SUNSHINE & SHOWERS AS THOUSANDS TURN OUT FOR BALMORAL SHOW
The 153rd Balmoral Show organised by the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society in partnership with Ulster Bank was another resounding success, attracting over 100,000 visitors from all over Ireland and farther afield.
The four day event, which returned to its traditional May date, remains Northern Ireland’s largest agri-food show, with something for everyone. As usual, there was also a strong presence from many of our leading plant and machinery dealers and manufacturers who scored some significant sales successes, with plenty of leads to follow up in the days ahead. Trade stands at the show were busy throughout the four days and as is tradition they were judged on their design and product displays. This year, the award for the Best Trade Stand displaying equipment and vehicles went to Dennison JCB, with the Best Overall Stand award going to Gibson Paving, while Moore Concrete were Highly Commended. Plant & Civil Engineer was there to capture the show on camera.
