The COVID-19 Certificate Given the size of the event, at the request of the health authorities, we will carry out systematic COVID-19 certificate checks to enter the "Espace Ultraks" area, where the start/finish area, the stands and the distribution of bibs are located.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What is the COVID-19 certificate? For complete information, please consult the official website of the Swiss authorities. In a few words, the COVID-19 Certificate is the proof that you belong to at least one of the following categories: •

OR to be cured of the disease (test-confirmed coronavirus infection not older than six months);

OR have a negative PCR test result (valid for 72 hours)

OR have a negative result of the rapid antigenic test (valid for 48 hours)

Note that a self-test is not considered valid.

Who is it for? •

All runners aged 16 and over.

Spectators aged 16 and over wishing to access the Ultraks Area (see map page 25)

NOTE: Spectators outside the Ultraks Area are not concerned.

What about foreign certificates? •

European certificates are recognised.

However, we cannot guarantee the recognition of nonEuropean ones.

CONTROL - MODUS OPERANDI The check is carried out at the points of entry to the Ultraks area. It consists of a scan of the COVID-19 certificate crossed with the identity document. We will hand out wristbands indicating until which day of the event the test is valid (either Friday, Saturday or Sunday).

ON-SITE TESTS In Zermatt, tests are only carried out in doctors' practices and not in pharmacies. There are only four doctors' practices in Zermatt. IT IS THEREFORE OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE TO ARRIVE IN ZERMATT TESTED OR YOU MAY NOT FIND ANY TESTING CAPACITY. We are working with the doctors to improve the situation, but we cannot be held responsible for the lack of testing capacity in Zermatt. We will keep you informed in the coming days / hours, but again, we recommend that you get tested BEFORE you arrive in Zermatt. Larger capacities exist in Visp, Brig, Sierre, or even Sion or Martigny. (see official website) Please note that most of these test centres require an appointment.
