FROM THE EDITOR Hello everyone “Miss Lingva” as a kind of scientific reporting on language and linguistics, increasing students’ motivation for learning foreign languages and my first international project experience. Well, what is a linguistic magazine? It is a magazine with articles on linguistics- and language-based theory, news, application, findings, and field reports. It is committed to diversity in its scope of reporting, covering both the scientific and applied sides of linguistics, while maintaining a neutral stance towards debates occurring within the field. I love learning languages and try to use all the facilities for this. Once I saw an online linguistic magazine on the internet. It was Babel. Babel is written and compiled by world-class linguists. . And I liked the idea to create me own magazine. And I decided to bring this project to my classmates and foreign students. Of course, the publication of a school magazine is a very difficult task. And here is what I and my team did. Special Thanks to my colleagues! You are the best!

The World of your opportunities
The festival «the World of your opportunities» is a new format for children and teen activities. The idea of the project is to create a bright, fun and inspiring environment for the implementation and development of personality of children and adolescents. This project helps the child to not to feel lonely. We, Polukhanova Daria and Suinova Snezhana, visited four children’s charity festival «the World of your opportunities», in Moscow on 21 February, 2015. He was completely dedicated to children. They can play, practice yoga, draw, make soaps of a variety of forms, to mold test different shapes to make handwritten engravings, to weave wonderful bracelets and even test your fingerprints! A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.

2 Mother is the most important person in everybody’s life. A good mother is compassionate and full of understanding. She listens to her children and sets an example for them. A good mother is also someone to look up to. A mother is also a friend. She listens to problems her children have at school as well as those problems from other friends and the peer pressure her children have to deal with.

by Karina Petuntc only love, tenderness, heartwarming photographs. It is also a special kind of responsibility. Ideally, mother is the person with whom the child is most comfortable and quiet. With her, he can be relaxed, be yourself. Because he feels her protection. If a child is to be fed with this security, then it is easier to build a relationship with the world. Is it not precious? Mother’s love is a selfless service. Many people say mother’s love is the most spiritually in this world. Because mother can’t deny her child and love him anyway. Even criminals have a mother, and many of them continue to love even stumbled child. Mother doesn’t cease to love, even when child already has his own family, even when he forgets about mom, living their lives. He will remain as a child in his mother’s heart forever. The mother gives the child as much as he can never return to her. She gives it all without having to wait to get back. Mother gives her children very much – her blood, her image, her love, her values, an example of life, attitudes to themselves and others. Mother deserves our respect and love. But for what? We conducted a small survey where the children and teenagers responded to this question. Here are their answers: • «Thank you mom for that when I was little you bought me that I really wanted, because of this, I get everything I want now» • «Thanks mom for being a child I had the most beautiful costumes for matinees at school» 8

Mummy… how many meanings of this word are there?! It is support and assistance in life, gentle kiss, soft hands, kind eyes and inimitable smile. It is an unique smile, because no one can smile as my darling mother! Mom always wishes me all the best, gives me hope and never leaves me along. But what should I give her in return? I am often capricious, argue, disagreeable. Why do not I and other children appreciate our mother’s care? It’s bad on our part and we have to change. At first we need to understand who is mother. Mother is not only a woman who gave birth to you. But it is the person who educates you, gives you her infinite love and does everything to make you happy. She did not sleep at night when you were sick . Every mother worried about her child no less than about herself. It is not easy to be a mom. Motherhood is not • «Thank you mom for trying to teach me , I became an excellent student in my school» • «Thank you mom for goodies and sweets that you pleased me» • «Thank you Mom for this world! Thank you Mom for taking care of me! Thank you Mom for Love! Thank you Mom for understanding and support! Thank you Mom for comfort in the house! Thank Mom for the education! Thank you Mom for my sisters and brothers! Thank you Mom for your contribution to my life!» As you can see, we can thank our mothers endlessly and there is always something to be thankful. Mom has done so much for us. That is why we should appreciate her. Even though what that mom each only one and no one can ever replace her. How we can thank my mother for all it? At first do not hurt your mom. Just be a little more attention, take care of her , let her feel that you truly love her. Meet mother after work, give a flower or just help with the bags from the store. Take a walk on the way home, wondering how her day was. Do surprises for no reason: bring a bouquet of wildflowers. Even a simple house cleaning will please her and release her evening or weekend. And do not be stingy once again say that you love her. There are three words, but they will not replace any one of your gift. You probably already know what and how to thank your mom now, don’t waste time!

