The present proposal is to have Mass celebrated at 6.00pm followed by a reception in the parish hall. For those who wish to congratulate Fr Malachy’s sixty years as a priest there are donation envelopes at the back of the Church. The Wednesday Lunch -­‐The next lunch is on Wednesday November 9th. New members always welcome. Please give your name to any of the priests or Sr Corinne. FRIDAY IS FIRST FRIDAY: Mass at 7.00pm followed by prayers for healing. All welcome.


PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL: meet on Wednesday at 7.30, after the All Souls Day evening Mass. We need new members for the Pastoral Council – if you are interested, please have a word with Fr Mark, Fr Patrick or Gerry McWilliams, chair of the PPC. NOVEMBER DEAD LIST – Mass will be offered daily throughout November for those whose names are handed in. The November Dead Lists and envelopes are available at the back of the Church.

OUR PARISH Christmas Fair: 3rd December -­‐ 5 WEEKS TO GO!! We would like all your help to make this day a great success. We need new/nearly new goods to sell: BOTTLES, CAKES, SWEETS, TOYS etc Please no bric-­‐a-­‐brac. There are a few stall-­‐spaces for rent at £10. First come, first served. All goods may be handed in to Sr Corinne. Christmas Cards…. Now on sale in the shop. PARISH DIARY 2017 The 2017 Parish Diary is now available at the back of the Church. The diary is our gift to you, however it is customary to make a 50p donation to Syria. THE MEDITATION GROUP – Tuesday 2.15pm and Thursday 7.30pm (Upper room)

AFM (MISSION) RED BOXES Box holders please let your promoter have your red box (or leave at the back of the Church) before the end of October. The promoters’ envelopes are available for collection from the back of church. Thank you for your support for the Missions. WOMEN’S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER – In March 2017 the Herne Bay Service will take place in our Church. There will be Preparation Day on Wednesday 2nd November from 10.00am at the Baptist Church. If you are interested in attending the Preparation Day please contact Tricia Fifield 01227 373277. The service has been prepared by the women of the Philippines.

CONFIRMATION 2017 Call to young people in Years 9 & 10. If you are interested in learning about what making your Confirmation in 2017 will involve, please send your name, age and contact details into Father Mark -­‐via email at ourladyhernebay@gmail.com . A general meeting will be arranged in early November when you can come along meet the team and ask what making your Confirmation will mean to you -­‐ we look forward to hearing from you. Adoration every weekday: One hour, from 8.30-­‐9.30a.m. Also Saturday morning, 10.00 to 11.00. There is a further opportunity each week: at Convent Chapel, 25 Western Esplanade from 4.30 to 5.30 p.m. on Fridays.
