Blessed are all who seek, for they shall indeed find. Let us pray for all who are seeking true meaning and purpose for their lives. FEAST DAYS THIS COMING WEEK Monday 9th January - The Baptism of the Lord, which marks the end of the Christmas Season of the Church’s year. FR PATRICK CP: on Monday is joining a group of priests from all over the country on a week’s pilgrimage to the Holy Land. We wish him an enjoyable and fruitful time in the land of Our Lord’s birth.

The Snowflake Appeal SVP – Thank you for your generous response to the annual Snowflake Appeal, you raised £412.00 to date. Please do return your Snowflake Jars so we can use them again. Thank you. CONFIRMATION 2017: There will be an introductory meeting for those who have asked to be confirmed on this Sunday 8 January at 6.00 in the Retreat Hall. Parents are also invited. The Confirmation Team look forward to seeing you on 8th. A MESSAGE FROM CAFOD - A big thank you to all of your parish community for the help and support you have given to CAFOD in 2016, from your local team in Southwark. In the New Year we are holding some information sessions about volunteering. New Year’s resolution: Make a difference with CAFOD Make 2017 the year you meet new friends, inspire others to act for social justice, and use your skills to help our sisters and brothers working to overcome poverty around the globe. Are you a good communicator who would enjoy speaking in churches? Are you a people-person who would relish involving and encouraging others in your local area? Are you a budding writer who could contribute to our blog and e-news? WINE & WISDOM – Saturday 4th Feb The Hasland School Of Dance will be holding what they hope to become an annual Wine & Wisdom evening; to raise money for their School Fund. They are also holding a raffle, the proceeds of which will go to their favourite Charites, Make-A-Wish and Kent Search & Rescue. Venue – Catholic Hall in Clarence Rd, Herne Bay. Time – 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Cost - £8 per person on tables of 8. Food - Ploughman’s-style food will be provided for each table. Please bring your own wine & soft drinks.