A woman’s face with Nature’s own hand painted Hast thou, the master-mistress of my passion; A woman’s gentle heart, but not acquainted With shifting change, as is false women’s fashion; An eye more bright than theirs, less false in rolling, Gilding the object whereupon it gazeth; A man in hue, all hues in his controlling, Which steals men’s eyes and women’s souls amazeth. And for a woman wert thou first created, Till Nature, as she wrought thee, fell a-doting, And by addition me of thee defeated, By adding one thing to my purpose nothing. But since she pricked thee out for women’s pleasure, Mine be thy love and thy love’s use their treasure. William Shakespeare ( Sonnet 20) 10

Ladies, let’s celebrate our day – it’s international Women’s Day! Show the world how proud you are being a woman. A famous British scientist Stephen Hawking once said that the greatest mystery of all time is not related to science at all, but are the WOMEN all along. Today, March 8, marked the celebration of Women’s Day all around the globe, giving us all an opportunity to recognize the most “mysterious” specie God has ever invented. International’s Women’s Day is the day to celebrate womanhood. On May 8, 1965 International Women’s Day was declared as a non working day in the USSR, by the decree of the USSR Presidium of the Supreme Soviet. 8 March is kind of a combination of St. Valentine’s and Mother’s Day. It is a wonderful day of womanhood, love, flowers and indulgence. Most Russians celebrate Women’s Day at home enjoying a big meal. Some people are going to visit their friends. Only 3% of the Russians are planning to go out to a restaurant. Russian women like to receive following gifts: chocolate, fragrances and cosmetics, souvenirs, jewelry and, of course, flowers! Tulips are symbols of spring. Along with mimosas and daffodils, tulips are the most popular flowers giv-
en on Women’s Day. Also the colour of flowers might be important. Some superstitious Russian women associate yellow flowers with unfaithfulness and a break-up. It is better choosing red or white flowers. The only exception to this rule is the yellow mimosa, one of the typical flowers given on the Women’s Day. Here’s a partial list of flowers’ meanings to help you get started. Follow them, dear men! Carnation- Fascination Chrysanthemum- Friendship, Daisy- Loyal love, Orchid- Love and beauty Lily- Purity and sweetness Red rose- Romantic love Pink rose- Secret love Yellow rose- Friendship White rose- Innocent love Rose, Yellow & Orange: Passionate thoughts Lilac, Mauve: “Do You Still Love Me” Honeysuckle – The Bond of Love Ambrosia: Your Love is reciprocated Camellia, red: You’re a flame in my heart Camellia, white: You’re adorable Forget-me-not: Faithful Love, Memories Hibiscus: Delicate Beauty Hyacinth, purple: I am sorry, Please forgive me, Sorrow Oleander: Beauty and Grace Periwinkle, White: Pleasures of Memory
Men have to cook on this day! Godspeed! Cheese Cookies (they are my favourite cookies) Ingredients : 1 cup white flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp butter, ¼ tsp salt¸ ½ cup milk, little bit of grated cheese

Mrs. Globe Maria Andreeva advises, how shape up after holidays
The first week after Christmas holidays is not easy for many people: they need to return to the tempo of modern living, and yet numerous feasts affected our appearance. What should we do, if during the holidays you gain in weight , and how can we shape up fast and without harm for our health ? Our colleague has already interviewed Maria Andreeva. She is title holder «Vice Mrs. Globe 2013». She went to this title through the thorns. Maria has three children. And after the birth of the youngest child weighed over 100 kilograms. Only right approach to the problem strength of mind helped her to lose 50 kilograms during the year. She knows very well how to get rid of New Year’s salad. Maria Andreeva: «Firstly I want to say, that to be on a diet is not correct. Your food is your way of life. A diet, that is suitable for everybody, does not exist, and everything must be chosen individually. In either case, sharp limitation of nutrition is a stress to the body.
Because of this your body operates in power saving mode and won’t return its fat stock. You won’t lose weight, and on the contrary, will begin to put on weight. After holidays the first case you need to study, what was your food, and what products were more in your body: containing of proteins, carbohydrates or fats. This can be done either with the help of professionals in a special device, or by examining your food diary. It’s very important to understand, how much polluted is your body, accordingly, to establish a program of cleansing and detox, starting cleansing of the body. But, in any case, do not start fasting sharply, and slowly get out of overeating, going to a lighter, quickly digested food the food, – if you were not enough her during the holidays. As a result, highquality work on yourself, you will lose unwanted kilograms, excess water. Puffiness will fall down. And your next task is to keep shape! 2015, March / missLINGVA

