Fonts and colours

Classical

Typography; the style would be heavily serifed and would feature many different stylistic aspects and decoration; including drop caps and other classical features.

Colour; The colours would be royal colours such as purples, reds and gold. Other colours would include classical black, greys and whites as well as decorative such as burgundy.

I will chose these typography's and colour because I feel that it reflects the theatrical side of the magazine quite well; and this is the style stereotypically associated with the theatre.

Modern

Typography; The style would be simple and would have little if non serifs, it would be rounded and would probably be one of the many used fonts on word or Photoshop.

Colour; would include whites and greys and would also include technological colours such as green and blue which look modern. They would most likely be solid fonts and be slightly faded

The modern style would be well received by the young audience and if I was to blend the two styles of classical and modern they wold appear to be a fashionable clash of styles.

“Artistic

Typography; The style would have a hand drawn look to it and would be heavily decorated this could be quite easily done using the brush tool on Photoshop.

Colours; Colours such as red and blue and yellow which are the primary colours would be used as well as a bigger range of colours.

People who enjoy my magazine will probably also enjoy art and all things artistic, thus it would be appropriate to use a hand drawn and colourful style.
