LET’S TALK: After the very successful session on Atheism last month, this month we tackle (so to speak) The Bible. Is the Bible important today? Why do Protestants seem to know the Bible better than Catholics? How do we approach the Bible in terms of science, history and morality etc? How do different communities eg. Christians and Jews differ in their approach to the Bible? How do other faith communities approach their holy books? Just a few questions to exercise your minds as we prepare for the next Let’s Talk session, which will take place on Monday 20 February from 7.00 to 8.30 in the Catholic Club. Please see poster in church porch or take one of the cards from the ledge at the back of the church. The course is free, including materials.