For those who are going to enter the foreign language universities
by Safyanova Julia Moscow Hi. My name is Julia Safyanova, I am 23. I am from Kremyonki although I do not live here anymore. I graduated from Kremyonki Secondary School #2 in 2008. As many of my schoolmates, I had a very vague idea about my future profession. Friends and relatives gave me different advice but I still did not know what to choose. Finally I decided that probably the best thing is to study languages because I always can get some additional education but in all spheres of activities the most appreciated specialists are the ones who know a language or two. So I entered Moscow Pedagogical State University, Faculty of Foreign Languages. For 5 years of my education I studied Practical and Theoretical Grammar and Phonetics, Lexicology, History of Language, German and many other things. In 2013 I graduated from the university with a red diploma and again with no definite plans for future. I looked through some Internet resources and came to conclusion that considering my education the possible jobs for me are personal assistant of some top manager, interpreter, teacher (what definitely does not suit me) or secretary in some international company. As 16
missLINGVA / March, 2015
you may see, all these options are only administrative and presuppose no career development. It became even more evident to me after I spent a year in a large construction company. There are engineers and managers who conclude contracts, design building and control the cash flows. And there are interpreters whose task is only to translate someone’s letters, correct someone’s mistakes and translate during meetings. I realized very quickly that it is definitely not the ambition of my life. My ex-group mate who worked as a secretary in had the same feelings. It is one thing to learn English as a hobby. But if you are going to study it deeper in some university, think twice whether you really need it. Of course it is interesting to study typical speech patterns or peculiarities of consonants in Medieval English. But if you are not a scientist this information is mostly useless. All that I have described is only my experience. Yom may take this into consideration or may not. As for me now I am taking my second education in Economy and I hope you will make you right choice too. Good luck!
Rainbow Loom By Maria Zimatkina Hello everyone, it’s me again, Maria Zimatkina, and today I want to tell you about an American craft that is becoming very popular in many different countries. This product is called «Rainbow Loom». It is a new style of bracelets made out of small little rubber bands. I found out about this product when I was living in the US. Many kinds in my school were many wearing these really cool bracelets. I’ve got very interested with this kit and wanted to make bracelets like that too. So, I asked my mom if we could try this. She liked that idea and she said «yes». I was really excited!! When we came home, I immediately sat down and started searching tutorials for such bracelets on my favorite «YouTube». The first bracelet that I tried to make was one of the hardest styles and was called «The Starburst». I quickly realized that it was my first mistake...choosing to make one of the hardest bracelets, when I had no experience with the rainbow loom. I spent on it four long hours. Eventually, my mom helped me a bit, because we both got really confused. After all, we did make it! And I really liked it. «Rainbow Loom» is a plastic loom with three columns and in each column there are thirteen pegs. It is also comes with a plastic hook and 600 rubber bands. Additional bands may be purchased in craft stores in huge variety of shades and colors. Rainbow loom is not just for making bracelets, you can make charms, ankle bracelets, necklaces, and many more creations. To make a bracelet you need to put a specific pattern of bands on the loom and then secure the creation you need to hook the rubber bands in a specific order as well.
The creator of this kit is Ching Chong. He used to work in the company called Nissan where he was an engineer for crash-tests. He and his family lived in Michigan, USA. One night his daughters were making bracelets out of small rubber bands and Ching decided to join them. But it was really hard for him, because of his big fingers. After that he created a loom, along with a hook, to make it easier to make bracelets. He took a piece of wood, hammered in push pins and took a hook for removing plaque on teeth and with a few placements of bands he made a bracelet with a rhombus pattern. His daughters were amazed with this invention and they immediately wanted to start making these really cool bracelets, learn how to make them, and show all of their friends. Ching’s daughters offered him to try and sell his invention online. From that point on «Rainbow Loom» started to amaze people in the USA. Rainbow Loom is known in almost every school. Boys and girls ages from 8-15 are really interested in this product, even parents got hooked. Parents liked this because their kids finally got off the computers, TVs, games, and did something productive. Some people even use «Rainbow Loom» as a fundraisers. One little boy named Max was diagnosed with cancer, and he and his mom decided to use rainbow loom to raise funds for his treatment. They came on a popular American show with Jimmy Kimmel and on that show they asked if people could send in their Rainbow Loom creations. With the creations they would have someone make a suit and tie all out of «Rainbow Loom», then they would sell it on a website called EBay and the money would go to fight childhood cancer. Also, people come up with their own ideas to create different things from rainbow loom and they share them on YouTube. I enjoy watching tutorials because I get to see other designs that people create. I really love this crafty product. Here is a list of good rainbow loom channels on YouTube: TutorialsbyA , Feelinspiffy, Justinstoys , ElegantFashion360, MadeByMommy In the nearest future, I’m planning to make a YouTube channel myself and share with everybody my creations and my huge collection of these crafts that is still growing, and growing. 2015, March / missLINGVA

