Premium Homes works to minimise VOCs – undesirable chemicals that are bad for human health and contribute to global warming – by promoting the use of lowVOC paints and using wool insulation and wallboard materials that don’t emit VOCs. Less carbon dioxide is used to make the construction materials that are part of the ForeverbreatheTM system used by Premium Homes. Additionally, the type of wallboard used – Magnum Board – provides enhanced airtightness without relying on plastic wraps. “Magnum Board is also CO2 negative, non-combustible, mould and insect-proof and free of nasty chemicals.
