core retrieval, cleaning and oriented storage in core boxes including complete labeling and description. • Photographic documentation of the core runs in reflected and transmitted light: classic or digital. Development, reproduction and storage according to the instructions of the client. MSK Group 86