TOP 5 Beauty Products for Spring 2015
by Makeeva Alyona - beauty and food blogger, consultant in public relations Spring is a wonderful time – nature awakens and renews. I suppose, nature is wise, because it cleans up itself inside and outside before flowering. Pursuant to Ayurveda, an ancient science, spring is the best time to follow nature and clean our bodies. First of all, we ought to start with eutrophy, secondly, we should clean our face and body thoroughly, because our skin, being a protective mechanism, accumulates harmful and negative elements, preventing them from getting into organism.
FACE. Besides your usual care, such as cleaning, moisturizing, additional care, add serum or oil. Serum helps our skin not only to protect itself from various negative ecological factors (radicals, exhaust fume), it also helps us to extend care. My favorite serum is the hard serum bar . It is an extra natural product that deeply moistures face skin and renews it with ease. As it works
at night, oils that enter into the composition of serum, participate in regenerative processes deep into epidermis, helping to stay young and beautiful longer. Let’s see how it works. The main ingredient is murmur oil, which is extracted from murmur tree seeds (murmur trees grow in Brazil and the Amazon region). It is highly emollient and moisturizing, and is perfect for dry skin. Murmur butter is also protective and good for sensitive skin thanks to its film-forming value and high content of vitamins. Traditionally, this oil is used to soften and protect hair. The second important ingredient is calamine powder. Calamine is zinc oxide and is used in med-
ical ointments as a perfect antiseptic. It is a great solution to relieve redness, stinging and irritation of the skin. The third one is rose, a gentle and useful component. The main qualities are smoothing and conditioning. Rose is being used in cosmetic since the Roman times. The last ingredient is fresh Portobello mushrooms. I cannot, but agree that it sounds crazy. The mushrooms are full of vitamins B, C and D, rich in zinc and potassium. I like this product not only for its’ skin care effect, but also for its’ esthetic quality. It looks like an oil tablet and it melts under the warmth of your fingers. This is a real way to say “thank you” to your skin.
Have you ever been to Bali? It is a Paradise! The island is covered with a great number of tremendous flowers and trees, warm aromas and spices pervade the air, and people look so happy. It is not surprising that one of the best care oils is from Bali. It is called Paradise, hydrate by BY-cosmetics. This hydrate is absolutely natural and contains only organic ingredients. The basic oils of this beauty product are jojoba and apricot that are also known as the main beauty ingredi-
ents. Hydrate also contains rosehip, avocado, wheat, geranium and lemon oils, and vitamin E as well. It is a source of beautiful and radiant skin! When I first opened the bottle of «Paradise» I lost my head of the blended smell of rosewood, fresh lemon and rough geranium with drydown of magnolia and spices. This hydrate is extremely healthful: rosewood gives our skin freshness, softness and smoothness, avocado protects and moisturizes, rosemary has antiseptic action. As for
me, this is my favorite beauty product that I apply in the evening and that unites care and aromatherapy in one bottle.

