A totally safe, mastered & controlled process The IMV R&D team, staffed with chemists and experts in reproduction develops all the formulas (sometimes in collaboration with universities or national institutes). To guarantee the highest quality of media, IMV has its own production lab. Its multiple activities consist in IVF (in vitro fertilization), ART (assisted reproduction techniques), ET (embryo transfer) media and preservation media for fresh and frozen semen.
IMV’s production facility was designed to meet quality insurance standard. Our media lab is FDA approved and ISO 9001:2000 certified. The air-filtrated facility is equiped with a class-10 000 clean room and working areas under class-100 laminar flowhood.
Temperature and hygrometry, key elements in our manufacturing process, are constantly regulated and monitored. All components meet the standard of at least one pharmacopeia system (FR, EUR, USP, BP). Every batch is tested for compliance both physically and chemically and also in-vitro with live semen.
