Winter Sports Registration Registration is now open and will close on 30 Nov for the winter youth sports. Teams are established by age groups, and skill assessments. ∙ Basketball – ages 5-15 - GROUPS 5-6, 7-8, 9-10,11-12, 13-15 ∙ Cheerleading – ages 5-12 GROUPS 5-8 and 9-12 Skill assessments will be held in December with practices starting in January.

Taylan Demarco (SAC of the Month) Taylan is a five year old kindergartener here at Osan School Age Care. Taylan’s favorite thing to do at the SAC is go to the S.T.E.M. room and play on the Wii U. When Taylan grows up he wants to be a race car driver because “they are so fast.” In August, Taylan transitioned from the Child Development Center and immediately set a great example for his transitioning peers and school age children alike. He is always kind and wants to lend a helping hand to whoever he can. We are fortunate to have Taylan here at the SAC!
Ava Jin Calbillo (Youth of the Month) Ava Jin Calbillo is our Youth of the Month for November. Ava is turning 11 on the 4th of November. (Happy birthday Ava!!!) She is a 5th grader at Osan American Elementary School, and her favorite subject is reading. She loves playing games on the computer and working on arts and crafts at the Youth Center. She is always willing to help out her friends by running a snack bar as a Torch Club Member. Ava also is very gifted at drawing. Ava hasn’t decided what she wants to do as a career, but she wants to do something that related to animals. Huskies are her favorite animal. Maybe someday we will see you as a wonderful veterinarian. “Go save those animals Ava!”
Eddie Noe Guzmen (Teen of the Month) Eddie Noe Guzmen is our Teen of the Month for November. Eddie is 13 years old and is in the 8th grade at Osan Middle School. He has been living in Korea for three years. He loves coming to the Youth Center to play basketball with his friends and being physically active all day. When it comes to school, his favorite times of day are P.E and Math. Eddie’s hobbies are playing basketball and reading. His role model is Stephen Curry. He wants to join the NBA and play for the Golden State Warriors in California. “We hope to see you on ESPN in the near future Eddie!!”
