My name is Mia Mackie and this is my 8th year in the Reno Multiple 4-H Club. We had a lot of fun this year a learned some new things.
My favorite part of 4-H is the public speaking. I made it to provincials again this year and this time I placed 3rd.
This year I have a steer, Heifer, and 2 cow calf pairs. I raised all my project and they all have my brand the reverse 7M on them.
My steers name is Porky and he is a Hereford. I am very proud of this steer I raised, he is finished and should weigh about 1250.
I would like to invite everyone to District 10 Regional Fair on June 13 in Maple Creek. Porky will sell with a slaughter date on June 14 at Ranch House Meats in Shaunavon and we can deliver him.
When you purchase a 4-H beef you support youth in agriculture, a local butcher, and receive quality beef for a fraction of the store cost.Hi my name is Ava Mackie and I am 8 years old this is my 2nd year in 4-H. My favorite part of 4-H this year was our Bingo & Bake sale. I loved calling the numbers for the Bingo. I have learned a lot and had a lot of fun this year.
This year I have a huge steer named Moose. He is a Hereford that I bought from my friends Craig & Carrie Braun. He was my pick of the steers. Moose has been lots of fun to work on. Moose ate hay, grass, grain, and he drank water. He will weigh about 1450.
Moose is really quiet and loves butt scratches. My favorite part of working on him is letting him go. I always yell MOOSE MOOSE, There is a Moose on the loose.
Moose sells June 13 in Maple Creek with a slaughter date on June 14 at Ranch House Meats in Shaunavon and we can deliver him.
