TKU 2018 SPRING EA4 PROJECT / Reichstag, New Taiwan Parliment Instructor : Ying-Chang Yu Site : No.1, Chungshan S. Rd., Taipei I am inspired by the artistʼs work. By anaylizing and understanding the elements of the work, I figure out the most important thought about the work, and it will help me to develop my design.

HUNG DESIGN

Relationship between architecture form and symbol is an important issue that we need to think about. It comes from our experience, but it can be changed by new system of architecture.

/ TAMKANG UNIVERSITY / 2016-2019

Parliament buildings have the intense symbolism. In nowadays, are those symbols essential. Parliament buildings will be a perfect experimental project. According to the demand of society nowadays, I combine different functions into the building. Peopleʼs cognition will be redifined in my design.

Look for an unfamiliar and familiar figure helplessly in this acquaint with again the unfamiliar city.

TKU 2018 SUMMER EA4 PROJECT / ART MUSEUMʼS ENTRANCE Instructor : Huai-Wen Chang Site : No.181, Sec. 3, Zhongshan N. Rd., Zhongshan Dist., Taipei City The project of the major museum generates the contemporary new building. The old building and the new building have subtle conversation that one is on the ground and another is underground. Under the relationship, the concept of the museum in woods becomes the connected bridge. HUNG DESIGN / TAMKANG UNIVERSITY / 2016-2019 15 I 42

Taipei Fine Arts Museum owns a vast grassland behind South Door. It is also the traffic intersection but lack of auxiliary space. Therefore, the project of the major museum solved the problem and the reversal of the relationship between South and North brings us a new imagination of the museum. The contention between artificial and natural has never stopped, and Postnature means to discuss the balance between artificial and natural to us. Nature fights back through the extreme weather, however, they could be no conflict if we create the ecosystem of the museum by the concept of landscape architecture and micro-detention to improve the relationship between artificial and natural. How to remodel South Door under the project of the major museum? Museum III is our challenge and our chance.

The white box spaces of the Northern Art Museum blocks the relationship between the indoor and the outdoor. The narrow line of the traffic limits the exhibit form. And,the feeling of heaviness on the material should be broken.

Fig2-4 From the MRT Yuanshan Station to the North American Pavilion, the cultural space which connects the south axis is the main traffic of tourist movements. The entrance of the new building is 110m away from the old building. In this project, there is no in-between space design, so the landscape becomes the role of connecting them.

Exploring the social issues of declining birthrate and social welfare, and thinking about the communion relationship between campus, social welfare space and mass transportation. Concerning about the security and future to the studentsĘź parents for the campus system. The school exists because of the community. The internal conďŹ guration needs to consider the needs of the community and aims at the concept of co-prosperity and sharing.

Fig4-1 Are destruction and reconstruction the only way to help this community ? Think about how to rebuild, and maybe it is another way to give this area a new life.

TKU 2016 SPRING EA1 PROJECT / Farming System Instructor : Tzen-Ying Ling Site : Country Side

HUNG DESIGN / TAMKANG UNIVERSITY / 2016-2019 37 I 42

Agriculture is essential to human prosperity and it is still the most important factor in the future of human existence, as a lack of sustainable agriculture industry system may cause obstacles to humans' future. This study contests that Aquaponic farming could provide the needed agriculture component for urban farming, as it can be easily adopted for urban conditions and be commanded by the users. Aguaponic farming reduces the use of chemical fertilizers and the waste of water resources by redeďŹ ning the relationship between humans and agriculture and how it can become part of the urbanscape.

TKU 2018 SPRING EA4 PROJECT / Climate Change Innovation Competition Instructor : Tzen-Ying Ling Site : Taipei City

HUNG DESIGN / TAMKANG UNIVERSITY / 2016-2019 39 I 42

The civilization breds the industrialization society, and high development is symbolizing the unprecedented prosperity. However, the humanity destroys the earth willfully, and it also lets us to face the unprecedented challenge due to the climate change. The city ecology will disintegrate in the end. The project starts to think about how to slove this kind of problems in the city, and wants to let it popularize. Every person can have their own green wall, so that will help the people to ďŹ lter air.

Fig7-1 The project encourages an increase in dialogue between urban dwellers as farmers and the city authorities for a widespread practice.Aside from the green wall, the design provides an interactive IOT application to allow itto detect the indoorenvironmental changes onany device.

Fig7-2 The project inspires from common window type in Taiwan. It is interesting due to their geometry. According to it, geometric study helps us ďŹ gure out our protype.
