HELLO HELLO DIVISION 18! WELCOME TO MY SPOOKY OCTOBER NEWSLETTER! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE FALL/HALLOWEEN SO MUCH. MY FAVORITE PART IS DEFINITELY DRESSING UP. ANYWHO, I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT WE ARE HALFWAY THROUGH THE SERVICE YEAR, AND I'M SO PROUD OF OUR DIVISION. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! SOME IMPORTANT REMINDERS GOING INTO THIS MONTH ARE THE FOLLOWING. IF YOU ARE MISSING SOME OF YOUR MRF SUBMISSIONS (CHECK THE PAPERWORK CHART AT THE END OF THE NEWSLETTER) PLEASE GET THEM COMPLETED ASAP. THEY ARE CONSIDERED LATE AT THIS POINT. ALSO IF YOUR CLUB HAS HELD ELECTIONS, PLEASE FILL OUT THE ERF FORM. IF YOUR CLUB IS HOLDING MEETINGS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW, I WOULD LOVE TO ATTEND VIRTUALLY TO SEE WHAT YOU ARE UP TO. Upcoming Events Fall Rally
This year Fall Rallies cannot be held in person. Don't fret, we're bringing a District-wide event to you! Fall Rally is on November 21-22 from 1-5pm. You will get to attend workshops, listen to keynote speakers, and hang with Key Clubbers from around the District!
Key Club Week November 2nd-6th
Key Club Week gives you the opportunity to show your community what Key Club is truly about: service. Each day places an emphasis on service, to promote Key Club within our homes, schools and communities and to make Key Club a household name.

Service Spotlight Maggie Syrett Harley Key Club President Division 23 Due to the pandemic, Harley Key Club was nervous of how service events and fundraisers would work. However, we just had our very first successful fundraiser event of the school year! We organized a three-hour long car wash and raised over $900! With the work of our club officers, advisors, and members, we were able to keep everyone safe and masked the entire event. The money we raised will go towards paying club dues, and other future projects we plan to have the rest of the year. Such as partnering with Happy Birthday Cha Cha Cha to give birthday presents to inner-city children in the Greater Rochester area and Thanksgiving Baskets for families at the Demetri House to have a Thanksgiving meal. Harley Key Club is looking forward to another great service year and is very excited that our first service event of the school year was a success!

Internatinal Partners
Squads Abroad-Squads Abroad is the world' s leading expert in international volunteering. Key Club has teamed up with Squads Abroad to create the largest High School Movement improving Health and Education. Doing this, it creates opportunities to develop cross-cultural experience. Squads Abroad has many different programs for volunteering, like Global Health, Global Education, and much more!
Nickelodeon-Nickelodeon has two huge campaigns that trys to get kids involved. They are called the Worldwide Day of Play and Nickelodeon' s Get Dirty campaign. Their mission is to make the world a more playful place by leading active, playful events across the country. They also try to educate kids and families about what they can do to protect the earth one step at a time.
