It will take place in Liverpool and run from September 7-9. There will be talks and workshops on every aspect of the Eucharist on the Friday; a major celebration on the Saturday in the Liverpool Arena at which the keynote speaker will be Bishop Robert Barron (who may be known to you as the presenter of the CATHOLICISM series on EWTN and DVD); and on the Sunday , Mass will be celebrated in the Cathedral of Christ the King, with a Blessed Sacrament Procession planned along the route between the Catholic and Anglican Cathedrals. The purpose of the Congress is to renew devotion to the Eucharist in all parishes, schools and communities. The parishes in the Archdiocese of Southwark have each been invited to send two delegates to the Congress and Fr Mark has invited Peter and Marian Green to represent us in Herne Bay. It is hoped that the Deanery will provide opportunities for local parishes to come together and reflect on the major themes to be covered by the Congress: Scripture, Liturgy, Mission, Adoration etc. Prayer Cards have been prepared by the Congress team in Southwark and they will be available this weekend. Please take a card and use it daily if you possibly can. FORTHCOMING EVENTS TO ALL EX PUPILS/TEACHERS OF LA SAINTE UNION CONVENT.
