Provide client support across South East Asia Pacific for technical, hydraulic lubrication systems and drive trains.
Mechanical Technician - Fixed Plant
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrate proficiency in high strength bolting on flanges and mill heads using ultrasonic bolt method.
Conduct maintenance on hydraulic pumps, install and remove 1280 or > bearings on shell supported mills.
Extensive experience installing and reversing ring gear and pinion change outs up to 30mw ball/sag mills.
Extensively work on hydac lube system and undertake diagnostics of laser survey of mills for measuring wear.
Overhaul mill gearboxes and associated components, assemble workshop builds/rebuilds for mill installations.
Perform high and low pressure lube pump rebuilds, conduct NDT inspections on mill girth gears.
Demonstrate competency working on breakdowns and critical equipment on shutdowns.
Conduct routine inspections on fixed plant assets as per client requirements.
Experience using pruftechnik rotalign ultra laser shaft alignment systems.
Perform on site machining of journals for installation of mill bearings.

Forge Group subsidiary Cimeco and its indigenous joint venture partner Pilbara Logistics won a $41 million construction contract with BHP Billiton Iron Ore. The contract covers non-process infrastructure at Port Hedland. The business area focuses on minerals processing for the mining industry, conducting a range of works such as preliminary suitability studies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the construction and installation of Gas Turbines, working on LNG plant and critical equipment.
Assemble the main frame and pinion gears and demonstrate experienced in laser line motor and drive shaft.
Perform on-site welding and fabrication functions including TIG, MIG, stick, flux core and oxy welding.
Assist Dogman to install equipment for heavy lifts, setting up barricading and exclusion zones.
Install two 40,000 ton per day crushing circuits and install associated lube lines and circuits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct routine and corrective maintenance on live plant and equipment on live LNG/LPG production facilities at Kwinana Refinery
Perform in-situ machining of ASME raised race flanges to the relevant standards, nominal bore ranging from 3/4" up to 65" inclusive; in both carbon steel and stainless steel, maintain high-pressure gas systems and complete Train Engine Change outs.
Overhaul and maintain cryogenic equipment, perform workshop rebuilds in various cryogenic pumps and valves
Contribute as a Leading Hand for refurbishment of LNG cryogenic road fleet, diagnose and maintain LPG Road and storage tanks.
Perform initial testing, functional checks and system flushing on a variety of systems and sub-systems in accordance with the relevant ITR's and test plans and conduct vibration monitoring of rotating equipment to ensure conformance to ISO standards
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical pneumatic equipment and utilise Mirage internal/external mount flange facing machinery.
Maintenance of LNG vapor supply for power generations on mine sites, construct and install gas generation equipment.
Readily liaise with Technicians, Instrument & Electrical Technicians in order to achieve maintenance goals.
Perform laser alignments on shafts and rotating equipment such as Turbines Pumps and Compressors.
Repair and maintain heavy vehicle LNG gas refuelers, cryogenic road tankers and LNG prime movers
Proficiency in all core welding and fabrication functions, including TIG, MIG, stick, flux core and oxy.
Read and interpret engineering drawings including Isometrics, P&IDs and assembly drawings.
Perform calibration and repairs, Worked as on-site service technician on live gas plants.
Operate lathes, milling machines and associated equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
Conduct flange management, including torque and tension to site specifications.

• Contributed as a Welder on the Montara Decommissioning and Topside Installation/Hook up, during decommissioning of the burnt out platform assisted in strengthening the existing jacket/topside to make ready for the landing of the new topside.
• Welded 200 tonne lifting trunnions and other various support structures and welded new topside out once the redundant topside was cut free then assisted with the hook-up phase which included connecting the risers and all the new pipework/spools.