HAIR. Winter is an unfavorable season for our hair that becomes damaged and dry. Our duty is to protect and
restore it, bring it silky and shiny. My choice for hair care is BC Barbary Fig Oil by Schwarzkopf Professional. The BC Barbary Fig Oil is a light nutrition oil, extremely rich with in vitamin E and linoleic acid, thus making it an effective treatment for damaged hair. Barbary Fig seed oil protects against free radicals, stimulates new hair growth and provides intense hydration. Active
minerals, vitamin K and amino acids have a potent antioxidant action that is resulted in protection, smoothes, softness and flexibility of your hair. I also like a rich intense mask of the same BC Barbary Fig Oil series by Schwarzkopf Professional. It is very unusual, thick, as a peanut oil, with rich Barbary smell. The mask makes hair soft, strong, silky and protected, and it even restores hair ends, hence your hair becomes shiny and looks great. If your face and hair are good, it is time to take care of your body.
BODY. There are a lot of women look great, but not all of them pay atten-
and body, and will protect, moisturize and smooth your skin. My choice is
tion to their body skin. Our body skin is exposed to damage as well as face or even worse. It gets dry underneath clothes or after taking a bath/ shower, it lacks oxygen - all these factors influence our body skin and its health, and as a consequence out body skin loses moisture and grows old. That is why body protection is one of the most serious and important beauty rituals. There are hundreds of different body lotions, creams and oils and there is one universal piece of advice – choose the solution that will meet the requirements of your own skin
Ictyane lait hydratant body lotion by Ducray. The lotion structure is light and gentle, that in its turn makes the lotion comfortable and easy to use. The lotion contains such ingredients as safflower seed oil and coconut oil, which are famous for fatty acids and vitamins. These components are also called oils for perfection, because their positive influence for skin is specified as softness, smoothness, skin nourishment, regeneration. I like the Ictyane lotion for the moisturizing action without feeling heaviness of my skin. It is worth mentioning
that the manufacturer Pierre Fabre is the only company that produces farm cosmetic and has a great experience in medical skin treatment. All of the company’s products are dermatologically tested and could be applied to any skin type.
LIPS. The last, but not the least beauty product is a lip balm. Not every woman wants to spend much time to make up, but all of us want to be beautiful. Colour lip balm is a great idea for express make-up. I prefer Pout Polish by Sleek MAKE UP. It protects lips from getting dry and nega-
The lip balm ingredients include almond oil, shea butter, vitamin E, as well as SPF 15 factor. With the Pout Polish your lips will look so shiny and sexy, while a wide range of colours allow to change your image as often as you wish. Today is easy to be beautiful and to take care of yourself, so, please, choose correct products, and your skin will thank you with a healthy
tive impact of environment.

