First and foremost we would like to thank all of our buyers from last years sale, both repeat and new. With last years calves finding new homes in 4 provinces and 2 states, this spring/summer was full of accomplishments and success at 4-H, Junior, and prospect shows across western Canada and the United States. Along with Jordan Buba and Nuhaven Cattle Co. we are also very excited to be working with a number of new consignors who are all past customers and good friends of Hiller Hay Farms. Dwayne Martin and family of Martin Cattle Services, Ty Dietrich of Redrich Red Angus, Jakob Meinczinger of Diamond Nine Shorthorns, Andie Hadway of Westway Farms, and Ellen Jabs who has been a part of our operation for a number of years. Bringing in calves from different programs has brought together a very diverse and unique group of calves that are sure to impress whether you are looking for your next prospect or 4-H project. As our heifer bull for last years breeding, we were very excited to see what he could do in the heifer pen with his American Simmental outcross pedigree. What we didn’t expect was he would have 4 calves make the sale! Maya is a soggy, soft made heifer with lots of middle. She has a great temperament and will certainly turn into a great cow.

Both “Stout” and “Tank” have been bought by Tell Calvert from Drayton Valley, AB. He has had plenty of success from the past 2 springs both in 4-H and dozens of jackpot shows. Much like her brothers before her Nora will not go unnoticed in the ring.
