Getting ready

1- Open the AV (artificial vagina)

2- Place the liner in the center of the AV

3- Partially close the AV

4- Fold the liner around the upper edge of the AV 5- Pre-position the closing guide inside the small square latch.

Do not close the AV completely

The SAFEMATE™ is now ready to be used

Using Safemate to collect semen 1- Prepare the boar and extend its penis

6- Place the AV onto the clamp (under the dummy)

2- Stimulate the tip of the penis until the boar commits himself

7- Leave the boars alone

3- Insert the penis inside the lined AV while applying gentle pressure on the AV

8- Once the boar is done, take the AV away from the clamp and remove the collection cone

4- Leave the first drops of semen on the floor

9- Separate the collection bag from the upper part of the collection cone by tearing on the pre-cut line.

Throw away the cone and the liner

5- Connect the collection cone onto the AV

Daily cleaning 10- Soak the AV in soapy water 11- Rinse 12- Dry with paper towel 13- Sterilize (3 hours at 65°C or 150°F)
