Of course, it wouldn’t be summer without a great party. We’ve put together beautiful place settings sure to serve up style at your next fête. (See Sunny Settings, pg. 47.) Finally, we’re always on the lookout for fun vintage pieces to round out our wardrobe. In this issue, we highlight one of our favorite vintage collections (and the epitome of summer cool): playful vintage watches. (See Watch Me, pg. 54.) We hope you enjoy the issue!
Hello and welcome to the second issue of MeetMinnie magazine! We’re thrilled you stopped by! Summer is upon us. Beautiful summer. Colorful, easy, laid-back summer. It’s the season of fun. Of bright, sunny days and lingering nights. It’s the season of travel and discovery. We relax. We reexamine. We rejuvenate. In this issue of MeetMinnie magazine, we celebrate the glories of the season. Our first story is a tribute to the easy summer day. We’ve laid out key wardrobe pieces, both vintage and new, that are sure to knock ‘em dead around the beach bonfire. (See A Day at the Beach, pg. 16.) Summer is a great time to try your hand at DIY. With that in mind, we’ve compiled nine simple projects perfect for those rainy summer afternoons. (See 9 Designs, pg. 25.)
On a personal note, I would like to extend my continued thanks to the many artists, designers, shops, advertisers, friends and family members who have helped make MeetMinnie magazine a possibility. We would not be here without your support, and I cannot thank you enough.
To our readers, thank you for taking the time to check out MeetMinnie magazine. As always, if you have comments, questions or suggestions, please feel free to email us at hello@meetminnie.com. We’d love to hear from you! To read more about the story behind MeetMinnie magazine, see Questions, pg. 68. Happy summer! Have a great one...and send us a postcard! XOXO,
Michelle Musson P.S. Stop by in December for the next issue of MeetMinnie magazine! In the meantime, keep up with us at Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and on our blog! (See pg. 72 for links.)

What is MeetMinnie? Launched in December 2012, MeetMinnie is a fresh & colorful online style magazine.
How do I advertise my shop, website, etc., in MeetMinnie magazine? Thank you for your interest in advertising in MeetMinnie magazine. We currently offer both fullpage ads and mini ads. For a complete press kit, including info on ad rates, artwork guidelines and deadlines, please email us at advertising@meetminnie.com.
Questions.
Who is Minnie? Minnie is our muse, a character we created for the magazine. In our minds, Minnie is that girl, the one who makes a $5 T-shirt look couture. The one who rocks a choppy pixie cut with ease. Leather shorts? No problem. Mixing prints? In her sleep. She’s the one who takes chances. The one who pulls it all off with attitude alone. But why does she get to have all the fun? We’re all a bit Minnie. And there the concept for MeetMinnie was born. Can I buy MeetMinnie magazine in print? Not at this time. MeetMinnie is exclusively an online publication, available at www.meetminnie.com. How can I get my shop or brand featured in MeetMinnie magazine? We are always on the lookout for new shops, products and brands to feature in the pages of MeetMinnie. If you think your shop or brand fits our aesthetic, email us at submissions@meetminnie.com. Be sure to include a link to your site or lookbook.
How often is MeetMinnie magazine published? When will the next issue be online? MeetMinnie magazine is published semiannually. The next issue will be online in December 2013. How do I keep up with the latest news at MeetMinnie magazine? It’s easy! For the latest news and information about MeetMinnie magazine, take a minute to sign up for our mailing list. For even more behind-the-scenes looks at the magazine, visit our blog. Also, follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest! (See page 72 for links.)