SCHOOL MATTERS
Modern Tricks Meet Tradition.
3
Ways of Learning Foreign Languages
Numerous methods of learning foreign languages are known to have appeared lately. Every new approach claims to possess unique tricks that will help one master a foreign language in a short time. However, how efficient are all these techniques in comparison to the traditional approach? How easily can one adopt them and adapt them to one’s own mindset? Are we too old dogs to learn new tricks? Sure enough, no new tricks will work unless they form an entity and are successfully combined. Although any approach to language learning can be useful, it should be noted that a certain method is apt for training a certain aspect of the language not the whole system. We will have a glimpse of the main teaching method also known as Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) popular with most Russian language schools and will 20
missLINGVA / March, 2015
try to analyze its advantages and disadvantages. Communicative method was first applied 50 years ago and immediately became one of the most popular ways of teaching a foreign language as the opposite to the traditional long-term educational process. The original purpose was to make students learn quicker through communication and learning some basic clichés and set expressions without going into detail of grammar structures. Today all major schools tend to apply communicative approach and try to exclude using the mother tongue while teaching. Nevertheless, have you ever stopped to consider what the true sense of this method is and whether this approach can be suitable for every learner? The general principle of CLT is learning through interaction, which means that about 80 per
cent of the lesson should be dedicated to speaking. Speech practice involves a wide range of various activities such as: - Role plays. Students find themselves in a wide range of imaginary situations where they have to play certain roles according to the topic, e.g. a shop assistant and a customer, a landlady and a tenant etc. Such type of activity works well when practicing spontaneous communication skills based on situations and problems that might take place in everyday life. - Pair-work. This activity is aimed at drilling set expressions, active vocabulary and grammar structures. Students discuss certain questions in pairs using new words and expressions constantly repeating the key elements of the given worksheet. - Group work. This type of speaking practice can also be really efficient as students are expected to acquire the ability of generating discussion and expressing their opinion on a number of subjects. - Grammar games. As far as communicative method is concerned, grammar should be learnt in context. Grammar presented in the form of games enables students to feel how the phrase with certain grammar is constructed and understand the situation and the context where it can be used. One of the key aspects of the communicative approach involves the principle of “emerging into the language environment”, as initially it was created for students who
don’t speak the same language and have a native speaker as their teacher. The learner is expected to pick up basic communication skills faster and start speaking without a language barrier after the first couple of lessons. Can we expect these principles to work in our native surroundings? The answer that can be given is rather vague, for there are several reasons why this approach might fail. 1) Beginner students may find it really challenging to adapt to the surroundings where speaking their mother tongue is banned. It also prevents them from grasping the true meaning of words and leads to misusing basic grammar rules. 2) If students and their teacher speak the same language the total ban of using mother tongue is impossible. 3) Communicative method involves about 80 per cent of oral practice including pair work. Therefore, if a group is too big, students may feel left out and out of control. It discourages many students from practicing, as the teacher cannot physically give his or her full attention to one pair. 4) Speaking of grammar practice, one can say that although presented in context, grammar rules are introduced in the form of cliché phrases. As a result, students have vague understanding of how to apply grammar structures on the spot.
However, one can’t possibly deny the positive influence of the method. 1) It enables one to start speaking at once. 2) It encourages a student to communicate with others without fear. 3) Such activities as pair-work, grammar games and group discussions can seriously develop one’s communicative skills. 4) Active vocabulary is introduced in the form of set expressions, which are easier to learn and use when compared to lists of separate words. Analyzing weak and strong points of CLT, it is easy to realize what categories of students are unlikely get positive result from such classes: 1) Beginner students in native surroundings; 2) Students who require an ultimate control and undivided attention on teacher’s side; 3) People who are shy and laconic by nature. CLT method is highly recommended to those who already
have basic knowledge of a foreign language and need to master and develop spontaneous communicative skills. Recognizing weak and strong points of CLT, the founders of STAR TALK Language School have come up with an idea to make it more approachable for different target groups of students. They decided to resort to the traditional (university) approach along with CLT and squeeze the strongest point out of the two methods creating a cocktail of modern tricks resting on a solid academic basis. In our next article we will go into detail and dwell on the state-of-art approach to language learning practiced at STAR TALK Language School. Moreover, we will talk about various modes of study (i.e. self-study, on-line, in-person etc.) and try to help you pick the right one for yourself. For now, stay tuned and good luck learning foreign languages! Yulia Shmigirilova, Leading Methodologist STAR TALK Language School www.start2talk.ru

HEADING
«The Children
«Receive what you want to give them»

of this Land»
«The Children of this Land» is a charity project founded by Charlie Armstrong. It is called so for the song, which he has composed for this project exactly. This song remains Mr Armstrong of his childhood. Charlie Armstrong realise his project in Egypt and Russia, because people there, as he said «receive what you want to give them». When he came to the shelter he gives the lessons in singing. Mostly because it is a good, enjoyable kind of learning. Firstly Charlie speaks a little Russian, then children and Mr Armstrong communicate in English. Sounds fantastic, isn’t it? Mr Armstrong is a truly philanthropist. He said «I was thinking about my time when I was a small guy». He didn’t have many presents, but he had fruits. The family had a problem with money. He invested a lot. And he is going to do this over and over again. Sometimes people help him. For example his friend, a chief, who baked expensive cakes and offered Charlie take them for kids for Christmas. And the most amazing thing that he don’t do this for mass media. «For me is a big satisfaction if I can see those children, when I give them presents they are smiling» – he says – «When uncle Charlie comes it’s easy as much as you want». That is the thing he wants to achieve, that nobody could dictate.
But he brings to the children not only the physical food, but also a food for their souls. «My charity thing is not for commercial. Really not. For me the best thing I can have is the smile that I can have from one of this kids». So there is no fund. Mr Armstrong do everything on his own. He really don’t need any journalist’s attention: «If I want to do something mass media I will do on the Red Square and start sinning ‘I feel good’. But for the rest what I do with the children personally is nobody’s business. I give them a piece of my heart, of my soul and that’s it». Mesmerising. Charlie Armstrong also had kind of a dream to open all English music school in Russia, where children can come in the summer holidays our weekends. Like a musical boarding school. There will be teachers, who taught children proper sinning, English. And, of course, children have to educate each other about the experience in this school and talking English. They will be stimulated. Mr Armstrong suppose, that after the first summer children might well be on the way of speaking English. After that they could return at weekends to continue with education. After the two of three seasons they could fluently speak English. That’s great, because if you know different languages, then you are open to the world.
